Good points satchmo.

Lincoln's government didn't pass the Emancipation Proclamation until 1863. IF the war was being fought over slavery, that would have happened in 1861. However, the north was growing tired of the war, and as you stated, the possibility of French intervention caused him to free the slaves. There was abosolutely nothing "noble" about Lincoln. He was a pawn in the hands of the same cabal that put presidents into office today. Nothing has changed except for the fact that it is now the entire way of American life that is under assault--not from without--from within. (except Ron Paul, of course)

"Lame. the bulk of the military is made up of Lynndie England types. If they weren't in the military they would be unemployed or working the third-shift stocking shelves at Walmart. Even here in America, when they get off-base they do little more than get drunk and look for a 'fag' to beat up."
gegee

No, your post is lame.
ALL soldiers are not as you characterize, in fact, I doubt whether they are even 1% of the total force. These guys believe the lies of the government, and many truly believe they are doing the right thing. It is when civilians do not understand the true reasons for war that they are misused. CIVILIANS decide where and when they die--not the military. These CIVILIANS are both from the so called "conservatives" and the "liberals" as well. The so called "conservatives" are nothing more than the Nazi's were, and the so called "liberals" are no different from the communists. They both end up in a totalitarian system...and guess who loses? Those who know the difference. There are few Americans around who know the difference.

To attack the soldier is ludicrous. If you want to attack somebody, attack the criminals that sent them there.

Sorry you folks are so caught up in nonsense it's not worth discussing. I swear, I don't know where you get it. Fox I guess. So much of it is simply not true.

By the way, had a chat with Deepak yesterday, he looked me right in the eye the entire time. ...

I really doubt they will find anything shady in their past, because to get a permit to live and work in Aruba, one must have a record of good conduct from the police of the home country and then the local authorities check it out.

Imagination, outlandish gossip, personal experience & bias, agitprop like we get here, who knows - but not foxnews. Greta's a sound reporter, background as a lawyer, taught law. Not biased. What she shows is what folks do/say.

That's interesting about Deepak. I've been thinking, he's all of 21. Any of them old enough to be dumb kids/young men.

That's my argument that given the probable time they had to dispose of Natalee & that it's a small island, there is at least one other, older & more experienced.

I think Cindy has EVERY RIGHT to protest and I AGREE WITH HER 1000% Our preident went storming into Iraq to prove apoint about 9-11 when Iraq had nothing to do with it....so far the Iraq war has done nothing to ease terrorism - it only seems to get worse and all it has done is get our men and women killed not to mention the men women and children unlucky enough to be within the fighting........she is not disrespecting our troops - she is supporting them by wishing them to be able to come home safely and stop being killed for our president's ego trip. Not only did he have no cause or evidence to go over there with he did against the warning we were up against far too much.....and on top of that left our troops over there without the proper equipment to protect themselves while he sits comfortably in the white house making the decision to not allow them to pull out early. I for one am sick of his speeches and "tough stance" when he himself goes over there and joins the fighting and risks his life we can talk - until then I hope Cindy keep going and her family should be ashamed of themselves - she lost her son!!!!!

and for everyone who keeps saying the military mena nd women go in by choice - sometimes it is NOT a choice - they go in because they think they can have a secure income and housing and healthcare for their spouses and children or they go in because they see no other prospects in life for themselves or they want money to go to college..............it isn't always such a fair choice -

I guess I just want to say - GET OVER IT!!! None of these ramblings are going to sway the president's mind. He is bent on staying in Iraq until the end of his presidency - I have no doubt. Wait until the next elected offical comes on board and then maybe those of you who want the military back home safe in America will get their wish. I just think that everyone should be praying for God's will to be done and His will to be accomplished. He can override any president and He has not yet (if you believe in God). I personally believe the president has the best intentions but we SEEM to believe that he makes all final decisions....not so. Who on this board is FBI/CIA/etc? We have no clue on the type of intelligence he is briefed with. He probably could not sleep knowing he withdrew troops when he has personal knowledge otherwise. I did not agree with Clinton but I did not go out protesting at his vacation spot. I may not have lost a loved one but according to everyone we have the freedom of speech to express ourselves in any situation. I just think we all need to get over it and hope for the best.

