i think this is just a drunken old man, a know it all.

He's a regular shopper at the dump according to the interview with one of the searchers tonight. The man goes there looking for things.

Although the dump is a logical place to put a body, and he even may think she saw something, the blond hair and breast part of it is what causes me to question credibility. Too much detail. If someone were dumping a body, don't think he would have seen all of this as they would have wanted it totally covered and wrapped to stay hidden until disintegrates and is buried.

Maybe he did see something? The PI check out the license plate # for the vehicle and found out that it was no where near the dump that day or any days around that.Maybe the witness has hopes of getting a reward if they happen to find there. Why not there? They haven't found it anywhere else.

Bdog - I rather enjoy your posts a great deal so dont take this the wrong way. But MsJ and AU have two different Ips - and no one jumped on you that one time you trolled as JVDS and posted the following - now play nice, please. ; )

And, yes, this is "Dan"

Oh yes these are my emails. What difference does it make 1 way or another ? Some of you people need to get a life. OBSESSION, you are addicted to this situation, what does that make you ?

JVDS

Mrs. Jimi,
you have a good sober night as well my dear. We are truly dealing with insanity tonight. He has completley lost his marbles..

See ya soon

amen CANADA GOOSE

my original point exactly

who cares who is what. the loss of a child
changes people and we must wait before judging.
their pain is incalcuable.

the entire community in which i grew up searched for that little boy. i was working in that mall when he was kidnapped. it was a f****ing nightmare that i will never forget

thank you Canada Goose

shonane

no please read dan's post.

we are referring to JVDS/Bhamdog

AU girl did you catch that?

good god!!

people are sick!!

what next John Walsh?

thanks dan

i just saw that post by him

lordy how do you do it dan?

Check back today earlier when MJHendrix challenged Calista to "report her to DAN", maybe she is your informant, I sure hope not..

OMG IF IT ISN'T ISLAND HOPPER........WELCOME BACK POTTY MOUTH BITCH

no I am not island hopper ask Dan-o if you dont believe me. But I am tired of people changing their usenames all the time.
hint hint MJHendrix...
G-night

GWD

Au, MrsJ...........sorry had a flashback lol.
What a moron this person is. And to make the comments they did..........ummmmmmmm they have been here for awhile, but obviously not paying much attention!

Please stop the IH crap -

GWD -
Check calista's latter post after she emailed me. If MsJ or anyone does something to be dealt with, I'll deal with it. I re read the thread - you were being challenged as to statements you made about Beth T. Of all the comments, yours were and are the most heated. You went from that into "troll alert" and that's when I jumped in - it was untrue. However, MsJ the "drunken" crack was also totally unnecessary and inappropriate.

If everyone would check themselves a little bit when these things start it would save all alot of aggravation.

Birm, fair enough.....now let's drop it. And, I am sorry if I offended you. I just don't know anymore.

", maybe she is your informant, I sure hope not..

and if i am what will you do?

i started out with empathy towards you, you reacted like i was attacking you

for the record i only use one screen name

how you reacted towards me unecessary i might ad i what made me think you are drunk. not you personally but your reaction. period

if you do not drink, congraduations. then you are in good company

but you should really read posts before you attack people because as i said i was seeing things from you point of view

as for calista, in case you don't know she and i are just fine now. you may have missed that.

if i were going to use another screen name it would never be JVDS that is just cruel

No , the poster's reference to GVS above is to

Greta Van Susteren - FOX news reporter.

I have been here sinse 1993, I only know MrsJ to use one other name, and If I remember right, she changed it due to trolls.
Not quite sure what is going on here, but I do think, everyone has to back off.Including myself. I also hate the fact that some people use a variety of names, on the other hand, I have seen why they need too. Personally, I could give a flying f***K If someone has my email address, or If they actually know who I am. But thats just me. And if you hack my pc, know that I will hunt your ass down lol.

If everyone would check themselves a little bit when these things start it would save all alot of aggravation.

I didn't even know they had blog sites in 1993 and you and MrsJ have been here since then, last 12 yrs. I don't even remember an INTERNET then as I got it at work around 1996, limited access, and most folks I knew didn't have it then. Mainly used it for research then. Wow! so this blog site has been her that long?

i will send you photos of my kids now......

Wow! so this blog site has been her that long?

Posted by: shonane | August 3, 2005 01:41 AM

Ummmmmmmmmmmm no, I was trying to make lite of things. If I remember right, Al Gore invented the internet in 1988 ..........

MrsJ

Can't wait to see the kids, they sound adorable. However, I am still laughing that you thought that was me in the picture with my daughters.

shonane

i don't know about the site. i know for governmental reasons the internet has been around since the 1960's

i do know that dan's blog was doing well before this case and hopefully when it is resolved one way or another it will go back to its adult like self

i hope you will stick around

: )

cindy

2 pics 3 kids in them for you now

anyway shonane

back to the topic

thanks for the correction.

it took me a few minutes to figure that one out

VDS

duh!!!! so much talk about VDS lately

I do like fox though, a lot of friends of mine are affiliated with it

hope you enjoyed the lil unnecessary side show here!!

