Don't you just hate a show-off?
Edison, N.J., officer David Salardino, 32, and a friend, Brian J. Rossmeyer, were arrested early Wednesday after people complained the men were standing nude in front of their hotel window.
"Salardino was attempting to 'show off' by flexing as he stood naked in front of the window in order to attract the attention of the people on the sidewalk in front of the hotel," according to a police report.
Let them eat cake ... er, s'pgetti!
Five straight turkey dinners prompted El Paso County jail inmates to go on a brief hunger strike.
Sheriff's officials said Wednesday that the hunger strike lasted a half hour.
"Turkey, turkey and more turkey is not a form of punishment," the sheriff's office said in a tongue-in-cheek prepared statement. "The inmates accepted this reasoning and gobbled up their dinner meal." The inmates had spaghetti for dinner Wednesday - with turkey-based meat sauce.
"Buyer" Beware?
LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - Kris Bryan couldn't believe it when she came home and saw strangers taking all of her stuff - including her 7-week-old kitten.
A legal notice in the Lawrence Journal-World for unclaimed property mistakenly listed Bryan's address. The notice said the items would be thrown out if they weren't picked up from the apartment.
They returned the items they had taken, but others had already made off with an estimated $3,300 worth of possessions - everything from a TV and a DVD player to video games and Bryan's kitten.
Despite the ad's confusion, those who took them could also face charges. "Just that ad in the newspaper doesn't give someone permission to go in and take items," Bryan said.

Are you kidding? That's my home town, havne't heard anything about it. Am I first?

That story about the kitten, etc. would prob. play out much the same way anywhere else. Red state, Blue state, Hi rent, Low rent.
Hell, I might have shown up. I hope I would have figured it out before the kitten.

Have all the anti-americans gone home? Who is paying this guys to down grade the H & T family? I hope they are not American because they are a disgrace. If they are hired to write the things they do then they should wonder what is the all mighty dollar worth these days. A real American knows that no money, no anything, can make them put forth words which will disgrace the American public. This is it people. Do you accept money to put down your American way of life? We have fought many wars to allow ourselves the freedom to say as we please but really... can't you separate truth and lies in Aruba?
Simply put, a person does not need to lie to protect himself/herself; not in the USA. The Aruban residents do not understand things that are truth and what is not true.
So what if they lose American business. The Aruban residents need to learn to demand the truth from their own government.
Give Natalee Holloway back to her mother and her family and let them/us bring our daughter home.

A 'real' American is one who is a citizen of the United States. Hopefully doing what they can to make their communities better for their children.
