I am not able to access the video, but would just like to say one thing. My husband was had been shot and killed many years ago, and the only eye witness was someone with the IQ of a shoe. And yes, it was enough to secure a conviction. So please don't dismiss this "witness" so readily.

And one last thing that I thought would be worth noting: the H/T's should make a public statement declaring that if there's a witness out there that happens to be an illegal, that they would be not prosecuted for such. JMO

ok, I have had about enough of Aruba and their ridiculous antics. I can not believe they would stoop so low to have the Holloways private investigator booted from that island. I wasn't into the boycott Aruba previously, but I am ALL for it now. I hope that BHT and team find some way to block this, and expose ARuba and their Keystone Cop, dirty government for what they are. This case would be almost comical if it werent so sad, and its just keeps getting better and better.

Aruba has the nerve to not arrest the prime suspects for 10 days, f**k up the investigation fro the start, then continue to make mistake after dumb mistake ( which I think is on purpose, because they dont WANT to solve this case!) Urine gets daily visits with PaPa to advise him day by day, info has been put out then recanted over and over, innocent people were arrested without any thought, yet Urine and his buddies have been treated with kid gloves since day one!!

I am so irrate at this situation, and I am going to write a nice letter to the Arubian government to let them know they have lost a tourist. I will never go back to that place, and I hope others feel the same. Pretty low, arresting the PI that is doing the job their own idiot cops cannot do!! Unbelievable!!!!!

You have to take into account that this guy has a television camera pointed at his face- he probably was a little uncomfortable in that situation for the first time.

Hopefully the Holloway Twitty's will be able to make enough noise to keep this witness from being deported. I don't like TJ's agenda and don't know how much he has really dug up, if he can be a real help to the family I hope they can work out something to keep him there.

As far as Janssen, I can't believe they let her back on this case. I too believe that she is a big hinderance to this case. We finally got to the point where something may be able to be done without Janssen of Van Straaten being there (providing some missing link could be found), now it seems like this is going to back to never being solved.

I'm sure Aruba is quite safe to vacation on for anyone who is aware of dangers that exist everywhere. There is no place on this earth that a girl should go off with strangers, and I'd say that there is no bar on earth that a girl can't get drugged in. My kids were taught not to hang out in bars or run with people who do drugs. If you do that, you can have big trouble right in your own hometown.

Let me add that there are places in Aruba that are not safe to go to- Carlos and Charlies being one. A girl would have to be crazy to go there or to any such place anywhere on earth. Why go where there is some fair degree of likelihood that someone could drug you? People can have a lot of fun at places where they are with their own friends that they know they trust. Why go somewhere where the main idea is to get drunk or do drugs? Getting drunk does not have good consequences- and drugs, the same.

At my afterprom many years ago, we went to the beach all night in San Diego. There was little booze and no drugs. We had a blast! Substances are not needed for fun. The solution today is finding friends that don't do those things, and agreeing as a group to freeze out people who try to drag that in. Many parents would be happy to help provide places and money for recreation that is not detrimental to a kid's future. Start a gang of your own- a no drugs, no drunkenness group. Get some help to find fun things to do. You can do them in Aruba or anywhere else. It's WHO YOU HANG OUT WITH and what TYPE OF PLACES you go that is the key.

Yes, it's old fashioned. And it's safe, and it's fun. Unless you are the kind of person who just can't have fun unless it's risky. But the fact is, as much as the other person is responsible to treat you right, there are people that will not, and do you really have to be around them? It's your neck.

Truth is Aruba is a fabulous place with less than a .05% bad citizen rate, making it far, far safer than Jamaica, or the Bahamas. Natalie ran into the only lousy people on the island. Beth wants to believe that Natalie was getting into a taxi. It's possible, but not likely. Natalie simply was accepting a ride home. She trusted the guys,and knew they didn't have a bona fide cab service. Cabs have a certain look about them. She simply accepted the offer for a ride home. All the guys knew it was Natalie's last night on the island. They thought the two or three drinks Natalie had was enough to take advantage of her. Remember, it was a now or never moment for Jurin van der Sloot, so he knew he had to act fast. Instead of the hotel, they took her to the island parking spot--or one of them-- then, when they hatched their plan of evil intentions, Natalie protested, then fought back. To silence her screams, Juren, and/or one of the brothers, strangled her with their bare hands. She remains buried on the island. Unless the police can verify that someone had a boat, and that boat had been used late that night/early the next morning, it is unlikely that they carried out a burial off shore. It was late, and the wind was kicking some chop and swells. The issue of the boat must be checked out extensively. The disc jockey on the party boat, who early on tried to pass off a lie to cover for the three guys, needs to be questioned further. He knows something, and could have access to a small boat. But, Beth is wrong. Natalie was accepting a free ride home, like the queen that she was, and she never expected any evil intent to come her way that night.

Maybe you dont know that the 2 Black security guards were scheduled to be arrested ANYWAY. They were accused by the Mtn Brook kids on the trip of stealing from them at the Holiday Inn. Joran and the kalpoes didnt set these 2 guys up, both Joran and the kalpoes were clear that the 2 black guys wore Holiday inn uniforms and these guys didnt work at the Holiday Inn. So it would seem to me that if these 2 guys were under suspecion for stealing from the mtn brook kids then they would be a HIGLY Likely suspect in Natalee's disapearance. Now we know that Jorand and the kalpoes were lieing about this leaving natalee with the Holiday Inn gfuards, however you have your story wrong.

There is so much hersay and twisted scenarios out there. Becareful what you report as fact as it is probably Wrong and you will be just spreading inaccurate info.

Kesca,,,,wonderful post you have there, so many of todays youth need to learn and be taught that Drugs and Drinking do nothing but get you into trouble. Sadly but way too many parents go along and even encourage drinking and sometimes illegal drugs too. I did enjoy your post and how you framed it while not comparing anyone or any issue. But what you said would equate to any teenager, anywhere and at anytime not just vacations but as a lifetime committment to be Honest to yourself.

Water under the bridge....but when my son suggested going to Belize I sure wasn't going to be the one footing the bill. As a parent, there is enough to worry about teens drinking in the states without being of legal age! As the parents admitted, they knew their teens would be drinking in Aruba where 18yrs old is old enough! My son will be 21yrs at the end of the month; and, as a parent I take a sigh of relief that if he now drinks at least he is of legal age. Unfortunately that doesn't lessen th epossible consequences that drinking can bring, but at least I have never aided his underage drinking. As a parent you have to deter underage drinking by supervision of any parties you allow at your home, never provide any alcohol to minors, and never leave your home on vacation "trusting" your teen children while you are gone! I did my share of drinking while a teen, but as parent in today's world where there is so much liability to be in any way associated with minors drinking..I was as straight and narrow as any parent can be. The days of kids approaching an adult to buy their beer is, for any responsible adult, long gone. It isn't necessarily because I was so agains't teens drinking, it was a "cover my ass" approach!

Bless NH's parents for they will always regret their decision. However, it was an educated decision, they were fully aware that NH would be drinking in Aruba and thereby be at measureable degree of risk.

Is it pretty wild on a cruise ship? I haven't been on one, but that makes 3 people gone missing from cruise ships that I've heard of recently. Plus Amy Bradley a while back. Sad.

Cruise ships need to become more accountable and beef up their security. But once again, any place where drugs and booze run freely is not as safe as it should be.

Seems quite a few people go missing. More than I realized. Amy Bradly and the two from the above link were on a cruise ship. That woman that was a writer for tourism in Jamaica. Natalee in Aruba. The couple in Costa Rica. When your on vacation you protect yourself from theft but kidnapping is really not on your mind and your caught off guard.