Mrs.............beautiful children! As I said this morning on the phone, you are blessed to be able to be home with them. It makes for healthy kids, all the way around. Thanks for sharing the pictures with me. I am sure you are just as proud of them as I am of my own. :)

shonane, stick around, I'll bring out the hamburger and hotdogs if you'll stay..........

cindy

one more coming

shonane

you hungry yet? i got the cofee too

Mrs........I am so coffeed out...chaired at a meeting today, last second request. Needed the coffee to keep me sane lol.

UTOH.......numbers just went from 166,000 visits a second to just us two. You got some splainin to do Mrs lol

well atleast you can get to one!! LOL stuck in the house w/ kids and hubby 24/7. the other pic is not sending right now. will try later.

i feel so bad for the mom of NH. it must be hitting her so hard right now. i hope she gets the support we have, that is hard to find but i pray she somehow find it or us (not that she needs what we have). life is hard enough without what she is going through

and poor dave holloway. he is going to have a huge hole in his heart forever. just like all sweet dads of missing kids. my dad and i are close. nothing can break the bond of a daddy and his girl, esp his first born baby girl. this is too sad

when all is said and done, like it or not, GVS (yes i got it now shonane--LOL) will walk away with just another notch in her belt, although i do think this story impacts her too

cindi

how do you know the numbers?

it is 2am there where you are probably people hit the hey

still i don't know how you got the numbers. i am no computer techie

Two things will change people.
1. becoming a politician
2. becoming a star on TV.

Mrs, took a wild guess. Hell IF I were that good with numbers, I sure as hell wouldn't have to work as a paralegal.

Yes, the Holloways must be going through pure hell. I pray they find some peace in all of this.
I remember what my husband went through the whole time our daughter was sick, it broke my heart. A father thinks, much more than a mother, that they are always in control of what happens in their childs life. I keep looking at that picture of Natalee in the car.........what a beautiful young lady. One of my daughters was here tonight, her and her friends were out trash picking lol, they came in with a sony stereo, plugged it in to see if it worked, they were so full of life, dancing all over the dining room. After Brie left, I went to get something out of my purse...she had stuck money in it. These are the things the Holloways are missing, and I am afraid they will never get to enjoy their daughter.

Two things will change people.
1. becoming a politician
2. becoming a star on TV.

now, now Roy, you left out being a used car salesman

MrsJ

Roy is here, you can break out the hazelnut coffee cream now.

roy is a good guy

i like him

GWD, what is wrong with you today.
You are usually very balanced.
I was happy to see you are back after a period of absence.
This is not like you.
please cool off. You are hurting yourself.
Take care and take a rest.
I am with you.

And now I am really off to bed.
night, good people.

wow - I won't even try to figure out what was going on with all that back & forth stuff & who was jumpin' on who - but it did leave me with a question - what is IH? Dan said "please stop the IH crap" - it was pretty easy to see what he meant by crap - but could someone tell me what the IH means?

The statement "without a body there is no case" came from the Aruba's attorney general (Caren Janssen) and not Beth and Jug. Beth and Jug were repeating what she said. Aruban law allows Paul to give advice to his son, but not the two brothers. Paul told Dave that he did not make the statement, but I believe Caren Janssen.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8389319/

Dad's legal advice
Janssen said the elder van der Sloot gave his son and the Kalpoe brothers legal advice, telling them that “without a body there is no case.”

“He confirmed to me that he told them that a few days after she disappeared,” Janssen told the AP.

Janssen also alleged Paul van der Sloot, a 52-year-old judge in training in Aruba, obstructed authorities’ investigation by asking one of his son’s friends, who had been interrogated, what he told police

Greta does a good job reporting all her cases, not just the Holloway's case, and I find her to be straight forword with her commentary. It is unfair to attack Greta when all the news media cover this case. What about Nancy Grace or Dan Abrams?

BTW - with all the "IH crap" going on I almost forgot that I wanted to weigh in on the question,"is GVS selling out?" I don't believe that for a minute. I must admit disappointment with some of the reporting coming out of FOX & everyone else - too many 2nd hand reports from Jossy & the PI - rather than getting the interviews themselves & that kind of thing - but I have to blame at least some of that on the lack of openness in the Aruban system - but I do recognize it is their system and not ours. When there is something concrete, I'm sure Greta will have it so I'm gonna keep watching. Also, Beth is comfortable with Greta and I believe they both know things they can't yet share with us. And while I'm on the subject of Beth... Shame on anyone who says negative things about what she is or isn't doing or anyone else in that family for that matter. Each of them are doing what they feel they need to be doing to get through this horrible time.

