Witness Reports Confusing In Natalee Holloway Investigation

Reports suggest that CNN has made contact with what was thought to be a key witness brought forward by Twitty/Holloway family private investigator, T.J. Ward. Ward is a private investigator with the firm Investigative Consultants International out of Georgia.

He was recently praised and quoted extensively at Scared Monkeys from a recent Larry King appearance:

And I went door-to-door today in the racquet ball club and was able to locate another witness, who described the vehicle in question, owned by the Kalpoe boys, and they were able to tell me and describe, clearly, the car in question, being in the area and in the racquet club, around the homes, about six weeks ago, which was estimate somewhere after the 29th and 30th of May.

After she gave me a description, I went and obtained a picture of the car that was obtained by law enforcement, on the 29th of May and 30th, and brought the picture back to her.

And she was able to describe the car to a “t.” And what was interesting that stuck out was the taillights — who had custom taillights on it with clear covers over red lights. And not only did she describe those taillights, but she described it all the way down to the wheels of the silver Honda Accord, which very may well be the vehicle in question ...

Now sources suggest the witness, a Columbian woman, was later questioned by police, who stated she never did identify the car of Deepak Kalpoe. Also, the woman apparently only speaks Spanish. Her report to Ward is said to have come via a local man who then passed the story along to the P.I.

She is said to have spotted an unidentified car near her home approximately six weeks ago. As she's been looking after the home of a neighbor, currently off the island - she had noticed one car driving slowly through the area while on her way home from a minimarket.

Realizing there was an expensive Harley inside the garage of the neighbor's home, she feared someone may be trying to steal it. Although it was daylight, she was unable to identify the car but did notice its dark tinted windows. When asked, she thought the car might have been Blue in color. Now it's said she told CNN today the car may have actually been green.

She next spotted a suspicious vehicle one night approximately 2 - 3 days later but does not know if it was the same car. The car didn't stop but she remained concerned for the neighbor's Harley. According to sources, when supposedly questioned earlier on the issue pursuant to the Holloway Investigation, she thought she may have been being questioned as regards a possible robbery.

It's also alleged that she now claims not to have told investigator Ward she saw the Kalpoe car. Still later that same night, she said it had to be after midnight but she wasn’t sure, she saw yet another car slowly passing by; she noticed that the tail lights were clear as as it passed.

As the woman lives with two small children in a house on a cul-de-sac, she is said to be somewhat nervous as regards automobile traffic in general because much of the area is still under construction. When asked if the car could have passed on May 30th, she said no, as these events transpired after her neighbors left the island in early June.

It's unclear why conflicting reports are coming from the island in this regard.

Six weeks ago, Joran and Kalpoe brother's were in Jail, who do you think was driving their car? The Honda was initially searched by the LE on May 31st and a GPS was installed in it. It remains impounded since June 10th, so maybe it was Uncle Jossy and the LE looking for Gardener #1 who they later found trying to duck tape blond extentions in his hair so he can compete in the Aruba Windsurfing Championships and win the $10,000 prize so that he could afford airconditioning?

That is disgusting news that someone would do that to the Holloways. Maybe someone offered her "more" money than the reward money is to deny it.
Who knows what to believe anymore. It happens in all kinds of cases all the time here in the states as well.
Guess they do not have a law against pergury in Aruba. People can say anything and get away with it. Thats a damn shame, too !

tj ward has a really good reputation with law enforcement. there is no reason for him to distort any information. he is there to find answers period. if this woman now wants to renege or waffle on her claims when facing the police, well that's a pity. he will keep digging regardless.

The inmates of the insane asylum are now in charge of the Natalee Holloway investigation.
The mother is one move away from a straight-jacket. Tim Miller is being used as a publicity stunt for continued media attention to this case. One cannot help but feel sorry for Miller now that he has been assigned to the garbage dump. Jossy Mansur (one of the local Godfathers) is digging up witnesses in the backyard of his tabloid newspaper. While the PI Ward, who does not speak the language goes door to door in Aruba.
The only bright spot now in this whole fiasco is Arlene Schipper. What a cutie she is.

There are plenty of PI's interested and unbiased from the US. Hire one that will work in conjunction with the Aruban PI.

The slow work of the police, the lack of progress and if that were me, once I found out Joran's father was friends with inside investigaters I would have had lost any thread of reason and come out swinging. Beth Twitty is to be commended for her strong countenance and poise during unimaginable circumstances.

I don't read too much into this since Ward doesn't speak spanish and was relying on a translator. Funny how people are quick to jump on him when he was hired by the family.

No matter where you are in the world, LE uses locals to solve most crimes. And that works because the LE is also locals. Only a local PI who understands the locals is going to get anything done of value in Aruba. The locals will run an outside PI around in circles. What was that line for Cool Hand Luke? As far as Scared Monkeys, don't get me started!

It's a touchy topic here, causes alot of arguments. I never posted at SM, but always checked their site for updates. After a recent attack on Dan's blog, I can assure you, I won't be visiting them again.

The only reason I pop in to SM is to see if they are Dan Bashing. I'm not registered there, so I can't see the posts. But, I do monitor their topics.

IMO, Scared Monkeys is a LITTLE biased. It appears to me they have their own agenda.

You are either a monkey or not. I chose to not be one of the Monkeys! Just as Equusearch has their hand out for donations, SM is following the example.

FYI, I contacted Dan in an email abouting donating money to his site, ya know what, he never answered. I have emailed him several times....and he has replied. Not once has he mentioned where to send money, although I asked him.

Sorry to get off the topic. Just wanted to say if SM praises someone, IMO, maybe it is irrelevant.

I suspect she was threatened. I personally smell FEAR more than opportunist. Someone is still trying to make sure that this case goes no where. So who has the most to loose should this case get solved?

