Is Greta Van Sustern Selling Out?

Fox host Greta Van Sustern appeared in an update on Bill O'Reilly tonight and referenced two witnesses who claim the land fill witness is credible. However, she did clearly hedge her bet by saying she hadn't spoken to the witness herself.

She then went on to reference quotes from Natalee's Father, Dave Holloway as regards conditions at the land fill where the search is being conducted - which were reported as extreme, much like any land fill.

In a post here, I pointed out that according to an NBC report, Dave Holloway has spoken to the witness in question and found his account questionable.

The Alabama teen's father said he spoke with the witness and isn't sure the story is believable

Given Fox's ability to research, and Greta's ability to ask Dave Holloway a simple question in this regard, one might wonder if she is reporting things as they are, or as internal Fox ratings watchers want them to appear.

Yes, CrossBron...I have this same conversation many times in my head. After all this conversation between the father, Paul and son,Joran, along with friends happened days AFTER the Beth, Jug and gang arrived at the their home to say that Natalee was missing. The same goes for the 'something bad happened to Natalee'...to be 'Something bad MUST HAVE happened to Natalee' as to speculation on part of the Kalpoe brother that was suppose to have said it (reported by Mickey John). Leaving out the MUST HAVE part gives it a whole new meaning.

The information given in this from last night contradicts what I thought was true, that they had a HI security tape and Natalee wasn't on the tape.

1.) The " Male " DNA on Nat's toothbrush ? Whose is it ?
2.) She had two things on her, drivers license and some cash. Where was her room key, pass card for the HI ?
3.) What kinds of phone calls did she make in Aruba the week she was there.? To who ?

Kat Gram, your post is very interesting about the break in the security tape that night at HI.

On #3) I too think it would be interesting to know what phone calls were placed on Natalee's phone pior to that last night in Aurba. I have a hunch that Beth saw numbers on there that were a basis for her going to Mr. Cros that owns the Cell phone company on the island.

It's tough with girls that young, they usually don't go to police anyway, and if we're talking about tourists in a foreign country...it is even less likely, it is doubtful he would be bragging at school about drugging ARUBAN girls, so it would have to be tourists....just goes to show what they really think of Americans down there.

Hopefully, if this is true, that some girl or girls somewhere has paid attention to this case and will or even has come forward.

NYG - I'm around and I am very interested in helping or learning anyway I can about what became of Natalee. I'm reading Dan's updates, and as you see, lurking for appropriate posts with known screen names and discussions.

Frankly I've better things to do than put up with the flood of inappropriate nonsense from the Aruba Disinformation Dept & the wild theorists it spawns or pretends to. I'm also disinterested in feeding the sick anti-Natalee pro-corruption crew. I've got a backlog of genealogy research correspondence to tend to and the grass got long again - I'm the gardener & landscaper & this place is like a park.

To my memory of this it was first talked about by Mickey John after his prison release. As MJ tells the story of his conversation with Deepak in prison. If one reads what MJ says of the story of the Paul/Joran and friends conversation it seems to have happened during the week of Natalee's family arriving on the island and after them going to Joran's home. This would make it after Natalee has been missing for 2-3 or more days.

It has been a long time since I read MJ statement and I will try and find the link and post it.

Never have I heard that this was said during the night of Natalee's family 3:00 am visit to Joran's home.

See, that is the problem. Beth needs grief counseling. The point being, she WILL leave the island without her daughter and she is not at a point that she can accept that. There are steps to grief. She needs to be in a hospital and have someone professional in grief counseling helping her. I can not see why Jug does not take her home and help her get into therapy. She is NOT healthy. The world at large, her friends, family, neighbors are not doing her a service to not take professional care of her. She needs to be in a hospital with professional people taking care of her to help her face reality. Where are you people who care about Beth so much? It is much like letting someone have the keys when they are drunk. You are letting her spin in this spiral of dispare.

I strongly agree with both of you! There are so many innocent explanations for most of the 'evidence' against these people.

