I just wanted to send a big thank you to everybody for
blogging, the assistance that you might have given to
the American Red Cross or your local churches. Enough
can not be said of what the churches did. Whatever
denomination you are, be proud of your church down
here.
I am especially grateful to those of you who stood up
for President Bush while he took a barrage of
unjustifiable and extremely radical criticisms.
We know our local government let us down. If a house
catches fire with a child still in it, do you call 911
and then make an attempt to save the child, or do you
keep calling 911 and then rush to the cameras and
complain that 911 still hasn't came and there is a
child dying inside?
Until the Feds got here, Kathleen Blanco was supposed
to be in charge. Yet, she continued to complain that
the President wasn't here. Once the President got
here, she wanted to be in charge. Go figure.
