Aug. 22, 2005 — Sororities and fraternities at the University of Alabama are hanging yellow ribbons across campus, honoring one teenager who will not be attending her first day of college classes this Wednesday. Natalee Holloway disappeared on a high school graduation trip to Aruba on May 30. Her mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, spoke to "Good Morning America" about school starting without her daughter.
"It angers me when I realize Natalee has this life before her and she's not able to be in it," she said.
"We're just so hurt." Holloway's spot is being held at the University of Alabama and she has a room and a roommate waiting for her.

Very painful situation.
Makes even hardened men cry.

That one hits home. **sigh** Immediately, realizing the horrible emptiness the Holloway/Twitty families and friends must feel right now..

This is difficult. I bet that football game on Friday night was tough too, when all the dance team came out on the field and Natalee was nowhere, not even in the stands cheering them on.

It sure must be so difficult for the University, the room mate, the football team to be without the honored member of the team. I hope they will be able to cope after all this is the first time someone has gone missing in America oops I forgot the runaway bride who got found after she was supposed to have got kidnapped by some "mexicans" i think.....well look at the bright side there is a poor kid sitting in jail in aruba as well...his future is being messed up as well. Look at the brighter side "someone" instantly became famous and now has interviews on "Fox TV" and "Good Morning America" The book and movie will follow soon I guess.

Natalya,
You are beneath contempt. Please tell me what country you live in so I can avoid it.

NATALYA. Somehow,I think you are right, except no none wants to be in that situation. It's not worth it.

Nat, Nat, Nat, what is wrong with you? If you do not care about this young lady then don't bother joining in on the blogs. Go elsewhere and spread your evil....

It's very supportive of the University to remember a young woman who never attended - but planned to.
There is still hope.

It is stated that Natalee's passport was in her room with her bags where anyone who walked by could pick it up. Maid, boyfriend of another roommate, security guy with keys to the rooms.
I thought the so called chaperones were holding all the passposts till they were ready to leave. They took them, it was stated, when the kids arrived at the HI. Why did they give them out before they left?
Is it true that the passpost was in Natalee's room. If so, Why? Not too smart if all the kids were drinking that night.

By design, always posting the wrong things on the board, wrong time, wrong place....just to create a little speculation and misinformation.

What he meant:
"Dan, get a rope. It's time for the hanging"
What's the matter Justice4all? Aren't there any lynchings for you to go to today.

I sent this to the address posted under Natalya;
Someone is using your email address and posting very ignorant and hateful messages on the Internet for everyone, including the family and friends of Ms. Holloway to view. I thought you might want to go there and defend yourself from this heartless moron.
Take That!!

I just find it so strange that people keep talking as though she is alive. I realize it is conceivable. But it is so very unlikely.
Why do people keep saying things like they are holding her room, and a roomate is waiting for her. Is this cruel already to keep saying things like this?

Those of you insinuating that Beth is happy about her "fame" from losing her only daughter at the young age of 18.......get the FU#* over it......you are a bunch od idiots. You think you are some freaking intelectual because you go against the "norm" and act like you know something.....you don't know shit! I hope that you don't ever have to be in a situation like that....because KARMA IS A BITCH!!!!!

I agree with you Teacher that it is insane to think Beth is getting any pleasure out of any of this. I'm sure she is extremely sad.
I think people are really weary of her endless demands and agressiveness. Oh I know that a mom will and should fight for her child this way. But the fact that Natalee has been given such priority bothers many people, understandably.
Many, many people are listed as missing persons.