The one thing I would say about this women is at least she raised a child who was willing to fight and die for his beliefs. Can your parents say that?

I just think we all need to get over it and hope for the best.

easy to say...are any of your children over there?

Military jargon, probably pre-WWI

SNAFU situation normal - all f*d up

FUBAR f*d up beyond all repair

Useless Info:
My folks have been military in what's now USA since long before there was one.

Everybody can find things to do in and for their community. I like delivering Meals on Wheels. Ya meet the neigbors, make new friends, check up on old folks, get lots of opportunities to ask about things in the really olden days before they take 'em away to nursing homes or something.

Most may not think of it, but there are living pioneers when you think of some areas. New Mexico and Arizona became States in 1912. I still run into people that think NM's a foreign country, something to do with Mexico.

oops wrong forum.

What I have to say on this one is that as usual she's short on background info.

Amen to Letfreedomring! Your posting of Andy's rendering of a letter from Casey to his mom his on target with my thoughts...exactly in fact.

I respect Cindy's right as a mother and she needs to do whatever she feels is right for her, so long as it stays within the law.

However....on a personal level, I feel her grief has taken over her good judgement. Her son was obviously proud to be military and she should honor this pride and dedication.

It is because of men like Casey that Cindy is free!

melanie

This lady lost her son, if this is what she needs to do to grieve for her son and have peace of mind let her do it. Remember the guy who set himself on fire after hearing his Marine son died in Iraq, each person grieves differently some silently some verbally and some violently hurting themselves.
I don't see what harm it would do for the President to go out shake her hand and say,” I am sorry for your lost your son was hero. I am proud to have been his commander in chief.” That maybe what she wants to hear from Mr. Bush, if not have the cameras turned off invite her in and give her some tea, listen to her then send her on her way. I am not sure why Mr. Bush or Ms Bush will not speak with the parents of the fallen soldiers, to me its their duty to speak to each and everyone of those soldier’s parents. It is the least they can do. If he doesn’t have the time have Ms. Bush or the twins step up to the plate.
On a similar note, Ms Bush had her security remove a guest from a dinner she was attending, what did the lady do to get removed, she asked Ms Bush, the same thing Ms Sheehan did. “Why did her son die?” I guess sometimes sitting there and listening to the party line is not a good enough answer you just want to hear in one on one.
I think I know why the president and his wife do not care to speak one on one with these mothers of the fallen. To me it sitting on the outside of it all, appears that there is some guilt feelings on the part of the Bushes. As you know their daughters are always out there helping the country with their partying. I guess it plays on their minds their own children don’t have the high standards and personal convictions it takes to be an American Hero like the fallen soldiers. They would feel embarrassed in front of the hero’s mother if she asked what the twins were doing for their country these days.
We all promote our own personal agenda or views, when is that a crime. So let the woman grieve and stop calling her name and point fingers at the liberal boogie men or women…
Just my two cents…

And it is because of Mom's like Cindy that hopefully fewer sons like Casey will die in a war that has NOTHING to do with Freedom in America.
For most of the world Freedom means the freedom from oppression. Why is it that so many Americans think freedom is the right to do what they like?
All this (literally) bloody nonsense about how the soldiers in Iraq are dying for US and to keep free those not willing to put their life on the line. What self-serving superficial cr*p.

Iraq did not attack tyhe U.S. Iraq did not bomb the WTC. Iraq has no history of terrorism on our soil.
But our soldiers are over there fighting for our Freedom? What Freedoms exactly are we supporting by invading a sovereign state that has not attacked us? I would have eagerly joined a squad to take out Hussein; i hate murderous bullies. But this ungodly mess we Lied and Deceived to promote and now claim is still OK because we're helping keep America safe with a strike-first agenda? No Way Will This Halt Terrorism. If you think otherwise, Prove It!

And now our pig-headed president is making us out to be the murderous bullies.

And don't tell me these soldiers are dying so I can be Free. Nonsense. What does this war have to do with American's being free? They're dying to support an egomaniac's desire for a wartime legacy; an illegal undeclared wartime.
While his buddies rake in the big$$ that war pumps into their U.S. economy at the expense of the lives of the mostly young and poor.

