Before this all started I was playing around with sound and video editing a bit ... not sure how long this is going to stay here for several reasons.

Dan; ;
That's a very well done video.
In the light of the circumstances, gives a different meaning to the lyrics.

Kudos to you, Dan! That was an excellent tribute to Natalee and all of those who have worked so hard, both physically and spiritually on bringing Natalee home.

======================================
I had heard she signed her yearbook or something "Freebird" and some raised questions if maybe her disappearing was planned. I think people read too much into things. My son is in Natalee's age group and I have always loved and related to Freebird and understand it well. I never disappeared. Nice job on the video Dan.

I am still at a loss for words.
This is a video to look at more than once.
In combination with the lyrics it is just fantastic.
Very touching and inspirational.
THUMBS UP!
Great work Dan.

Dan, it can be seen that you put a lot of work into this piece. It is truly a gift to be able to put into words, music and selected photographs the beauty that is Natalee and her family. Thank you.

The video is compelling. it captures our hearts and minds. It causes me to believe that we must forge forward to find Natalee in the name of truth and justice; it's our way. Well done!

Help...Dan or anyone...
When I clicked on this link I have a left side bar come up (WindowsMedia.com). It has a very small screen at the bottom of this area where the video plays. Is there a way to see a larger view of it? Sorry I am sooo not computer savvy.
I could not read what it said at the beginning and end...I assumed it was the lyrics.
Thanks,
Cindy

Dan, from all the posts here, it seems that this is a very moving video to see. I'm going to try and get it to play on my computer, right now it doesnt load. I saved it in case you take it off.
Thanks for all hard work.

Leave it up, Dan.
I don't like yellow ribbons or candle light prayer gatherings at all. But that tore out my heart.

Dan, that was beautiful and so very moving.
I wish they could run that video over and over and over in front of Joran - 24/7. Even if he never talks, I wish he could have those images permanently ingrained in his soul, so that he is NEVER without them. As I take my daughter off to college this week, I will hold on a little longer at the steps of her dorm, I will listen more intently to the sound of her voice, and I will tell her a few more times how much I love her. I'll remember Beth and Natalee, because they will never have those moments again. God Bless Natalee's family and friends.

Dan, remarkable job...remarkably well done. It was as if that song was written precisely for Natalee at this time. I loved the bird flying alone, above the other birds. You did a good job. Your video has said it better than anything I have seen so far. The southern rocknroll anthem, for the southern sweetheart of America.
Thank you.

Dan,
That was a beautiful tribute to Natalee and her family. I definitely think you should leave it up. I don't think I'll ever hear that song the same way again.

I understand why it wont be up for long. Where did you get those pictures/ Are those Your pictures?

My heart feels heavy. A beautiful girl! Everyday I wonder if this will be the day Natalee will come home. Thank you Dan for a beautiful video and bring back some hope.

I've been following the case with bated breath, just like everyone else. But this is WAY TOO sappy and it's not going to help anything! I am all about finding Natalee, but this is too sugary and clichied (pardon my spelling if I got that wrong) enough to be nauseating!
Posted by: owlstorm | Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 12:35 AM
Delta Rio Thank you for your help...
Dan thank you again. Please don't remove this it has given me resolve to stick to following this and talking about it. This case must not "go away" it Beth and Dave need to bring their daughter home.

I usually lurk here, love your site, come here at least 5 times a day to check on Natalee, and you always have the most latest news. Anyway, I have never posted, because I am a bit shy, BUT, I just had to say how beautiful that video is!!! I have a daughter who is only 7 now, but in my wildest dreams, I cannot imagine her being "missing." I think I would just literally die!! Anyway, thanks for that video, Maybe if we could get Joran, Deepak, and Kolope to watch it, they may give up some information on where she is, hey, ya never know.
Thanks,
Joy in WV

Birmingham Dog,
Too nice a tribute, huh
You've never shown one bit of concern for Natalee.
Posted by: bamaguy11 | Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 12:53 AM
AHA! She wanted to be a free bird. Now I get it. She's a runaway. I bet she really feels bad about this fiasco she has caused. However, I hope she is doing well and will contact us all soon.

Sad but inspiring foretelling of the future.
People with nothing to hide hide nothing
You will live forever Natalee we will keep you alive in our hearts.

It is almost as if the American psyche has given birth to this video.
As I was watching it, the chills filled my body to the point I could not move.
The mystique of Natalee Holloway has carved out a permanent place in the lands of America and Aruba.
The vibrancy of Natalee's being is well portrayed in Dan's video and in the song, "Freebird". She had worked diligently to create a future in which she could fulfill her true potential. She could feel the "wind beneath her wings", which would lift her the heights she had imagined.
For those who speculate she might be a runaway...Natalee was not "flying" away...she was "flying" to the next step in her education.
For those of us who have felt the essence of Natalee Holloway, we know that she was/is steadfast and true.
Those who stole her innocence and freedom must be brought to justice...this is Natalee's bottom line...this will make her a "freebird".

Dan,
That is utterly incredible ... so incredible! I am moved to tears as I watch this. What a fitting tribute for such a beautiful young lady. Please continue to keep Natalee and all the Holloway-Twitty family in prayer! Also remember all the kids on the trip who are going off to college in the next few weeks. This is an especially difficult time for them right now. Again, thanks Dan!

That was my High School graduation song in 1983.
Every time I hear that song and think of Natalee,
I feel pain and sorrow.
Pain, because of lost dreams.
Broken dreams suck!!
Whoever, wherever, bring her home. Please!!
Natalee's parents need peace.

maybe you could go by the school and take a picture of that yellow ribbon and send it to Dan?
seems the last one was owned by someone else!
