The image at right is an overhead view of the home of Joran Van der Sloot, currently being held as a suspect in the Natalee Holloway disappearance. Ironically, as this picture was snapped the Van der Sloot parents, Paul(us) and Anita both happened to be outside.
A link to a larger image below shows Paul(us) v d Sloot talking to an indivdual who appears to have arrived in a furniture truck. Anita can be clearly seen making her way from the house towards Paul(us) and the other individual. What appear to be items of furniture can be seen, as well.
It has not been confirmed as to whether or not the Van der Sloots are planning a move. Some sources suggest they may be selling off furniture to pay for legal expenses accrued through a drawn out investiigation involving their eldest son. ALso, the family may have simply decided it was time for some new furniture.
As there is a much larger image available, Ian at The Political Teen has agreed to host it. Click to visit Ian.

Only problem with that annie is that when BH is standing facing the front of the VDS house the VDS property extends much further to her left before she moves to her right to enter the gate. And there is a narrow dirt road behind her as she faces the VDS house.

Yes, but she was standing approximately where the back of the truck is in this photo. There is a road-size space between where their fence ends (look at the bottom right corner of the photo and see where the fence line is) and the white fence next door. That is the dirt path that Beth is on. I think they match up quite well. I think because the truck is in this photo, it is throwing you off because you don't get to see the "gate". The truck is placing your perspective off for some reason. Everything matches up perfectly to the video from what I can see.

Now where the hell to you think BH was standing when she moved to the right to enter the gate? In the enclosed back yard of the house on the right with the white fense? Because that is where she would have to be.

It seems incredulous that if someone actually did see a body being dumped at a garbage dump, wouldn't you make an effort to return to the exact spot and actually take a better look, when the dumpsters party had left, then call authorities? Why would anyone just call the police first, without looking? A sane person would look more closely. Hmmmm.... that million dollar reward is bringing out the shysters. However, if he did call police immediately, why wasn't the body found. It is apparent that justice will not be meted out to those 3 young men or the father. I will NEVER visit Aruba after this incident, knowing that the police have done a major cover-up and bungled the case and their arrogance not to allow the FBI to truly participate and give direction, has scared me off this island paradise FOREVER. Shame on Van Der Straaten and the police force.
And why the hell, do the police not obtain a search warrant to check out the well on VDS residence? What is with that? Oh, PVDS is one of their buddies, I get it. This cover-up will never be solved. My heart goes out to the Holloway family. Shame on Deepak and Satish and Joran and Paul. May God's judgement be the one they are most afraid of.

Tom:
Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen
They did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now

canada goose,
Jan van der straaten no longer works on this case (he is with pension).Just because they don't give any information to the media does not mean they are covering this up. Joran van der sloot is NOT important to ARUBA!! remember the truth will always always come out. I don't believe in the "perfect murder". I just pray everyday that she is still alive.
love and peace,
aruban

Old thread I'm posting on here, but I had to throw my $.02 in.
If you save and blowup that picture, it looks like two people talking near the truck door, and two people carrying something either to or from the truck.
If you blow it up large, the person who is walking towards the camera point of view is carrying a small three legged table, thus making the circular shadow on the ground.
This is what I'm seeing folks. Not that it means anything, just posting what I see. Four, possibly 5 people, two talking at truck, two carrying stuff, possibly one person obscured by trees.

In 1992, when my son was about to enter his senior year of high school, he chose to drop out of school, take his GED, then get into college. Two years later, he graduated from a two year college, and then he disappeared.
His friends did not know where he was, and all of his relatives kept a look out for him everywhere we drove in the city where I lived.
I could not sleep, I could not eat, and I drove out every night after work while the sun was still out, and he was nowhere.
He was missing from 1992 until 1997, when I happened to meet a young man through my job working for the county, and he knew who my son was.
Coincidentally, I was able to reunite with my son, after this young man I met, told my son that his mom was looking for him. The next day I received a telephone call from my son telling me
that he was alright, but living on the streets and that he was ready to come home that week
with his new fiancee.
We were reunited that Saturday, Five years after he disappeared.
My son is now 32 years old with a family of his own, and happily married.
God has blessed me with bringing my son home.
So for those of you that think I don't know how to grieve for a missing child, take it from me. I have been there.

Hey folks. Just checking in again after being out of town for a few days at a family wedding. After taking a good close look at the truck in Dan's picture, I have to disagree that it's a furniture truck. On very close inspection you can see that it really appears to be a small refrigerated delivery truck. (Look at the upper door hinges, and the thickness of the doors) Considering the the VDS consider themselves to be "upper-crust" it would stand to reason they would want to have food stuffs delivered from their native Netherlands. The company catering to those needs in Aruba is DANA INTERNATIONAL, which goes under the name of DANA'S WOONIDEE NV. This is an excerpt from their web site: "One of the most specialized export companies in Europe who export food products all over the world.
Dana also has import companies in the caribbean markets, Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire."
Two of the most popular products they send over to Aruba are canned and frozen dog food, and I do believe the Van der Snots have a couple of those not so wee beasties.
Here's the web site: http://www.euronet.nl/~jerriane/
This seems much more likely than their selling off furniture, especially considering the size and type of truck...too small. Besides, no way the VDS would risk that kind of embarassment with all the press and PI's snooping around.

The well, is supposedly abandoned, therefore, would not be drinking water.
I understand that Aruba has city water, so the abandoned well on the van der Sloot property that Paulus does not allow anyone to search, is probably where Natalee is, and is not the family drinking water.
So if it is an abandoned well, does a body deteriorate in water?
I wonder why the FBI has not insisted on a search of the well?
I understand that the house and the property have been searched, but Paulus did not allow search of the Well. Why?

I have read several of the articles on the death of Chaundra Levy, but suddenly nothing else has been done.
Condit was the last person seen with her, and the wife of Condit showed up in Washington, DC, the same week that Chaundra Levy disappears, so why couldn't the police ask the wife of Condit some questions with a lie detector test?
Mrs. Condit says she does not know what Chaundra looks like, but I bet she knew where her husband's townhouse is, and the blood splatter was found on the venetian blinds in the living room, and on the bathroom sink, so why did she get skipped from all the lie detector test questions?
When I have a gut feeling about things, and I have dreams about crimes and whodunit.
I would like to ask if the Police would ask Mrs. Condit some questions about what she was doing those days she was in Washington, about the time, Chaundra came up missing.
Maybe she didn't do it, but she might know who did.
