Here are a few Cindy Sheehan quotes I han't seen. Damn.
Ace has some, um, interesting questions Sheehan might have for President Bush.
And Beth simply says, support the troops.
Meanwhile, Rusty did a poll of bloggers to assess the number who have served in the Military across political leanings.
And did you know there's a Joran Van der Sloot blog?

"And Beth simply says, support the troops."
Cindy Sheehan is NOT asking for family permission to use fallen soldiers names on her squatters camp ground crosses. One of the names she chose, Richard L. duSang, very dedicated soldier, died leaving Iraq for home on leave. His parents are angered by her use of their son's name. I think she should be tarred and feathered for assuming it's ok to use these dead heros names to further her political rage. I do not deny her grief, nor lack feelings for what she has suffered. But IMHO, it is a descration to use these fallen heros names to further her cause.
As to "KFC"...Oh No! Now is that very nice??? Not a Hillary fan, but that's an ouch!
Not finger lickin' good???...Laff! I see you are in struttin' form tonight, Dan.

Heh, heh.
How about equal time for Jeanine Pirro?
I must say that Hillary has been Much more of a Centrist than many would have guessed, and her colleagues on the Hill would probably not put her on the same list with Ted Kennedy and Michael Moore.
The uber-liberal tag is not appropriate for Ms. Clinton.
Gheesh! Cindy Sheehan is being an American and has more than paid the price to have her say. So what if one disagrees with her; where does the hyperbole of 'traitor' and 'treason' come in?
America, the land of Free Speech and Personal Liberty, Unless we disagree with you, in which case you are being brainwashed by the Left? This hypocrisy from those who claim to support American ideals is astonishingly self-serving and short sighted.
And why is it always "Support the Troops"? Shouldn't it be 'I Support the Troops"?
Probably the most stupifying logic I read about this conflict is that if more people got behing supporting the Iraqi war, fewer soldiers would die.
Make an unwinnable (I can't remember; this is to stop terrorism?) fight bigger, and less people will die? Please, PLEASE, explain that to me.
Mary, !, somebody...?

Dick Cheney in a post-mortem on the first Gulf War at the Soref Symposium, 4/29/1991:
"I think that the proposition of going to Baghdad is also fallacious. I think if we were going to remove Saddam Hussein we would have had to go all the way to Baghdad, we would have to commit a lot of force because I do not believe he would wait in the Presidential Palace for us to arrive. I think we'd have had to hunt him down. And once we'd done that and we'd gotten rid of Saddam Hussein and his government, then we'd have had to put another government in its place.
What kind of government? Should it be a Sunni government or Shi'i government or a Kurdish government or Ba'athist regime? Or maybe we want to bring in some of the Islamic fundamentalists? How long would we have had to stay in Baghdad to keep that government in place? What would happen to the government once U.S. forces withdrew? How many casualties should the United States accept in that effort to try to create clarity and stability in a situation that is inherently unstable?
I think it is vitally important for a President to know when to use military force. I think it is also very important for him to know when not to commit U.S. military force. And it's my view that the President got it right both times, that it would have been a mistake for us to get bogged down in the quagmire inside Iraq."

She has a right to speak her mind, but she sure goes out of her way to put down the soldier. If not for them, she may not be able to run her mouth like that. What a sad testament for her hero son.
