Someone starts a web log ABOUT your web log ... even if they do wish to destroy it and smear you in the process. But I have a kind heart, so visit the site and show your support.
It's true that no one can hear you scream in cyberspace ... that isn't a bad thing, really; however, I'm starting to think straight jackets might be a welcome and very much needed addition.
no one is holding a gun to your head here. if you don't like what you see just get out of your house a bit more

...and by honest, caring, well-intentioned people, I was not referring to Island Hopper. I could care less about his/her issues, whatever they may be.

I have been reading here also, pretty much since the beginning, and have never posted before. What's the big deal with that? Some people like to just read and not get caught up in all the sparring. I'm sure there are many hundreds others just like me. I have emailed Dan a couple of times, and he knows I have a valid email address and am not Island Hopper nor do I know her or anyone else who posts here. I told him a few weeks back about how MrsJimiHendrix had been making this blog become her own little chatbox, just like LegalBeagle stated...everything LegalBeagle said is true cause I felt the same way but did not have the nerve to post...till now cause it has really gotten out of control, and now even reading here where LegalBeagle was just saying exactly how I feel too, she is attacked and called names. And I know there must be many more who feel this way but won't post here, they just as soon not say anything. I didn't want to either, but this is ridculus with you attacking LegalBeagle and calling her Island Hopper, just cause she states what she has seen going on here. I too started feeling like this is MrsJimiHendrix own little forum, and she became just as annoying as the one who she professes to hate. You,(MrsJimiHendrix) were no longer even posting on what the forum was about. Believe me when I say that I have been here reading since the beginning and I read everyday after work until the wee hours of the morning and on the weekends, and on my day off every Friday. Why, cause I'm a mother too and this could have happened to anyone's son or daughter.. which is why I came to this blog in the first place, from a link someone had posted on an AOL news forum. And before anyone else jumps all over me about what I have to say, let me ask you aren't we all entitled to our own opinions without someone calling us names? And MrsJimiHendrix I think it was very rude of you to say the f word to LegalBeagle. She never said a dispareging remark to you and yet you are the one who immediately turned this ugly. I emailed Dan a couple of days ago and asked him for Island Hoppers blog link so I could read up on what she had to say, (cause she did use to post alot of information on this blog, until she started acting as if she was the moderator) and lo and behold there was a link to her site on his blog yesterday. I also read Scared Monkeys blog cause I like to find out as much information as I can from all sources. I'm sure Dan does not feel threatned by Island Hopper's blog as he has quite a big following from many loyal readers which include me. I'm not going anywhere, I will still be here reading every day like I have been. Please excuse my spelling errors.
