Is there a fine for driving under the influence of stoopidity? There should be.

Wasn't that incredible? It really is shocking how stupid people can be. Why couldn't she have left the dog at home or better yet, call her ex and say her car wasn't big enough to haul the kids to him and ask him to come pick them up? What a dumby!

A DWD, Yep.....she needs to be charged for that. That is a classic DWD - DRIVING WHILE DUMB.

What the article does NOT say is that the back seat was flipped down and the air was circulating throughout the car. The mother was able to see and hear them at all times. Nonetheless, it wasn't a very bright thing to do. She was charged with two counts of neglect.

Maybe some of the trolls are right, we should just line up all the really really stupid evil people in the world and hire a firing squad.
Lord, help us.

I am not staying what the mom did was right by any means.. but if in fact the seat was folded down.. You know kids will play one parent against the other if they don't get their way.. I am not saying this was the case at all.. She shouldn't have had that many kids in one car anyway, but before judging everybody, we should know all the facts first. We are only hearing one side.

"...but if in fact the seat was folded down..."
Call me stupid BUT, where did the back seat fold down into? Surely if it were folded down, the back seat would then be unusable right?
If it was still usable, then this comment is moot, "...air was circulating throughout the car. The mother was able to see and hear them at all times." I mean, how can air circulate and there be any visibility if the rest of the kids are sitting in front of the opening?!
I'll pull the trigger!

It is unfortunate that things like this happen, and hope that at the very least this woman is on the receiving end of some education. But it is also unfortunate that we allow stories like this to make us angry, or use them to make us feel good about ourselves. I don't really think it is helpful for us to hear stories like this.

Not even human ! What was she thinking ? Oh, i forgot she does not have a brain.

She couldn't have been thinking! I have a pontiac bonneville sse and in the middle of the back seat there is a little door that leads into the trunk, I can't imagine putting kids in there for any reason. The seats don't fold down, If she were in my state, among other charges from police, she would have been charged 125 per person not properly buckled up and I am sure our Child services would have her kids until this was investigated thoroughly. People that do this crap, usually are doing A LOT more that we see.
