Ok now my night is officially ruined :-)

Shouldn't that be a photo of Jimmy Carter? hehe

The Verona files have vindicated much of what Tailgunner Joe McCarthy claimed and for which he was so vilified. There were in fact many subversive communists in Hollywood at that time so I am glad Stewart was once again doing his part as a loyal American. The Cold War was as important as any we have ever fought. Stewart was an ace pilot and all around hero who never stopped serving his country.

I still love this guy. It's A Wonderful Life. What a movie!

As already stated above...not one person Joe McCarthy accused was innocent. The sad thing is it was obvious they already controlled the media or had such a strong influence even then, that the American people were totally hoodwinked---again.
Too bad Stewart and like minded didn't get 'em all---they have bred.

Hollywood is still full of subversive people ready to bash the US every chance they have. Poor Zuzus' petals.

I never like Jimmy Stewart as an actor, except in It's a Wonderful Life.

But if he ratted out Communists in Hollywood to J. Edgar Hoover then I damn well like him as a man and a loyal American.

Beware, Barbra Streisand, someone may be watching you.
