Lead Investigator: Joran Van der Sloot Involved - Tells Ten Different Stories

Tromp said he is convinced van der Sloot was involved in Holloway's May 30 disappearance. He said the Dutch teenager, who has maintained his innocence, has changed his account of what happened that night more than 10 times.

"We thought we could solve this in a couple of days, but it turned out to be very difficult," said Lt. Roy Tromp, the lead police investigator. "In my 30 years as a police officer, I've never had a case like this."

That article basically sums it up. Nothing new, no one is talking, and Natalee is still missing. Greta from FOX did an interview with Beth while in Alabama, showing the inside of her house and all of the letters they have received. Jossy said that kids at Joran's school have said he is drugging girls drinks. The media says he is an out of control teen. The pond and the landfill came up empty. Witnesses are turing up nothing. That about sums it up.

It is so sad that it has come to this... Who would have thought that a person could just vanish in thin air, no clues left behind! It is just too scary to think about. I have a daughter that is Nat's age, who goes on trips with her church all the time and I never gave it a thought, you can bet I do now!

Daelj-- Joran is still in the slammer, trying to outlast his temporary incarceration. I think 9-4-05 is the release date but one of the proscecutors mentioned hoping to find at least one piece of evidence to hold him for another 60 day period to continue the investigation.

Reading Dans post, watching Jug and Mark on Fox tonight. This is a cover-up, no two ways about it. There cannot be that many ignorant investigators within one law enforcement agency. Mark said in the interview, something to the affect, go after the weakest link.....NO , that is the first thing an investigator looks for when more than one person is involved. I am not LE, its just common sense.

This entire thing is sinking into farce. Greta tonight on O'Reilly sounds as if she is handing over the sword. The Body Language people seem to be as useful as the tits on a bull, and the people on this and other blogs continue to raddle on without any facts except bits and fragments of imagination and speculation.

It is very very bad that Natalee is missing. I fear the worse for her at this point. However, I rejoice in the fact that Greta, Geraldo, and others have not been able to lynch Joran and he will have his day in court. What is the HARD evidence of a police coverup? TJ Ward is being brought in and will be ejected from the island for not having a work permit, supposedly he had been warned, and has been knocking on doors investigating, people have complained, and since he does not have a work permit, they are bringing him in Tito Lacle says "they will do whatever they can to bring him in immediately"!!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggggggg, I cannot take this, they can leave Paulus and the Kalpoes running around and can't crack Joran, but they'll arrest and deport TJ Ward.

Good to see they have their act together in Aruba.

On the Record tongight reported that Beth is back in Aruba, (according to Tito) there is a warrant out for T.J. Ward by the Aruban Government, they may possibly deport him for investigating without a work permit issued from the Aruban government. Also in court today - Joran and Deepak were the only ones to show up...Satishe did not show up....judges ruling expected tomorrow regarding FBI involvement.
There will also be a court hearing tomorrow for the witness from the dump. Apparently the court, along with Joran's and the Kalpoe brother's attourneys will be questioning this witness...he may conveniently be deported as well (along with T.J Ward) because he is an "illeglal" from another nearby island and apparently he has been on the Aruban "deportation list" for a while.

You make a good point Big Pappy...everyone who is directly involved in Natalee's dissapearance was able/still is able to walk free, while another investigative approach to this case is being denied by the obviously incomopetent (to some extent, or atleast compared to our superious U.S. approaches)Aruban authorities!

Another Point: Look at the case of the missing groom (George Smith) from the Royal Carribean cruise ship...as soon as it was reported to investigators in Turkey, they handed it over to the FBI!!!