Especially the idea that PVS's sweating makes him guilty. I keep thinking how I would feel talking to BHT. The mixture of grief and compassion for this woman's plight and hatred for what she was/is accusing me & my son of must have been overwhelming! Knowing that every single word I spoke and every single expression on my face and movement I made would be twisted and used against me & my child. He was being confronted and accused by an angry, bitter woman and still showed respect for her and the pain she was in. He is a very admirable man!

You can't trust this so called land fill witness. Just keep in mind everytime there seams to be progress in this case something goes wrong and this is by design. This case will not be solved, the curruption runs to hign up in the Aruban goverment and Paul Van Der Sloot seams to have everybody's hands tied do to politcal reasons.
So, I myself believe the only way to extract justice from this currupt regime is to boycott and choke the life out of the Aruban economy. I know it's not fair to the innocent people or to 30 % of the legit businesses but there must be retribution of behalf of the Holloway family.

Let me get this correct, perfectly innocent people, (presume you mean Juran, Papa and company) with nothing to hide make up an incredible story IN CASE someone were to say, "Hey didn't I see NH with them/" They weren't the known last, but they made up this story about dropping her off and were going to let the security guards swing just because?????

Ever since mid June, when a source I have come to trust has mentioned the possibility of the land fill, and every since I have posted this, my web site gets attacked, along with negative emails. Luckily my firewall prevents any shenanigans. But I find it someone odd that only when I post the possibility of Daddy, Police chief and Juran being involved to the hilt and the landfill issue, all Hell breaks loose. The DJ also concocted a perfectly good alibi for the Kalpoes???? There is a strong possibility that Deepack called the DJ to cover for them on the HI story, in case Juran, father and Police cheif double crossed them. Police know this and that's why they released him. One Kalpoe brother was to be released. See my post back in June. Surprise to everyone when both Kalpoes were released. These are not coincidences, there is a fabric to this story. Keep the pressure on and search the land fill.

VDS are more powerful family than reported. This is big stain for them and they have led a misdirection campaign from the beginning. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE concocts the security guard story out of the blue for no reason. Please search the landfill, find the body and charge the culprits. NH wasn't abducted by Aliens and she didn't disappear on her own.

The search team said that they thought they found the witness's statement credible, and have put in a tremendous about of resources in searching that area, and Natalee's family have also gone there, so Greta was not lying. Although she did not mention that Natalee's dad was not so sure - maybe Greta did not know that he said that.

IMO, Greta, as well as most (not all...Susan Candiotti comes to mind)have stopped investigating the story themselves, and have essentially become mouthpieces of Diario and Aruba Today. Asking the same reporters, the same questions and reporting their findings as fact night after night, is a lack of responsibility on the part of MSM. Anyone here with a video remote and a satelite feed could report the same thing.

If this witness was so adamant about a body being dropped at the landfill, why, when he saw it happen, didn't he go over and investigate it himself to be sure after the suspects left the area? I know if I'd seen such a thing, I'd be nosey enough to go check it out myself and INSIST that the police come immediately.

Greta has said that this credible witness who saw a body being dumped in the landfill is out there himself in the landfill helping the searchers look. He is ADAMANT about what he saw. If he was a news-seeker, I don't think he'd be out there helping them and directing them where to look. EquuSearch has verified this on the news last night. They also said since they have dug down many yards in the garbage that the dogs have made several "hits", so they are continuing their search, and are waiting for 2 more bulldozers to help with the work. Personally, I think they are on the right track. Either that, or someone is holding something pretty big over that witness's head to make him lead everyone on a wild goose chase.

Where do you hide a body in 2 hours?

We have 2 stories..for a sex act. The beach, and Joran's house.

What this really means to me....

Well I lost a daughter who was 17 because of a disease.

My other daughter was attacked but fought off her attacker in the parking lot of her appartment.

My wife was a rape victim.

I would hope and pray that men get the hint that "NO" means no. That women deserve respect. We should always believe that people have value and worth.

Natalee is gone because someone didn't have those values.
