The left is taking full advantage of Katrina for their Bush-bashing agenda. All of their theories so far basically revolve around Bush “stealing” money away from the New Orleans levee system to fund the war in Iraq.

LETS HOPE THE BIG ONE DOES NOT DECIDE TO HIT CALIFORNIA. This country could not deal with two catasthrophy's at once.

=============
Thanks for the links. I had no idea - all that quaking in California in the last week? A quake never happened when I was in Calif - think I would be terrified. I live in Florida - I don't remember us every having any quakes, just hurricanes and tornados and wild fires - that's more than enough. We get familiar with our own dangers.
I looked on cable news channels and didn't hear anything about this one yet.

I am sitting here going...oh no...not California too...
But I knew that with the pull out of Gaza last week that wrath was not going to be without consequence.

I live in San Diego, and I have not felt a thing! I used to panic at the thought of a quake, but 20 years of practice calmed me down a lot. These happen more often than you want to know, and usually without damage. Usually. Send your best thoughts and prayers to the people of the Gulf coast; out here on the Left coast, all is well!

Uh, maybe I spoke too soon. Just heard on the radio that there have been 315 quakes in the last 24 hours, out by the Salton Sea (in the desert, really, not much there but sand). They call this a "swarm". Yikes!
But it is sure to be a beautiful day, anyway.

Yikes! Can anyone remember how to say the "Act of Contrition"? Will a simple heartfelt "i'm sorry" work?
Odds are pretty high that I'm not one of the 'chosen' either ...and the S. Monica fault line goes thru my back yard. LOL