It takes no guts whatsoever to get behind an increasingly elitist leader and say "you go, boy!. Yay, USA!! Kill them foreigners!" Get out from behind those apron strings and stand against this unethical alienating invasion.
That's where the guts are needed.

You go Cindy Sheehan. You have earned the Right to speak loud and proud. Support The Troops! Bring them home alive!

Good points Clint.
Isn't it interesting that these who say we're fighting for "freedom" do not want to allow Cindy to have hers?
Freedom, folks, especially under our system IS the right to protest. It IS the right to have an audience with your SERVANTS who you have now elevated themselves to masters. Get off your slave mentality, and judge yourselves worthy of being their equal, and for the most part, their better.

This idea you all have that Bush is a God planted "leader" is ludicrous. He broke the law when he invaded Afghanistan and Iraq. We are not fighting for "freedom." We are fighting for oil, of which you and I will see NO positive results--just go to the gas pump. Profits, folks, profits. PERIOD. It is a game and a scam. One need only have some iota of common sense to see it.
IF Bush was concerned about "terrorists" then the FIRST thing he would ahve done is close off illegal immigration--NOT try to give them amnesty to encourage more.
Secondly, if the "terrorists" were really trying to do damage, they would not be blowing up civilians, they would be blowing up oil wells and pipelines. Anyone with a brain knows that if they wanted to hurt us or those in charge of the governments in those nations--the oil wells would be FIRST priority.

Lastly, the "patriot" act, which stinks to high hell. It ELIMINATES your Bill of Rights. Read the damned thing before you come in here rah-rah go USA. You are being led by your nose right into a totalitarian system. Wake up. Heck, if 175,000 well armed soldiers can't stop terrorism in Iraq, what the hell do you think the "patriot" act will do? NOTHING--but steal YOUR freedom. Okay, now you can go back to sleep.

I've lived in a military community for over a decade and a half. What you have stated is not true.

Most of them CHOSE---and it certainly WASN'T the pay (smile)!!!

Hey Cindy, ignore these rightwing crackheads and go on with your wonderful action.
You have the support of millions of people in the US and around the world who would like to stop this goddamn war!

Go and visit http://www.afterdowningstreet.org to support Cindy!!

Until this week, I believed George Bush had some decent bones in his body. His cruel, cavalier attitude towards Cindy Sheehan confirms what I feared more and more these days: that the liberal left might actually know what they are talking about for once, and it was I who have been too misguided and ready to believe our nation's leaders.
His indifference to Mrs. Sheehan is the final straw, but the other gathering straws were his administration's insistence that coffins returning home not be allowed to be filmed and his refusal to attend the funerals of any of our fallen soldiers. George Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld, NONE of them, have attended even one funeral of our dearly departed soldiers. This is inexcusable to me and has forever altered my once high view of the Bush family and administration. I now believe we have cold-hearted killers in the White House. Period.

If you are in the 5-8% of this country that served, or have kids serving, I have no beef with you on this one...if you love Bush, go right ahead.

On the otherhand, if you are a chickenhawk, like Bushy, Rummy, Dicky and the rest, any argument you have against this poor woman is morally bankrupt and plain sad, and outright fascist (not Nazi fascist, but plain old fascist), and completely out of touch with the majority of America. Especially to believe this unsigned (no names - couldn't you get a clue) letter!

I liked you all better when you were muttering under a rock.

New Creature I don't know what military compond or when you were there but unless it was WWII era you are suspiciously ingenuous about the reasons many young people join the Armed Forces. They do get housing, they do get tuition, they do get healthcare; and they very well may not have other options that provide those things.

Do you believe that most of our infantry come from the poorer classes because that's where the most patriotism is?
I didn't think so. Rah, rah, sis boom Bah!

If more Americans got their pseudo-superior (I live here, therfore I'm a superior person??)noses out of the air and looked at the $$$$$$$$$ involved not only in our current conflict but in our need to be war-like in order to make $$$$$$$ the world and the USA would be on the road to being a better place.

Think I'm an America basher? Wrong. The America bashers are the ones who don't care if we come across as the Ugly Americans; who don't care what happens elsewhere as long as we get our way; who help foster hatred of us with a pompous holier-than-thou attitude.

