Breaking News: EarthQuake Hits Aruba

Joe Houston, speaking on behalf of EquuSearch appeared on Hannity and Colmes this evening and stated that the search is bogged down due to a lack of heavy equipment.

Apparently, while the group was provided with a donated Backhoe, Mr. Houston now feels that from three to four Bulldozers are required to strip off the top layer of the entire approximately two acre land fill to a depth of one foot down to the relevant dumping time period. That would be followed up in additional stripping actions in of 3 - 4 inch increments - within the depth most-likely filled during the pertinent time frame.

Authorities are reported to have already searched this land fill after a witness came forward over a month ago. That witness claims to have watched a group of individuals place what appeared to be a container with a female body inside, presumably in a particular spot, as they then, according to the witness, covered the body with a plastic covering of some sort.

Given that this search has now moved from said location given by the witness, to the entire land fill, it is only safe to conclude that a massive earthquake struck the tiny island while the world was looking the other way, perhaps searching for Natalee Holloway in Venezuela.

Sorry folks, but land fill aside, this is getting to be garbage time, indeed. Also, it was noted that hope may yet reside in an undisclosed report and unnamed witness found by private investigator. IN a last bit of irony, the private investigator, for once, had nothing more to say.

Developing ...but very hazy. Must be the light.

It is really counter-productive to slander Beth or Dave. Who is to say what you might do as a parent. I would be unglued, unbalanced and ballistic knowing if my beautiful daughter was missing. They are both a class act and have different roles in the investigation. We might take a moment to praise their efforts, instead of denegrating their actions. We all make mistakes. I have total RESPECT for both Beth and Dave. It is a pity that Natalee has not been found. Name calling has never helped anyone. Give it a rest folks and look for the positive. I can't imagine the anguish, frustration, hopes up and down, that are dashed must be doing to them. May a kind and loving Heavenly Father comfort them during this time. I will be saddened should they have to just let it go, just as John Walsh and his wife have had to do with no body of the son Adam. Kindness should be extolled to them both.

ashleigh Equusearch is all volunteer and they use donations to do their searchs. They need to have their name out as much as possible. Let's hope you don't need them anytime. All of us would be screaming and jumping up and down if it were one of our children unless you have a cold heart. If you don't have children maybe you have a pet (they are like children)and someone killed it and dumped it and you knew who did it but they just smiled at you and you couldn't do anything about it. I would give my life for my child and if he dissappeared I wouldn't take another easy breath until I found him. Imagine having to identify remains, not a body, and know that is your child and wonder what was done to them and if they called for you or God to help them. Then try top get that out of your mind. You don't just get over it and go on.

Did everyone see where the Texas Equuine Search team found the sixty-two year old woman's body in Houston five blocks from where she lived very quickly after her disappearance? They are a wonderful group and do a tremendous amount of good. Tim founded it and so his eccentricities are tolerated because of what he has been through.

Paul Reynolds, Beth's brother was on TV praising them tonight and saying how the family appreciated their assistance for they are the only ones searching the landfill. It needed searched with or without a witness and it is a shame they have no bulldozers to use.

Anyone see Mark Fuhrman on Greta...He should be on this case and should have been hired by the Twittys. But even at this point there is probably very little he could do given that the Aruban authorities have screwed it up so bad. And why isn't anyone talking about the INCREDIBLY CORRUPT Van Der Strotten...the FRIEND of the Van Der Sloots...He should be arrested for such an obvious and successful attempt to corrupt the investigation from the start. He should be in jail himself. I believe there needs to be more focus on this guy. Its because of HIM this case wasnt handled properly....and now the world may never know what really happened. He's as guilty as the culprits.

I'm really turned off by ES right now. I understand the rationale behind searching the dump, and God bless the volunteers, because that's a horrendous job. But, their attitude and lack of professionalism is outragious.

From the beginning of this case I've been thinking whar they could have done with the body. I couldn't come up with anything. Especially the fact that a decomposing body will smell.
Today a 'farfetched' idea crossed my mind.
What if they have the body in some kind of freezing container, till this whole thing blows over??

Greta did an interview with a police officer tonight who really didn't know anything - didn't know suspects (had seen once - no, no impressions cause never met), didn't know anything about case. Slow news night. Guess he was only one she could find to talk to.

