If that link doesn't work - try here and scroll down. And go here for a larger text round-up via CNN - the Cadaver News Network.

Cadaver News Network? NO intended lol
sorry couldn't pass it up. :O

oops no pun intended

I saw the video, that is despicable!! CNN will stop at nothing to get a story.

Where is the video? All I saw was the government blocking the views of reporters and illegally violating a court order. Never showed any bodies.

I think that is the point. cnn named it as a "grim video" link so that people would see what actually happened when cnn tried to film a real grim task. Just more lies and mis-direction by the fabulous news agency. cnn was insulted, but not nearly as badly has we are!

To hell with boycott Aruba!!!! Boycott CNN..most disgusting thing I have ever seen...why does CNN think we want to see bodies of poor souls killed by this disaster. What about their families that could be watching....I would have shot them and then declared insanity at the insane idea.

Look guys...
You are missing the point of this whole thing. While I am not eager to see dead bodies, I also see the potential danger of having government able to stifle all news coverage of a particular event. That is more dangerous than the airing of a body.
While sensationalism by CNN, or anyone else is wrong, the idea that a free press is denied access, despite a court order is more alarming.

Again, I am in agreement that CNN and others need to become more tasteful in what they show and do not show, but this is accomplished by us--the viewers, not by government decree.

Too many people have given up their personal responsibility to allow "the government" to do it for them. Don't know how many know history, but I can tell you for a fact. When the government gives you something, you will give back more in return. When the government acts freely, it is because you are not allowed to do so. When they tell YOU what to do instead of you telling them--there is a serious problem, in a "free" country.

It is our responsibility to thwart CNN or whoever, not the government, in fact this type of action by government is illegal, and totally violates the first amendment. You cannot allow the first amendment for you and I here on this board, and deny it to someone else because you or I do not like what they have to say. If so, they can deny you or I the same right, right here on this board. Think it can't happen? Think again.

I cannot believe people do not recognize the danger in what happens when government is allowed to act in secret.

I'm with on this...as many conservatives think other wise, I too agree with Gov Blanco, The dead "deserve more respect than they have received,"

as americans, so do we, you know the saying, "The Truth shall set you free"
I strongly believe in and support the 1st amendment and CNN video is just another example of what is being taken away from free speech, its another embarrassment to the US gov't. The great thing about this people, you also have the choice of not watching it;)

I happened to be "flippping) and see that and wondered what the heck was going on, who made that decision, and why. I still would like to know.

The great thing about this people, you also have the choice of not watching it;)

On the money flo! Those who do not like what a station aires have several avenues open besides government power.
1. turn the channel
2. protest verbally and in writing
3. organize a boycott of the sponsors of the crap
4. Promote good journalism whenever possible.
5. promote an ethics code that would police the type of things visually seen. This way, the organization polices themselves and you don't have the rest of the first amendment slaughtered for all the rest of the nation.

Remember, if you use the government to censor what you don't like, then someone else might not like what you DO like--and would you whine if THAT were censored?

Cnn is under new orders. It's told its anchors to get angry. It told a guest the he should get angry.

They are desperate. all about the ratings.

Maybe they are Frank, but we had all better be more desperate, for obvious reasons.