I'm an America Builder. Fighting for What's Right for America. Building my daughter's future in a country that must align itself with more of the rest of the World in order to prosper in health.

"WakeUpAmerica", You wrote:

"Whatever your politics, this woman has a right to peacefully assemble and state her case, as you are all doing here".

Absolutely true. She has that right. And others have the right to disagree. So bashing people who disagree with her politics is sort of the same thing. And there is a lot of that going on here.

One poster made this statement: "My take is that people who are willing to do the bidding of corrupt governments like ours are deserving of scorn, not support and adoration".

Come on people. Is that intelligent discourse? Or some twenty-somthing's need to sling the manure? If a person disagrees, argure a point! Don't just sling around accusations and belittle fellow Americans.

We can disagree and still treat one another like human beings.

I'm SICK of people dumping their hate on this grieving mother. Unless you've actually lost a child and buried him/her, you cannot imagine the anguish. You don't EVER "get over" losing a child.

She is in pain. Her so-called "family" should SHUT UP and allow her to grieve in her own way. Whether you support this war or not, this mother has a RIGHT to grieve for her son in whatever way she deems appropriate. If you are NOT in her shoes, then SHUT UP.

Yes, this sounds harsh. But I am APPALLED at the people who dump on this woman. The pain of losing a child is like NO OTHER pain there is. GET OFF HER BACK.

clint carter- i don't think you are an "american basher". if i made any such implication, i apologize.

no, i was not around during wwII. i live in a military communtiy now. my husband is overseas. as are many of my close friends, and parents of my child's friends. it is an interesting life we live. i'm grateful for it.

possibly since we are older (not teens and twenties), and my husband joined the service during the first gulf war, and has been through many police actions, and rescue missions, i have a less volitile view of this way of life.

my husband, as well as many of our friends and family, had other options. he was working for united airlines when he chose to serve in the military as opposed to going to college like his big brother. his parents were financially capable of paying for his education. mother is a therapist, father a physician. sharp guy, scores in the top 1% in the army.

so maybe i get a little defensive when others make accusations regarding the one i know more intimately than anyone else in the world, and the friends and family we hold so valuable.

my husband is a soldier, a father (who's not afraid to play barbies with his daughter in his boots and bdu's), the son of a mother and father who oppose the war, but love and honor and respect their son, and the husband of one who thinks he's fantastic and amazing in so many wonderful ways.

when people protest on t.v., i will inevitably say something stupid like "those people...blah, blah, blah"! And you know what he says? he smiles and says- yeah, isn't it great? we can do that here? i've learned a lot from him. he's had his feet on the soil of many lands. he can see much more clearly than i.

no, i don't think i am holier-than-thou. i don't know where i may have sounded that way, but i'm sorry.

New Creature you deserve a better name...

Re: my rant I was only addressing you about the haven the Armed Forces Does provide for many who might not have such opportunities elsewhere.

The part about noses in the air was just a general gripe and the America-bashing part was not directed at you but was in anticipation of criticism from any direction. I guess I was being touchy befor eI had reason to be.

Best wishes to you and yours. /Brian

You need to check the answer to that yourself, and you will see that you are quite wrong.

New Creature I don't think I've come across you before but you are very Welcome. Thanks for your views.

This women is pathetic now. She saw the president when her son was killed. She was accepting of his death then and appreciative of his condolences.
How strange it is that some people are so weak that they can get sucked into wackos ways of thinking and their views. They are no more than hate mongers. It sad she got sucked in like this and has turned on the president as she has. I feel bad for her. It is ashame she is so weak minded and can not think for herself. Wonder how much Micheal Moore and others like him are paying her to do all this. What a shame.
I feel sad that her on died as I feel sad that all the other mothers across America are grieving as well. I feel sad for all the families of the 9-11 victims as well.

No one has a solution that are opposed to the presidents way of handing things. They just like to run their mouths and point fingers and criticize. How lame is that ? I am sick of hearing all the bullshit that goes around.
Totally disgusting. Damned if you do damned if you don't. Grow up people !

Most of the Cindy Sheehan quotes from that mtg. with the President have been taken out of context. Check it out. Do you have the resolve to be Right?

