No, it's trash. Only takes reading a few lines into the blog to see where this persons ass is.

That's no conservative-that's a moonbat! Whew...

Yes, the writer is treading water on the border of lunacy, but his BASIC premise is spot on. Rush Limbaugh may align himself with the current cause celebre of Republicans, but is not a Conservative. The current administration is NOT Conservative. Allowing government spending to spiral out of control, giving tax breaks to corporations that do not neet assistance (giving $2.7 billion in tax breaks to companies like Exxon/Mobil, who NETTED over 7 billion dollars last quater alone), ignoring State's Rights on issues such as medical marijuana, and starting pre-emptive wars to enrich connected corporations are NOT Conservative principles. Never criticizing a politician who errs because they belong to the same party, or hate gays, or CLAIM to be Christian, is disingenuous at best. Yes, Rush Limbaugh is deceptive and not a true Conservative.

I consider myself a political conservative, but, this guy is so far to the right it's scary.Pure ammunition for Democrats who'll say we're all like this.

I am amazed by the comments here. Not one person diputed this person's blog with FACTS just more "rah-rah" groupthink. Can you show where the facts are wrong? Of course not. Because they aren't. Anyone with a semblence of education on the Constitution knows about Limbaugh and many others touting themselves as conservative. Your attacks on this person's blogs show your true viability as an American. You ARE the "far right" which is nothing different than the far left. Sad testamony to the success of the public school system. Before attacking someone, it is a good idea to have some facts backing your assertions. These negative comments show nothing but airhead responses to relevant questions...which...of course, you dare not answer, even if you had the ability.

Though this person seems a little nutty and writes poorly, they are basically correct. Limbaugh is not a conservative. Then, again, most persons calling themselves conservative are not. "Conservative" doesn't mean acting like a jack-ass because you hate Barbara Streisand and stupidly wave a flag you know not for what it stands. A conservative
...believes in fiscal responsibility. This country, run by fake "conservatives", does not practice good fiscal responsibility.
...believes in less government. Period. The problem with this country is that the liberals pretend to hate big government because they are lax on drug rights and police powers. Yet they are huge tax-and-spenders, advocates of bloated bureaucracy, and disrespect the 2nd amendment. The fake "conservatives" pretend to hate big government because they defend the 2nd amendment and work to make the climate better for small businesses (though I give them only mixed reviews for this). Yet they, too, are tax-and-spenders, and are using this fake "war" climate to introduce a Big Brother state.
...believes in a good, Christian-based moral ethic that pervades society. Most fake "conservatives" I meet are disgustingly profane, and behave like the liberals they hate, drinking heavily, admiring violence, making derisive sexual comments about women.
...believes in non-intervention. This Iraq endeavour is beyond moronic, but has given me an opportunity to see just who the true conservatives are.
I suggest that y'all pay a visit to the website of true conservative Congressman Ron Paul, R-Texas. You'll readily see the difference between phonies like Limbaugh and true conservatives.

OK MJH Here's a substitute classless for ya:
Moralizing about social trends and the breakdown of values while bugging on illegal drugs. I had a period where I had to take painkillers for a month; towards the end when I didn't need them as bad I could get as high as Any weed.
After a month my doc just made me deal with it, and that was that.
When you're his kind of manipulator, you'll say anything for your john.

Hubert...excellent post
And you are right...Ron Paul is the only congressman that will not violate the Constitution. Even his own republican party contributed to his democratic opponent in the last election to try to unseat him. They failed. Shows the truth about these so called "conservatives"-just a little right of far left. Too bad there is only one like him in office.

Anybody got a good Ron Paul site?
I never heard of the guy. Or it didn't stick.

LOL
Posted by: MrsJimiHendrix | Friday, August 05, 2005 at 05:12 PM
Of course i was talking about Rush. You had a classless act attached to the wrong guy, so I provided a 'substitute' classless act for you to use.
Rush Limbaugh's husband is named John?

I like the new Wolf Watch blog. I used to listen to Rush often. Then I became a Christian and soon realized he doesn't share our worldview. I can't listen to him or many other so-called conservative talk radio hosts with their incessant promotion of globalism and unconstititional undeclared war.