Most revealing thing he said is he thinks Natalie is alive and off the island - said most folks in Aruba think the same thing. Said is easy to get off island, anyone can do it,and be on land like Venezuela in less than 1 hr on speed boat, and not much of problem without a passport, that illegals come and go.

Don't remember exactly what he said that made me think this , but had impression that he and many other folks from Aruba think she may have left willingly.

Here is my theory and my wish the PI would investigate the reason PVDS wasnt given the job he has been working towards all these many years....why didnt he get the judgeship? What do the Dutch know that precluded him from becoming a judge? Joran and Paulus are at the Holiday INN Casino together on Natalees last day. Paulus picks her out for HIMSELF and Joran agrees she is an easy target....made all the easier with a roofie. Paulus returns home(an empty home...his wife is in another country. A sad home...he didnt get the job and his ego is near the floor) Joran enlists the help of his buddies to help out his old pops get a piece of ass(Pops has seen how very easy it is for Joran) They slip her the drug as they are getting ready to leave the club...once she is in the car...they make haste to the Vander Sloot home. This is the crime scene ...and most likely has never been mentioned in all the 22 different stories. Paulus convinces the boys especially Joran to take the heat for short time because as Paulus has promised them "no body no crime" and it would be easier to deflect the investigation away from him and on the shoulders of a minor. Thus when Paulus agrees to waive his right not to testify against his son...he is being honest ..he knows his son is not the killer...because he is. Hope the Twitty's and the Holloways have someone in Holland that can find the reason Paulus didnt get the judgeship. Not that it would make a bit of difference now...

As sad as it is to say, I wouldn't doubt if your theory could be right. I have been extremely suspicious of PaPa VDS since the beginning, and his sweating buckets while talking on tv didn't help. Maybe he failed the exam on his first try, it's not uncommon. Over Half of the Lawyers in the USA fail their first Bar Exam. It takes some 3 or 4 times to finally pass it.
Maybe in Holland you have to pass an exam in order to be a judge to prove qualification. Not like in the USA where you run for office in an election, MANY times with no judicial experience or just get appointed by friends/party as political favor.

I also believe that Papa VDS had everything to do with this. Natalee was at there home when this all transpired I think they all sexually abused her and perhaps she died on her own or they helped her along. I do agree and not in a "cashing" way that is unfair to call beth a "hero" but ignore that dave holloway is out there in landfills looking for his child himself - while beth has done alot handing out flyers etc and I do not discount that or her pain, her and Jug are giving the whole thing a "pr" feel to me while dave is quietly out there doing actual physical searching wihtout cameras following his every move and wihtout the aide of private jets, free hotel and rental car as beth and Jug are receiving - i do nto knwo if it is true dave gets no help from the funds in natalees trust but if so that is quite sad. Calista, I agree that Dave is an amazing man. When he sat at the prison holding Paul van der Sloot's hand, I was really impressed. The thing is that he wouldn't have confronted Joran with shrieking, "Where's my daughter, Give me my daughter." He would have looked into his face and told him how he's a forgiving man, and if it was an accident, he will understand...he just wants to know what happened to his daughter. He brought Joran "The Purpose Driven Live" and a Bible. I'll tell you, Dave Holloway has left a profound effect on me. He is the walking embodiment of Christian faith in motion.

I'm tired of Jug, too. He is the stepfather, and while he obviously is a great stepfather, and adores Beth, he isn't charismatic, and most people are really, really not interested in his anger. I think many people are getting weary with hearing the same words day in and day out, day after day from both Beth and Jug. This isn't to criticize them, but, they are stuck on the same points, and regurgitate them endlessly.

Greta would keep her ratings if she now focused on Dave, not Beth and Jug. I think that the entire H/T family is incredible for how they've courageously achieved this amount of interest and activism in Aruba.

There's something about Dave Holloway that is extra special for me, too. If it turns out that Beth and Jug have made it all about their grief, their needs, and they didn't provide expenses for Dave, while they benefitted from the fund we've all donated to, it's not that I would be sorry I donated, but, I'll be disappointed that this wasn't offered to Dave and Robin for their use, as well.

But, bitterness in divorce is nothing unusual, and I think we can see that Beth, Dave and Jug aren't on the best terms. Otherwise, they'd appear together, not on split screen. I think Jug is responsible for whatever permanent schism exists. For some reason, he just seems like the type to lay down the law, and it's his way or the highway. That doesn't make him a bad person, but, this is the quality that may alienate Dave, and the quality which most people are tired of seeing on television all the time.
