I'll link this without venturing an opinion. I imagine many of you realize that the AP is the primary source of news, especially breaking news, for a great many media outlets. Most of those take their cues from AP reporting. And they do an outstanding job as far as broad coverage of various events at multiple locations to many to even mention.
But are they fair and balanced when they venture into the editorial side of things? Editorial bias can be subtle, or it can also hit you over the head. Just check for yourself, and let someone know what you think.

Reading this............
Hurricane Katrina and the bungled government response have weakened President Bush, raising questions among Americans about his Iraq and flood-recovery plans and spreading fears among fellow Republicans about next year's elections.
....I think to myself they are making up a story where a story doesn't exhist. Can I tell you how sick I was of the Clinton bashing over Lewinsky? Enough! Can I tell you I'm so sick of the Bush Bashing I'm going to throw up if I read one more bipolar piece about Bush/ratings..strike that.."plumeting ratings".
Every adjective that can accelerate the heartrate. >HACK< and John "Herman Munster" Kerry's such a poser wannabe copycat. I actually felt sorry for the Democrats that they couldn't come up with a better canidate.
