From the mailbag - below is a scuffle and a scandal many Southern readers might want to note.
John in Carolina has taken one of the two largest newspapers in North Carolina to task for what he felt was a willful refusal to cover the Air America/Gloria Wise scandal.
News and Observer executive editor and vice president of news Melanie Sill created a story of her own, however, when she first denied that she could even find the story, and then, backtracking furiously, offered up the incredibly lame excuses that a national radio network's scandal was "local news," and that the N&O was apparently incapable of
doing their own reporting.

Now if this was a Conservative station it would be headline news 24/7.