! You disagree with this mother's stand so she is weak-minded and a hate monger? How "grown up" of you.

"No One has a solution that are opposed to the president's way of handling things"? How convenient for you to think and say that. That lie makes all the rest of your rant possible, and yet it's not even true! How Goerge Bush of you!
Nothing is a solution until it has been proven to be so. And recent history has proven that inadequate armed intervention will Never quell a native uprising. Never. Bush's war on Terror is anything but that. It is a War so he can have a War.

Christ, even I have ideas about what to do. Read my early posts.

Please don't be so insulting if you can't even bring Truth and Logic to your argument. Emotion and fear don't cut it.

BTW, did you See Michael Moore's picture? I know he can be a blow-hard, but did you See his picture?
If you don't have serious questions after watching that Horror movie, you ain't alive.

"This women is pathetic now. She saw the president when her son was killed. She was accepting of his death then and appreciative of his condolences.

I can certainly see why you wouldn't put your name on this. The woman is pathetic? How do you know? All of you goose steppers love to chant about this war for "freedom" but when someone exercises EXACTLY that freedom you SAY you support, you condemn them. Aren't you a study in hypocrisy?

She is so "weak" to get "sucked in?" How is the death of her son being "sucked in?" She is a "hate monger?" and you are the one calling her "pathetic" and "weak?" How many sons have you lost? If you have are you parading around like a peacock about it, telling the world how wonderful it is?

Alexis De Toqueville once stated: "America is great, because America is good. When America ceases being good, she will cease being great."

Arrogant persons such as yourself, act like you pulled off 1776 by yourself, when, in fact you take exactly the OPPOSITE view that our founding fathers did. You are more closely akin to Adoplh's crew than Jefferson or Madison. America has ceased being great when arrogance displaced humility and honest pride. Honest pride doesn't have to scoff and parade. Actions speak louder than the arrogant words of losers. REAL Americans would never support illegal "wars" against an adjective instead of something concrete like a country. All they need do is change the definition of "terrorist" to suit their purposes and you just might be the next one they assault. Wouldn't it be better if your government obeyed the Constitution instead of running roughshod over it---and you at the same time? No, we are falling from grace, and from greatness due to a weak national presence. Unfortunately, we will all pay.

As long as this woman is not breaking the law, by harming the person or property of anyone, then she can do as she pleases. Whether you like it or not is--TOTALLY irrelevant. But...please...quit chanting the chant that our "troops are fighting for freedom" when you seek to deny those very freedoms to our own citizens. Talk about pathetic? Talk about weak? Mirrors are something you might want to do a study in.

BTW--Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. We all know that. Lame excuse to bash this woman.

Solution to the president's way of handling what? A war he started? Like we all know--Iraq had nothing to do with it. WE put Saddam in power. IF we wanted him out, we could have done that too--without our soldiers dying for it. BTW, we put Castro and Mao in power too. So you want to invade China and Cuba?

GET A LIFE, GET A CLUE ! DISGUSTING. GO HUG A TREE!!

DAMN!!!

! or is it ?

Not sure. Really like the intelligent discourse. It is amazing how strongly you support your own position with facts.
Please, by all means, if you ever find any come on back.

I have a life. I don't need clues because I know the facts, and I do like to sit in a tree to deer hunt.

As for digusting. I guess if I couldn't answer someone with an intelligent response then maybe I would do the name calling too---but....that will never happen. I am not foolish enough to spout off about that which I know nothing about.

But...I guess if you only talked about that which you knew for a fact, you wouldn't be able to say anything at all. Sooo....good bye !!!!!!!! (Hope you discover your name!)

Oh, how I long for the days when Natalee Holloway was alive...and the barking moonbats didn't crap all over the carpet here with their Michael Moore-on talking points...

What a bunch of clowns. Alamo, you talk big shit demanding facts, when you think "facts" are only what you say--and your "facts" are positively nothing more than Kool-Aid drenched opinion. Do you even read what YOU write? Why should "!" or anyone else bother answering you? "!" had it right; get a life and a clue.

This past Tuesday evening, a 19 yr old friend of my daughter was killed in Iraq. Beside him, a 31 yr old Philadelphia police officer who, promised this young mans father, he would always be at his son's side. They were killed together, side by side. After we got word here at home, I wrote to a close friend in the Airforce. Below are his words to.