AGAIN I AM NOT AGAINST FOX BUT ENOUGH PEOPLE HERE ARE THUS MY SUGGESTION. i for one will not be changing the channel, but then again i have to compete with disney channel, etc in order to even get to the new : )

Posted by: MrsJimiHendrix | August 2, 2005 11:59 PM

I know what you mean; I have to compete to get to use the computer, and have to watch a 13 inch television in the kitchen because the my two sons have the larger televison in the living room on the disney channel and sometimes cartoon station. But then again I'm in the kitchen cooking or cleaning up when the news is on anyway.

i thought i heard greta ask dave about the witness last night or the night before, but i could be confused on that. perhaps greta didn't interview the two witnesses herself because she just arrived back on the island. she did pound the pavement getting those interviews the first week and i thought it was great viewing. i was surprised by that, i never cared for her that much before. tonight she had the cop, not all that great because he wasn't a very interesting character. she did hustle to get the guy in the car and that was the highlight of the evening. the guy in the car interview was the stuff that made her fist week exciting. i tend to think that she has fallen off a bit and gone back to her same old interviews with the four lawyers who know nada. greta has even been scooped by msnbc and cnn several times since her first week. she always seemed like the behind the desk type reporter so i don't know if she really is slacking or not. but agree, she could have asked dave about the witness. she could have pushed and asked if tj had interviewed the witness and decided he was a flake. she could have asked if that was why dave had doubts about the witness. she could have asked about the voice equipment. i think greta just got lucky the first time she was in aruba, you know, the right time and the right place. greta still has the most coverage, but nancy grace has given her a run for the money more than once. lol.

Ladies, take it from the experience of a mother with teenagers. It's your house, your tv, your computer. When you say move, they need to move. Trust me, they will have more respect for you in the morning. I love my kids more than anything, but they did not run my house or my life. Today they tell stories..........remember the time mom kicked our ass for..........and they still jump when I get going lol.

OK, it's 6:18 and I am still up, my ass is asleep and I live alone lol.

"I (may not be relevant, just a thought) think Gretta personally became very attatched to this case , and her main goal (Fox relevant or not) was to do all she could to support Beth and Co. , but due to the obvious lack of journalistic lack of conversation , is grasping of any straws within reach .

I do believe (contrary to what anyone thinks or posts about her ) that she is a truly passionate/caring person!

Posted by: ////CroSSBronXXPreSS//// | August 2, 2005 09:59 PM"

Yup, thats what I get from all of this "to support Beth and co" and ONLY beth. I cannot beleive the obvious slanted reports toward BT making her the highlight of this entire story. While Dave the father gets a passing mention, oh yeh and Dave is looking to. Ahhhh no its not all about Beth Twitty, its about TWO parents who are trying to find their daughter.

It was Natalie's uncle that was on tv last night. I don't see anything wrong with Beth being the main spokesman. I'm sure she is sharing her funds with Dave but the funds are for the cost of searching for Natalie. It appears to me that all family members are trying to get involved and be at the island with Beth as much as they can. I never seen Beth alone on the Island. They are all doing what they can to stay with her. The men in the families have jobs at home and someone has to keep things going at the Alambama homes. Besides, can you see Gretta running around chasing Dave and going to Dave's house. That's just inapropriate to be chasing Dave around when Beth is the spokesperson and has dedicated 24 hrs to this search. I can't believe any of you even had such a discussion. Of course it's not all about Beth. But, she is stern and strong and will not leave that island without her daughter.

On another note.....

Alot of people have in the same context as alot of other people already judged what they percive to be the meaning of "If there is no body , there is no case" , but , (and believe me I am in no way defending these FOUR snaeky suspects) , say for instance Joran is innocent , and scared to death of the consequences of such a serious accusation , and says to Faa-Der-Sloot , Wow dad this is serious , authorities may think i did something to cause the end of this girl's life.......Faa-Der-Sloot may have simply in a multitude of different ways simply siad something like....Son...Don't let a murder charge make you scared , she may be alive , and they can't finger you for murder , because if "there is no body, there is no case(against you)......sorry for such a long post , but I think it's a valuable thought!

Posted by: ////CroSSBronXXPreSS//// | August 2, 2005 10:15 PM

Yes, CrossBron...I have this same conversation many times in my head. After all this conversation between the father, Paul and son,Joran, along with friends happened days AFTER the Beth, Jug and gang arrived at the their home to say that Natalee was missing. The same goes for the 'something bad happened to Natalee'...to be 'Something bad MUST HAVE happened to Natalee' as to speculation on part of the Kalpoe brother that was suppose to have said it (reported by Mickey John). Leaving out the MUST HAVE part gives it a whole new meaning.
