Sounds like maybe an office romance gone sour to me! But it WAS funny.

I don't know, TexasGal, did you catch that squeal in his voice toward the end there?

I am dealing with this type of hysterical insecure unprofessional and uncooperative male colleague myself. No office romance, just bullying behavior. It has to stop. It really looks bad on anyone. She was trying to make the weather report look exciting by asking a question. He attacked her unnecessarily. I think he owes her an apology and he and his supervisors need to figure out how to work with women. Women are here to stay and deserve to have a job where they are treated with respect. Studio needs to get him some diversity training and keep an eye on this behavior.

She wasa an idiot to interupt a meterologist. He was giving the news about a terrible storm. She wanted to take the lead. To hell with her. !

That and Shepard Smith getting cussed out were the only two funny things about this whole situation. I agree that Carol shouldn't have butted in. He was in the process of explaining what was happening and she wanted some attention. Irritating and inappropriate. The poor weather guy probably hadn't slept since yesterday. He did react like a little kid having a tantrum, though. Highly amusing all around.

I do appreciate the good laugh, Carol and Chad. Now go eat your humble pie!

So funny and unprofessional...CNN should dump both of them!
Noway there was ANY office romance between these two unless Chad stole one of Carol's dates! Can you say cccccccat fight.

I would be annoyed to. If she had given him a second to talk, he might have explained it..She had NO right to butt in there.>It was funny though!

Hahahaha! That was hilarious! She's a bit whiney, don't ya think???

She was asking him to clarify something he said. He overreacted because apparently women should not think or speak. I see it in this co-worker I work with. It's bullying behavior. I think the reaction I see that people enjoy this kind of tasteless rude behavior will just encourage more of it. That's why TV is going down the drain.

After watching the horror those poor people in New Orleans are going thru right now with the levee breached and water rising throut the city and people being rescued I cannot fault any weatherman now they see the devastation this storm has caused and continues to cause.
The President said FEMA has $5 BILLION and the devastation to date will be about $26 BILLION.
This is a disaster of epic proportions!!