Dear Sinn,
Pass on to your kids that here was a"Man" who was involved in a task larger
than himself. He was making a statement with his life. Honor him, cry for
him, but don't dwell on his death as a negative.
Everyone in this country is at war but only a few truly understand. We in
the military accept when we raise our hand that we may give our life. Its
part of the job.
Look at his commitment and use it to move forward in your life. Nate would
be honored daily if everyone did this.

GOD bless you and those you love.
Sounds like a wonderful man, not too many of those left in the world today.

Beth,

Heres my wish for you sweetie. That you wake up tomorrow as one of the poorest of the poor in America, and its 2012 and Bush has managed to change the supreme court, so you wake up at 5am to go to the first of your 3 jobs, but on the way to the bus you are raped and become pregnant , but because you are "pro-life" you are forced to carry the rapist's baby to term since roewade has been overturned. BTW, you don't have health insurance and Bush changed the bankruptcy laws so you can't declare bankruptcy for your mounting medical bills. Have a wonderful life .

Since the conservative right has re-entered the debate and has called for facts, I have sided with them. The following is a list of post Vietnam combat deaths:

Place Dates Casualties
Lebanon Aug. 1982–Feb. 1984 254
Grenada Oct.–Nov. 1983 18
Libya April 10–16, 1986 2
Panama Dec. 1989–Jan. 1990 23
Persian Gulf Jan. 16–April 6, 1991 147
Somalia Dec. 1992–May 1993 29
Haiti Sept. 1994–April 1996 4
Former Yugoslavia 1992–2001 9
Kosovo March–June 1999 2
Afghanistan Oct. 2001–2 99
Iraq March 20, 2003–3 1,365 //from an old wedsite

Any of our Iraqi war supporters not support any of these wars/conflict? If so why?

GOD BLESS OUR PRESIDENTS ! WHOMEVER THEY ARE AND WHATEVER YEAR THEY SERVE AND WHATEVER PARTY THEY ARE. WHO CARES ! THEY ARE OUR PRESIDENTS ! WE AS A COUNTRY SHOUDL RESPECT THEM ALL. BEING PRESIDENT OF THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD IS CERTAINLY NOT AN EASY JOB ! PLEASING ALL THE PEOPLE ALL THE TIME IS NOT AN EASY JOB EITHER !

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS ALL OVER THE WORLD ! TODAY AND EVERYDAY !!

GOD BLESS AMERICA ! ALWAYS AND FORVER !

PEACE BE TO ALL !!

Peace be to all.

Amendment I to the Constitution guarantees her right to peaceably assemble and to petition the government with her grievances. Assuming she is being manipulated by the far left is just that, an assumption. Perhaps her assertions should be taken at face value. Accusing her of dishonoring her son or using his death to accelerate a political agenda are disingenuous arguments that can be heard on any far right radio program. By that standard, Megan's Law or the Amber Alert are the exploitation of tragic deaths to further a political agenda. His death is political. The war is political. Tha maniacal rantings on both sides are political. Please tell me what noble cause Dear Leader is promoting as justification this week. Anyone fomenting negative opinion of Ms. Shhehan is also using politics to their advantage. The truth, as always, lies somewhere in the middle. Does anyone else wonder why the magnetic ribbons found on cars throughout this great country state the admonition, "Support the Troops", instead of "I Support the Troops"? Who among us, unlike Ms. Sheehan, her son, and their peers, has had to sacrifice anything for this war? Carpal tunnel syndrome does not count.

That's cute Beth. Kool aid drenched? Don't particularly like kool aid myself.
So, I see you are no different than the rest. Good mudslinger, but nothing of substance. Why don't you show us all how "dumb" I am by taking the things I have stated and PROVING them wrong with YOUR facts, instead of acting like a 2 year old with "kool aid" name calling?

You won't, of course, because you can't. You can't because you have absolutely no idea what I was talking about in the first place.

Followers like you are the reason this nation is in trouble. Whatever you hear on MSN IS YOU. You couldn't explain the difference between the 10th amendment and a tax bill could you?

