News came in from a reliable source in Aruba that a major dig attended by police and firefighters was going on at the location the Kalpoe brothers were said to have left Natalee Hollway and Joran Van der Sloot on the night of her disappearance.

Is Natalee now considered a missing person?
If so should not she be listed as so, with the FBI and in Aruba? And why the digging if there is not enough evidence to detain?

I have been watching this blog for 4 months now and i think i can objectively say something.
The Aruba i remember (YRS 1975-1978)was beautiful.People were innocent back then.Just like every nation morales and value systems have changed. My belief is that Many people know the truth on that island not just those involved.Small islands have gossip people talk. This has been a major coverup from the highest officals.Paulos,Joran, kalpoe bro and co you have destroyed Aruba reputation. Why do you continue to torture Holloway Twitty family?Let me say this every man stands before God on judgement day you will not be able to worm your way out of that one.The torture you are putting the family through is only temporary (THIS EARTH ONLY)but your torture in hell will be for ETERNITY.Just because you don't believe in God, J-Day or continuation of life doesn't mean it does not exist. Please tell the truth, ask for forgiveness and get on with your lives.
Prayers and strength to the family.
Thank you Dan for a great job!
Thank you bloggers for keeping Natalee alive.

So, CDB, that would make today YOUR little (passing)judgement day. So that must also make you today's little God!
How exciting for you!

Thanks Dan for this blog.
I can only hope that somehow someway, the truth will be known. Natalee was a kind spirit, with a bright future ahead of her. To have that vanish, with no clues is the absolute worst thing I could imagine for any parent.
I don't fault the people of Aruba, but I do feel that LE there is possibly the most inept LE on earth. The suspects may be free, but they will never live this down. They will never be able to forget.
I hope and pray that Beth and family find peace and resolution.

So, is Freddy still in jail?
Posted by: moosetracks | Sunday, September 04, 2005 at 09:55 AM
The message is clear. For some reason the Aruban Judiciary and government do not want the truth to come out......
Posted by: rabroy | Sep 4, 2005 7:01:42 AM
This could possibly be true. Time will tell that after a month passes, she is found and another cover up will make it seem that she is at fault and the four suspects are freed. It is possible that they know exactly where she is right now. All of this being done because of PVDS being so well liked and connected to the people in the high places who are able to pull this off.
The good people of Aruba will have to accept this because this is where they live/work and they want peace and safety. BUT the "would be" tourists do not have to accept this should it happen. The tourism board thinks all will go back like it was, "a happy little island".
I hope Beth comes home to Alabama and spills her guts on all she knows so we Americans and other tourists can make an informed decision if we ever choose to travel to this "happy little island".
Aruban Authorities may think it will be perfectly fine to turn Natalee over to the Holloway-Twitty Families in another month. Let the suspects be freed from all of this and we wonderfully find Natalee and make it look like it is her own fault and at the same time pull the wool over the Aruban people. After what I have read and seen over the last 98 days, this is a possibility.

Last evening on "scared monkeys" they posted BHT statement regarding release; also statement by Joran's parents, although he didn't speak...his lawyer is quoted as saying Joran will be leaving for Holland (the circumstances of the release, were that he had to stay within Dutch territories and the "judge trusts Joran to go to Holland" for college....salt in the wound? Can anyone verify this? The prosecutor's had no response (surprise?!!!) Since Dan did not post any of this, I am leary of accuracy...but very disappointed if true........danie

Just read same info on Hyscience....also provide AP release stating that the "boys" must stay only within the "Netherlands", not just Aruba...unbelievable; have to agree with others regarding dig; interesting also that the media is justifiably focused on New Orleans and Mississippi; how very sad for the family. Anyone have any other info...please share. thanks...danie

I do imagine that if Beth had anything to spill her guts about, that she would have done it well before now.
Mulder,
People are concerned here about Natalee.
Not your bashing poetry.
Sure your name isn't Vincent, and your doing double posting??

You all dont understand.....the judge saying Joran is free to travel to the Netherlands means he can go anywhere in Europe.....as the EU allows travel between EU countries without passport or border checks. He could go to some Eastern European country and never be forced to return to Aruba if charged again
He should not be allowed to leave Aruba, period. This is more Aruba coverup. Only dumb Americans who "love Aruba" will think Joran is being punished by only being allowed to go to the Netherlands.
I feel for the HT families. This is a travesty.
Unfortunately our world values criminals over victims. Until we value victims over criminals then we will have the resolve to do the right thing.

