I am very sorry for any loyal people who will think me foolish for what I am about to do ... but I have always been committed to free speech. Now I will most likely have to implement software which will not prevent it, but be less encouraging of free discussion and debate. I felt you all deserved to know precisely why.

Also, if you have ever felt left out of a certain forum - this may give you some relief, as based upon what I was shown today ... you weren't missing too much. As members of this community - you have a right to see it too.

But I will spare you from seeing it all. So, here we go. A sample - not in time order:

Yes, Mrs. Jimi I did send it to them and I just got a note back a minute ago and had to stop and see what it was. Thanks!

Someone named peekarski posted a long post with Dan's infamous quotes from over the weekend . After copying each of Dan's quotes underneath it he made a derragatory(where IS spell check on my computer lol?) remark about each one. At the bottom he ended with the quip that I posted above. It was quite an ego bruiser . Seconds after I pasted the end remark, it vanished from the screen. What a surprise.

this RWV vs MrsJimi thing should be allowed to die down IMO. You know how I feel about RWV and Dan's recent behavior. I have posted about it on RWV, here, on the psychobabes group site, and I have emailed (and gotten a reply) from Dan, expressing my concerns and my suggestions to him.

I believe that MrsJ and all of us might best be served by just quietly going about our business. As I said, I will still visit RWV, but this is where I like to hang (when I can). Hanging on RWV is like being tied to an anthill and having honey poured all over me.
In the broiling sun.

Anyway, I am taking a practical position here. Dan is not going to change because of any posts on RWV. If you want to express your dismay, outrage, concerns, whatever, why not email him. Make your views known behind the scenes.

Whatever is going on with Dan, and something most definitely is, I would rather not have the rift between him and mrsJ to spiral into a permanent us against them type of thing.

And posting about it on RWV is not IMO going to produce anything constructive. You will just get bogged down in arguments with the danclub.

I too am largely clueless, it seems as if some ring (psychobabes) was using another site/board/whatever to coordinate attacks on rwv, and discussing names/tactics there. Somehow Dan found and unmasked that site, posting much of it here as evidence.
Not real sure of the chronology, am I even close??
