"It's haunting to think these nice, loving people were trying to hold their breaths as they sank to the bottom of the ocean," said Santa Ana, Calif., prosecutor Matt Murphy.

Why would they need bleach and plastic bags if they threw them overboard alive? (Still breathing)

How awful!! And I was feeling guilty tonight because I tailgated someone... The capacity to kill in cold blood astounds me. For a yacht??? This story is really unbelievable.

This is exactly why I'm confused about the death penalty; because this guy deserves it.

Dan,
I really appreciate you posting this link. I had heard about this double homicide, but as is often the case for me these days, I hadn't had the chance to read about it. It caught my attention because my sons (now in their mid and late teens) used to watch the Power Rangers. I recognize and remember Skylar Deleon.
More importantly, I was touched by the photos of Mr. & Mrs. Hawks posted on the link. What a seemingly loving, vibrant two people...

Something just occurred to me. Did you see the pix of Mr. Hawks? A very strong guy. No 65 lb. anchor would drag him off a boat if he was able to kick Deleon in the groin just prior.
So if this story comes from someone else on the boat, as it probably does, what is being left out?
See what the Natalee story has done? Now I don't believe anything at first light.

The bleach (clean up blood?) and plastic bags were likely for the premeditated way they planned to kill the couple.
Just had a change of plan I guess.

I have found a photo of the white power ranger of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Skylar Deleon's police photo. The 2 look alot alike. But I do not know if the two photos are of the same person. I just thought the two look simular.

The actor was not a Power Ranger, he had a small part as a kid in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers episode "Second Chances" as someone who was trying to get onto Ernie's soccer team. Jason and Zack helped this kid get onto the soccer team as the team captain. Anyway, this guy was never one of the Power Rangers in any of the Seasons.

White Ranger, Tommy, was played by Jason David Frank, who recently came back for the Season Power Rangers Dino Thunder as the Black Ranger in 2004.

I knew this kid. I was in the Marines with him about 4 years ago. I would have never thought of him as one to do that/

I was just released from OCWJ , and I had the pleasure of being transported with DeLeon and he is in good spirits and needs positive reinforcement. He appeared to be in good shape and doing the best he can to keep his head up through all of these trials and tribulations. God Bless Skylar!
