Actually Beth and Dave have sort of completed each other. She put the case on the map and in the news and he has done the behind the scenes work a lot. They both have completed each other. I just hope this will bring Natalee back.

Maybe you should consider seeking psychological help if you feel compelled to throw things at inanimate objects?

Seriously, Beth and Jug did not set up this fund. They do not control it. For all we know Dave hasn't even requested money from the fund, and we have no idea what level of communication the two familys have.

One thing I strongly believe is that if Natalee were here she wouldn't support the people who want to constantly attack and deride her mother, and play favorites with the family members. Some of you who feel the need to make this about whether you like Beth or Dave need to lighten up and realize they are both parents trying to find their missing daughter.

You must be using Internet Explorerm hold the cursor over the picture for a few seconds you'll see an orange button appear on the screen click the button and it will enlarge the picture to original size, you can switch that off in tools internet options advanced multimedia, the first one is enable image auto resizing. If your not using Internet Explorer view the image and drag and drop by holding the right button down and drag across and release it onto your desktop and click it open there in the default image viewer.

I have been thinking and reading about this all day. I have the answer for the Holloway-Twitty family.The person(s) who need to be brought into this situation are forensic scientists. I am dead serious! If she was a virgin as her mom says (and I believe she was)and the pigs(sorry!boys)had sex with her at jvds house as he says, then most likely there will be blood. Right? Also- if she was given a date rape drug, they generally cause certain symptoms which, according to what jvds says, she was going through. The vomiting and loss of consciousness and the false sense of 'being interested" are all synonymous with these drugs. But--forensics guys can find ANYTHING! Blood, vomit, saliva or any other body fluids in even minute amounts. It would place her. I bet if they let Michael Baden and some of his friends into Aruba and into BOTH of the vds houses (none of this, NO ju cannot search, crap)he will find it if it's there! Why in the world wouldn't an inn ocent man let them search HIS house. And as far as we know they just "looked around" jvds apt and took some stuff. NO FORENSICS and I bet they didn't clean stuff that good.One hair, one speck of blood, saliva or vomitus found in either place and they're caught!

No offense ForReal, but how would that catch any of them? Even if they found all of the things you listed in your post how would that do anyhting other than confirm the statements which Beth has? It wouldn't confirm them to be murderers or rapists. They wouldn't be caught.

Still, it would be very useful to find out what the truth is in regards to that night. And this would at least help the police in determining the timeline and events of that night, as well as possbily crossing out some of the other statements the boys have made.

For Real - Re the drugging of Natalee theory. There were drug effects for sure - Alcohol. This is exactly how someone behaves when they are drunk. It is easy to get drunk, and it doesn't take much alcohol, if one is not accustomed to drinking.

Comment re article - Wonder why out of all the comments this article could chose to make, that they pointed out that Dave was surprised to just now find out that Natalee's two step cousins were on the trip with her. Was this just a tid bit they threw in to give the article more content? Or is there a special reason they are interested in this fact?

it seems that Dave and Beth were truely on differant planets....Dave was out of the rich and beautiful loop, and I personally blame Juggy for that...

it was Jug who said he knew about Carlos' and Charlie's wild image and the drugs being offered because HIS son had gone on the exact same trip the year or so before....yet,yet.....Nat was allowed to go ....

I have this suspicion that Daddy Dave wouldn't have approved of that trip ,if asked...

Possibly, Dave is too mellow, too laid back...

Perhaps someone with a little more of a commanding presence could have gotten further along in the justice system..

My recommendation is for Beth to get some forensic specialists to get into the VDS property (by any means) and collect evidence.

Yes I believe that Natalee being a virgin there will definitely be blood evidence....and blood evidence just cannot be washed away. A can of Luminol, some swabs, boxcutters, and some ziploc bags and that is enough to collect evidence.....and there are many private labs that can conduct such tests

The reason why the Arubans are cooperating w Dave is, quite frankly, he is a man and Beth is not. The Dutch culture, even though they are permissive and open, still consider women 2d class citizens compared to men. Look at Anita VDS compare to her husband...that isnt unusual in Dutch culture.

Dear Warrior, thanks for making it clear, once again, that most of the people posting, do not have a single clue what they are talking about. Tell me, if you would be so kind, where you get this incredible piece of nonsense from? Are you Dutch? Have you ever been there? Is there anyone using any evidence in any acusation made over here (except for Dan)? And why is it that you keep listening to a woman who willingly puts up a spliced audio tape on TV? To me that makes it pretty clear why the prosecution is not willing to talk to Beth, but is to Dave. Because here is a man who is truly concerned about what happened to his daughter, instead of getting his face on tv all the time, doing nothing more than harm to the whole case! Even Jug has obviously decided not to go on with this crusade, especially since he asked his governor NOT to boycott Aruba.

All I am saying is Dave continuing to work w the Arubans is futile. Beth is taking the right approach

Of course, in the US, since Beth is obviously the custodial parent, US authorities would have to go to her, first.

I bear no ill will towards Dave, but, he will never find what happened to Natalee or get justice continuing to deal w Aruban authorities.

Dave Holloway alone has the probity to request that the Dutch Gov't investigate the possibility of collusion between Paul VDS and the Police Dept. IMO, there is no point in treating the Aruban aparatus seriously - the island is a cesspool of 'special relationships' that must be cleansed from the outside, i.e., by officials from the Mother Country, and there is no way Natalee could have disappeared so completely without the help of professionals trained in dealing with crime scene evidence.

- 'Hank' are you kidding?! How many people have disappeared without a trace in the US?! Was there a conspiracy of "professionals trained in dealing with crime scene evidence" in those cases? Children disappear from their bedrooms. College students don't make it back to their dorm rooms. Adults don't make it back to their cars. Think rationally, these things can and do happen everywhere. It hardly indicates, much less proves, a conspiracy.

Lastly, self-governing and autonomous mean just that. Holland is only responsible for foreign affairs such as defense. You need a far better understanding of what a "Mother Country" is and how Aruba operates in reality, because apparently, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
