Last week the FBI indicated that at least three American women have come forward since Natalee's disappearance to report that they had been sexually assaulted while vacationing in Aruba.
A popular story that's told by locals concerns an Aruban man and his sons who were fishing off the coast about a decade ago. The engine on their boat failed and they begin a slow drift that eventually carried them over 700 miles to the Panama Canal. Residents told me this story to emphasize how a person, or a body, once in the local waters could quickly drift from sight and never be found.
Big bouncers (probably wrestlers in high school), stand out front of the bar, eyeing everyone who enters. Why, I'm not sure, since children, young adults, and seniors alike are found inside. Visitors tell me they have been approached to buy drugs in this same area.
As promised, he uses a squeeze bottle to shoot shots of tequila into the willing mouths, and sometimes on the bodies of those in line who dance up to him. The women appear to get a little longer shot, but this is the islands. People are here for fun, and this is the place to have it.
I didn't stay late, but the fun continues late into the night, every night. Please know that I'm not the bar police. Young and old were having fun, something they paid for, something that almost seemed expected in this environment.
That's the way Deepak impressed me. He wasn't smug nor did he try to be cool. He was a concerned, threatened young man whose life was now caught in a time warp until this matter is resolved.
As you attempt to unwind this story you find that this little island is a maze within a maze, a human anagram. Secrets, personal concerns, fears both justified and unjustified, and wild, "off the wall" conspiracy theories abound concerning Natalee's disappearance. What I do know is that with the possible exception of the current suspects in this matter, no one has apparently come forward who really knows what happened to a missing 18-year-old girl. One who would have started college this week.

George T/moey,
Maybe their is nothing in the media about them because they were scared of being scrutinized by the likes of you, you know, people who like to vilify women in situations of sexual assault. Maybe it is simply an embarrassing thing for these young ladies to talk about and they did not want their own families to know they were violated let alone the whole world!!
(From Shonane)Why did the friends of Joran have positive things to say about him? You just asked and answered the question sir or ma'am. They had good things to say about him BECAUSE they were his friends. How is that a critical post "George T"???
And the notion that JVDS is such a hot commodity and irresistible force of nature at the age of 17 that there is a multitude of scorned, jilted lovers around the world? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
Do you people sit in a meeting and float ideas around the room of how to sound the most INSANE??

let me put this as simply as i can.
i met and interacted with a suspicious guy very tall, very tan, blonde hair, blue eyes, recently (5 yrs ago) moved over to aruba from holland, 19 years old.
while i was down in aruba from june 1st-june 11th with my roomate from college and her family. on june 9th. i went to carlos and charlies with a few peole and that night i met this kid. he took me and a friend back to our hotel later that night in his Jeep, he told me his father was head of marriot security, and that he himself worked on a parasailing boat docked near the tattoo. because of the size of the island and the personality of this young man, i have every reason to believe he knows of, if not good friends with Joran. When i was with him at the hotel we spoke about Natalee, well...I tried to bring up the issue of Natalee and he remained completely silent, which struck me as strange.
he then refused to speak until i changed the subject.
weird right?
my question is, can anyone confirm the 3 cars the gardener saw at the landfill. If anyone knows if it may have been a jeep?
ive already gave this information to authorities.
also, does anyone have any links to photos of Joran and his random bar friends. From blurred photos ive seen on the news i think i may be able to identify this guy i met.
there is more to this story than i will post at this time.

Jenna,
Just to get all the "facts" straight, it was not the gardener associated with the landfill, but the man who did allegedly witness what happened at the landfill did in fact mention a red jeep!

jayjay:
I certainly do not villify women who have been subjected to any kind of assault, sexual or otherwise.
I'm only asking questions and putting forth guesses about what might/could have happened just like everyone else.
There are no solid facts out there -- the only true fact is that Natalee Holloway is missing -- period. What happened to her or who was involved or exactly when or where whatever happened, happened, is anyone's guess. I truly do not believe that Joran knows what ultimately happened, but SOMEONE does -- its apparent by all of the strange happenings the past few weeks.

Moey,
I just went back and re-read some of your posts. I apologize for lumping you in with George T. You clearly are not the stark, raving lunatic that he is.

Did Joran or any of the people known to be invovled own a red jeep?
Ive notified the FBI he may be a person of interest, what else could i possibly do?

My gut tells me that this guy (whos name i'll conseal for now), that i met while i was down there knows something. whether he was witness to it or was told about it.
the kids jeep was red. this could all be meaningless knowlegde but something just wants me to make sure.

Thanks - I think that is the first time in my life that anyone has characterized me as a lunatic - I'm really more of a regular, mousey, behind-the-scenes type of person. Thanks - interesting stuff here and on 146 today. Lots to chew on.

If given enough money by the Twittys Mansur will even procure the fabled "Seventy-two heavenly virgins" willing to testify that Joran had drugged, and raped them all! Hah, hah!