In case you would like to take a shot with your FACTS, feel free. Why not start with the fact the our borders are wide open? Okay Beth show me how this is a lie.
How about GW Bush wanting to give the illegals amnesty. Okay Bether, show this as a lie.
How about the Iraq/Afghan war being illegal? Okay Beth show me the DECLARATION of War. (BTW--a "resolution" is NOT a declaration)
Hey Beth, how about this "conservative" supreme court ruling that they can take your house away to build a night club--if THEY want. Yeah that is truly American isn't it?
There is a lot more, of course, but go ahead Beth--show me up with your VAST left wing intelligence. We wait.

Alamo, funny you choose that name, as it appears here, you stand for noting but your own sorry ass!

September 11 for me was a wake up call. Do you know what I think the problem is? That a lot of the world woke up for a short time and then turned over and went back to sleep again." --British Prime Minister Tony Blair

Time for fools to wake up. Who gives a crap about money, the debt left to our children, we have had debt in the past which was passed on, we got through it. Only the ignorant cry.

"Our generational commitment to the advancement of freedom, especially in the Middle East, is now being tested and honored in Iraq," says President Bush. As we approach the fourth observance of 9/11, we can be sure that Pelosi, Reid, Kerry, Kennedy and their Leftist cadre will run a masterful campaign of disinformation. Such a campaign will surely test the resolve of the American people, and the Bush administration would be well advised to begin vigorously cultivating public support by forthrightly defining this mortal enemy.

if you believe the war against Jihadistan began, on 11 September 2001, taking into account that Jihadi attacks on Western targets date back to the 1960s, then it will likely continue for decades. After all, it took 70 years to topple the Evil Empire. This war did not start after 11, sept, it started, in 627 AD, five years after Islam's founding, when Mohammed committed his first genocide against a Jewish tribe, then the war is an epic struggle between Islam and other religions, especially against Jews and Christians, which is to say its conclusion is not foreseeable. If the war is an extension of the middle-age invasions of the West by rapacious Islam, whether the start date is the victory of Charles Martel at Tours (732 AD), the back and forth of Crusades (1095-1669) or defeats like Constantinople (1453 AD), the siege of Vienna (1529 AD), the fleet at Lepanto (1571 AD), or the gates Venice (1683 AD), then the war is a clash of civilizations which likely has centuries of conflict yet ahead.

Too not defend this war, simply shows ignorance, to scream this is about oil is ingnorance. Terrorist could give a damn about oil, if that were the case, they would have gained control of the oil fields in the middle east a very long time ago. They want your blood on their hands, plain and simple!

Well hi there Cindi, more names, I see. Very intelligent aren't you?

You guys are amazing. Chant, goose step, and names. Excellent exposition of who the "right" really is. (and no--I am not the "left"--don't need a label since I am an American that looks at issues rather than parroting tghe "right" or the "left"-both of which are pathetic in their own right.)

You, of course are like Beth, not disputing one point I have made but throwing up a bunch of mumbo jumbo rhetoric that holds not one iota substance.

So Cindi/Pa explain to me just HOW are these mean old terrists NOT interested in oil? When was your last conversation with them?
You show your military ignorance by such a statement. IF the terrorists were not in on this scam, then the VERY first thing they would do is take out the oil pipelines and wells. WHY? Not because they are particularly interested in oil, because it is a GUARANTEED way to further destabilize the countries involved. Of course you never thought of that though, did you?
Why? Because you haven't been told to think that from your boob tube.
Or is it all of your independent research that proves your point?
And your point is..............?
I know, I know...you will do your mudslinging right now...go ahead, you only show yourself to be what we already know.

WHY don't you and Beth team up? Hey, maybe ya'll could come up with something factual. Heck, if you go study together, you might come up with an answer to the questions I posed to Bether, above.
Na, not your style. You are better at name calling and innuendos.
Really, you better get off your mom's computer before she comes home and gives you a spanking.