MUIRNIN- I agree with you for the most part. But I have to say that during the month of June I felt the SM site was way ahead with regard to "theory and speculation". Now, it has changed a great deal. The banter is driving me nuts! There are some great posters there (as well as a couple of great zoo keepers), but it seems to have become a "support NH no matter what" site rather than an objective one.
I've lurked around Dan's place since the beginning of June. Almost posted him about my first salmon catch when he told his fish tale... Anyway, I believe a smattering of information from multiple sources is always the best way to be informed and am disappointed to see the trio battling amongst themselves over tidbit trivia information (and who posts it first) that nine times out of ten turns out to be insignificant as far as this case is concerned.
However, my hat is off to anyone of them that can put up with some of the crazy posts to their sites!

Sorry Annie, I really don't know you and usually I only read the comments sometimes
but where the heck do you get an idea like that. Have I missed something, this is not a movie but real life. The VDS nor the brothers are that important on the Island for so much cover-up.
There are so many unsolved cases here in the US,do you think any suspect would be in jail as long as Joran without bail. NO WAY

I agree with Katie.......Dave Holloway is a kind man who is determined to find his daughter but doesn't belittle others in the process. Too bad the same can't be said of Beth and Jug. I've heard Jug call Joran's father an "obnoxious slimeball" more than once. I know they're hurting but alienating others helps no one and character assasination is plain wrong. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. My heart aches for Dave H. but Beth and Jug come off as spoiled children who are used to getting their way.

Jossy Mansur is a real piece of work. He digs up witnesses and trots them out for the police and tells the media about his "witness" and then says that he has not idea of really why the LE is draining a body of water. Says that the LE must have something that we do not know about to go to all that trouble to drain that body of water. Jossy is a fraud and most likely evil at the core of his being.

TJ Ward was just on Nancy Grace, and he was questioned abot this witness. He stuck by his story and about how credible she was, and what she said.

I personally think TJ loves the media a little toomuch, however, I don't think he would come up with a false witness. It sounds like this lady has been intimidated and is recanting her story.

Sounds like to me that the PI was just trying too hard and came the the investigation with his mind made up. Not a good thing to do if one is not privy to all the prior LE work done and evidence.
One can really make a big fool of themselves in that kind of situation.

Perhaps the woman is giving conflicting reports due to the fact that she does have small children and fears that her involvement in this case may do harm either to her or her family. It may not be physical harm but maybe something else. When you are a witness, I believe that your personal life is closely examined to see how credible to really are. Perhaps she accepting money from drug lords secretly for her children, perhaps she has involvement in the past with someone she would rather not discuss, or perhaps she fears that her children will be taken away because she is seen as not being able to provide for them. You never know. Maybe she figues that if she changes her story enough, she will be left a lone because she regrets getting involved in the first place.

A wise crack would be she doesn't want to be involved because she has a secret child fathered by Daddy Van der Sloot or the Kapoles. More than likely FALSE but you never know. Everyone has their skeletons!

Dave Holloway I feel is very sincere. Jug Twitty..I do not care for. He is always trying
to add more drama..or let you think there is
info coming..and it never happens.

I can't imagine the loss of a child. BUT Beth
Twitty is also getting on my nerves. Someone is
gonna have to sit her down and say Hey!! Wake UP!! you have a son at home. You have to let go

prior to anyone hiring him. After he was down
there..he convinced the Twitty's..he was their

If Beth Twitty were financing all of the searches,
her motel, her food, her airfare..I say sure!!
She should do whatever she wants with her time
and her money.

BUT..the FBI ain't her money!! Neither are the
hotels, most of the food, the searches.

She needs to say THANK YOU!!! to all of the above..and make a decision to go home..or
finance her search with her own money!!

After two months..of donations..the arubians,

Somebody mentioned "witch hunt", I think it was Jessie, well that person couldn't be more right.I became interested in this particular case because my husband and I are going to aruba in a couple months ( can't wait).I remember one Of the MBHS mother making a threadon the Aruba BB for help about a missing teen and Natalle was in my heart ever sense.

But during the last 2 months (almost) I have seen people accuse not only a whole family but all the suspects friends of some terrible involvement without one shed of factual informationjust speculation and the excuse of an opinion. the hate posts againts the VDS family is more scary than if they were actaully involved.
Most of these posts that are so hate filled come from Christians, I think some forgot to tell them that the rules apply to them also.

I care about Natalee and the truth but will not cast the first stone until the facts are all in.

As to having no evidence, Joran's actions are evidence enough. For the first six weeks I believed that it was just a big mess that would eventually come to light. No longer. Joran's not taking the natural steps of an innocent person. He's doing everything he can to thwart the Holloway's quest to find their daughter, and not cooperating.

It screams guilt.

Actually his actions are sreaming the opposite, mind you I am highly suspious of their involvement in her disappearance,
but changing stories so many times could be anything from it was 2:15 no I mean 2:16.
As for their intial lie they were scared out of their mind on being the last person to be seen with Natalee and in their mind she would turn up in a day or two. As for the ATTORNEYS wanting to object to everything is normal behavior because guess what the cops and prosecuters are not always honest either

The media is reporting that they have "witness" that says he saw the body of a blond haired woman being removed from the Holiday Inn on the morning that NH went missing. Says the body was put in a white truck and headed north toward the lighhouse.

The other "witness" has a white truck placing something that looked like a body in the municipal dump at the southeast end of the island.

LE now draining the body of water across the road from the Marriott.

The mother of NH is delusional if she thinks she may be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Lady, that light you see is more likely a train, and the engineer is likely Jossy Monsur. It might be wise if you stepped of that track.
