I have been holding off on linking this per the requests of several people. I simply haven't been able to come up with any solid information - and was afraid it was a hoax.
Recent emails with regular reader and pain in the but MJH assure me she has spoken to authorities and had contact with a family member. Other individuals have since emailed confirmations, too. I also saw Glenn Reynolds linked it today. It appears as this is legit. A young woman has gone missing and there isn't a hint of news coverage.
As many people stated when Natalee went missing, children disappear every day. Just when people take this fact seriously, then some nutcase like Jennifer Wilbanks (the Runaway Bride from Georgia) pulls a stunt like she did, or someone like the girl from Texas disappears purposely for seven years, and no one cares anymore. People just carelessly assume that a missing young woman wants to be missing. I can't believe that any family would feel so helpless that they would do virtually nothing about their daughter's disappearance. How sad. I hope they get the help they need, and some counseling, too.

FYI i have spoken with the mom and the aunt and this is not a runaway case or an incompetent mom
either way it doesn't really matter what you think does it?

Till you know what's going on, might I suggest you zip your lip and do some research . . . or are you that unhappy of a person that you delight in condemning other's trials to "somehow" validate your existence? I TRULY feel pity for you.