If they want our blood, why don't we get the f*ck out of there then. Ummm, could it be.....oil? To not defend a preemptive strike against a sovereign, secular Arab nation that had never attacked us is surely intelligent in its design. If you truly consider this a war on Islam, then we attacked the wrong country. Our "allies" in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are the true hot beds of radical Islam, so your disingenuous arguement is as balanced as Bush on a Segway. Even the youth of Iran, who resent the totalitarianism of the Ayotollah regime (which, by the way had a democracy until we decided otherwise.... Here's something you can bet on: Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz will not hold a press conference this month to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the U.S.-led coup of the democratically elected leader of Iran -- Mohammed Mossadegh. Rice and Cheney won't hold a press conference to celebrate Operation Ajax, the CIA plot that overthrew the Mossadegh. That was 50 years ago this month, in August 1953. That's when Mossadegh was fed up with the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company -- now BP -- pumping Iran's oil and shipping the profits back home to the United Kingdom. And Mossadegh said -- hey, this is our oil, I think we'll keep it. And Winston Churchill said -- no you won't. Mossadegh nationalized the company -- the way the British were nationalizing their own vital industries at the time. But what's good for the UK is not good for Iran. If you fly out of Dulles Airport in Virginia, ever wonder what the word Dulles means? It stands for the Dulles family -- Secretary of State John Foster Dulles and his brother, the CIA director, Allen Dulles. They were responsible for the overthrow of the democratically elected leader of Iran. As was President Theodore Roosevelt's grandson, Kermit Roosevelt, the CIA agent who traveled to Iran to pull off the coup. This brought the US-allied dictator the Shah into power, which led to the revolution of 1979)are rejecting radical Islam. How many do you think have perhaps now had their positive view of the US destroyed by the attack on Iraq. Cindi, it appears as though you welcome a relgious war. And you consider this sane?

Oh, Cindi, Beth...one more thing.

When you come up with your answers to my facts....just leave them, I gotta go for awhile. I will be back later. I am sure you both will have the page filled with your answers to wide open borders, supreme court confiscation of private property, and illegal military ventures worldwide.
Man, I just can't want to see why these things are so wonderful for America.
Back later......study hard!

Yes, the American Taliban wants us in a relgious war. All religion is the root of all evil. Google "Pastor Arrested" and see how many hits you get. The BTK killer was the deacon of his church, for Christ's sake. Oops. Why is it that being a religio-crazy is never blamed on religion, but if they had found two porno mags under his bed, it would have been Larry Flynt's fault. If you truly feel we need the Middle East de-stabilized to fulfill Biblical prophecy, you are truly insane.

"Actually, people who believe, doubtlessly, in things like angels, heaven, Noah's ark, talking snakes, and giants, with no rational basis, no evidence, and a palpable disdain for empirical data marginalize themselves. Remember the 'Heaven's Gate' cult, the ones with the Air Jordans who all castrated and killed themselves because they thought they were going to wake up on a comet? When people made fun of them, were they being unfairly marginalized? No. They were just plain silly, because there was no logic or reason behind their beliefs. They'd just been talked into it, and anyone that gullible deserves to be ridiculed, or at least ignored. Well, the same is true of Christians, however many of them there are. 'That's what they told me' is simply not a respectable justification to believe something so strongly that you think others should be made to conform."
- Allan Uthman: In defense of stupidity -

Dear RELIGION BAD

Nice try. However, when they strike us again, your ass could go too. They do not give a damn if you are an athiest or a jew or a christian. They fail to see separation, you are not of their cult, you need to die.

Alamo
Closing our borders is NOT an option. And not one I would want to be a part of.

The way we protect our borders is through preventive and disruptive measures, by using investigative tools to learn as much as we can, as quickly as we can, and then incapacitating a target at the right moment."

I can just see the liberals crying out..........and the ACLU, bitching about rights being taken away!

While on the subject, who got their ass kicked at the Alamo?

=======================================================

Apparently, the only name attached to the "Sheehan Family" statement is Cherie Quartarolo who describes herself as Casey’s aunt, or more correctly, Casey’s second-cousin-twice-removed.

=======================================================

And Cindi,

That is how you feel about them. You and your relgious insanity. Where does it end? Armaggedon? Ugh.

That is how you feel about them. You and your relgious insanity. Where does it end? Armaggedon? Ugh.

Armaggedon? lmao, you really have to stop hanging with Jimmy Baker

......bitching about rights being taken away!

Cindi, why do you hate the Constitution?