Do say. Where was the judge May 30? Where was his kids. INTERPOL never sleeps.

One thing I think we can be assured of is that Juran will be busy date-raping other women whether it's in Holland or Aruba. Yeah, he had a little brush with the law this summer, but he got away with it.
Sad thing is there are thousands, if not millions of Jurans out there evrywhere. We need to educate young women to smarten up and protect themselves. I'm sure Natalee never thought it could happen to her, just like so many young women. The sad reality is that it can and does and far too often the men responsible get awaw with it.
I only hope that the Holloway and Twitty families will find peace and know that Natalee loved them as much as they love her.

I heard early on that the prosecutor said how can I arrest my best friend's son. I think she has been working hard to find a way to let urine go free. Has anyone heard about the arm, second duct tape and belt? I read this blog all the time cause I know it is accurate. Thanks Dan

Oh Danie I SO got that read and rubbing salt with that statement he is "free to come and go as he pleases" by his own judgement. He is trusted. Yeah, shake that salt a little harder.

I'm willing to accept the prosecutor does not have sufficient evidence of foul play. There are possible solutions to this mystery, that may not involve the trio - and perhaps they will now be explored.
Posted by: berry | Sunday, September 04, 2005 at 04:36 PM
Because you sure didn't manage to say it.
Posted by: clintcarter | Sep 4, 2005 5:41:13 AM
But I did manage to say it:
Yes this came from the U.S.A. and remember,
We Don't Forget.
SO REMEMBER THAT VERSION PUNK BOYS!
There, I've managed to say it again.

Jean - I heard a few days ago the arm was not even human(i believe it was Nancy Grace)...the duct tape and the belt seem to have gone the way of other so called "evidence"...never heard another word. So very sad for family with these latest events....if it's true that prosecutor stated "how can i arrest my best friend's son", well, just when you think you've heard it all...still find it interesting these latest developments occurred while media was justifiably preoccupied with other matters...probably wouldn't have made a difference; how does that judge sleep at night? i'd bet my life he does not have a daughter....danie

QUOTE: "I heard a few days ago the arm was not even human(i believe it was Nancy Grace)..."
That's odd! I just saw Nancy Grace on Friday and she didn't seem to be missing an arm! I'm pretty certain. I saw her "flailing" both her "arms" as she customarily does in her "affectated" manner as she dribbled from her snarling mouth. We must not jump to conclude it's hers just because it's not "human." :)

I don't get it. She got drunk and drowned. Natural selection surely?

Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defence.
No one shall be held guilty of any penal offense on account of any act or omission which did not constitute a penal offense, under national or international law, at the time it was committed. Nor shall a heavier penalty be imposed than the one that was applicable at the time the penal offense was committed.

It was the Police Commissioner, Van der Stratten that said I cannot arrest Joran because he is my best friends son. However, Greta Van Susteran said she could find no evidence of such a comment, but every other reporter did. As for the belt, the investigator that found it said the police looked at it and did not send it to the lab in Holland because in their opinions the belt was to old to be the same belt in the picture of Joran playing Abu Ghrab Prison Guard. The arm was determined to be that of some other animal but the public was never told what it was. And Freddy has now been secretly released. So what are they digging for, Its All for Damn Show. Now that Joran is going to school in Holland maybe they can send future evidence to him for analysis. It is time for America to Speak through the best weapon in this case BOYCOTT ARUBA. The people of Aruba sre supposed to be free. If so they have the power of self determination and if that is the case they can force the government to either sove the case or set up reforms that will see that the same type of situation never occurs again. You all do know that their have been four disappearnces in Aruba since 1998 including Natalee Holloway and none of them were solved that means they were all considered missing person cases in the end and not counted as crimes in Aruba. No wonder
Aruba has a low crime rate they are 0 for 4 in kidnapping, rape and murder cases. At least we have a percentage of solved cases in this type of case in the good old USA. Think about it.

I saw a TV ad from Aruba saying children who travel with their parents do not have to pay a dime in the island. After all this, would you go??? Me neither.
