I think I'm first!

Dan,
I listened to the webcast. I now understand your method of blogging alot clearer. You mentioned dangling the red meant, which parallels your riddles. I also found that if I wanted the latest news, that you have access to it, before it hits the TV. Many times I have found that to be true. This is my first blogging experience and I've come to understand it alot better since listening to your audiotape. It was interesting to hear your perspective on the Holloway case. I wish you continued success with your blog.

Corrected to say "dangling meat". Can you add an edit button to the blog? I always find my spelling errors after I post.

Dan,

Gotta say I listened and shut the interview off half way through. Who the hell cares that you think you're a celebrity now?

Only you. The interview revealed nothing new about the NH case.

I think your blog has far less substance than SM's blog has had in the NH case. But since hope springs eternal I continue to tune in to yours just to check out the comments that are left by intelligent individuals in the hopes of gleaning something NEW from the debris.

Yeah, I know you have a full time job and all that rot but again, who cares?????

It was your choice to become a blogger.

I've been blogging far longer than you and recently had a New York Times reporter call and ask to interview me regarding my experiences with red tide. (Which I'd been blogging about for a while.)

Getting the MSM in on the hype around red tide is the last thing that will help the situation as far as I'm concerned. So I declined. I don't blog to bring attention to myself or to ask for inevitable blegs. I blog because my heart cries out for justice. Yeah, in case you didn't figure it out by now, I'm just another one of those bleeding heart liberals that actually cares about the poor , the downtrodden, the state of our country, and the moral decay that has spawned so many psychopaths like Jessica Lunsford's killer, the Dartmouth murderers, and most recently, the degenerate that stole poor Shasta Groene's innocence as well as her family.

Life sucks. As I stated on your blog once before 40,000 kids go missing each year in Florida alone. Most are too poor to get any media attention.

Yet, my heart sears for BHT becuase I recognize that she stands for the heartache that each and every one of these missing kids represent for their families.

She, unlike other mothers of crime victimes, has not only captured our hearts, but has also won the attention of the FBI, the Alabama govenor, Trent Lot, Texas Equasearch, etc. etc., etc.

Good for her. It hasn't helped her a damned bit though, (in finding her daughter). She'll get caught up in the book and movie deal afterwards and hopefully this will help other dumb parents realize that they need to exert a little tough love here and there on their teens in order to keep order and stability in the Christian homes.

Why are the inmates running the assylum, when parents like the Holloway/Twitty's have enough smarts to say no to a dangerous proposition?

I've already explained how I handled my kids when they came to me expecting their own "rites of passage."

Natalee is dead. She is now somewhere beautiful, away from this sick world.

I shudder at the evil in our world. Some of it has even appeared on your website, Dan, and you know it.

That's it.

I'm done ranting and raving.

May justice still be served to the perps of this awful crime.

Just stop pumping yourself up like a balloon.

We only care about Natalee and her family- not about your PR stunts on Fox and radio.

Thanks for the site, anyhow. It's fun to check in every now and then and come away disappointed, but HEY... most of us including you (and me) suspected from the getgo that this was how the NH case would ultimately come down.

Perhaps the hair on the duct tape will ultimately be the smoking gun that proves there's a just god.

Bring on the jeers for your fans, Dan.

Sheeple mentality is why America is such a great place to live.

Globetrotter,

Go pick on someone your own size.............

Globetrotter,

Great interview Dan!

I agree with much of what you say, Globetrotter, though I think that you're a little hard on Dan. Not that I think there's been a lot of substance to his Fox appearances. But as you say, it is a tough world, and Dan is only doing what our competitive society tells him to. Don't pick on him. He's a decent guy, and has shown remarkable restraint and a relative lack of bias while covering this case.

I doubt that the Holloway family is a "tough love" family. That's a bunch of crap that's been fed to working class and less educated families in order to help reinforce the strong father mentality that governs this country. It doesn't really exist in affluent families from sparkling communities like the Holloways.

"I've been blogging far longer than you and recently had a New York Times reporter call and ask to interview me regarding my experiences with red tide. (Which I'd been blogging about for a while.)"

Sounds like "Bloggers Envy".

Dan, I truly appreciate your blog and all your efforts. I know you could easily move on to other popular topics (Red Tide for example), but your dedication to this particular event is Globetrotter and the rest of us continue to read it.

PS: I am not a troll, just someone who has been reading your blog for about 7 weeks and finally found a reason to post.

i got to NYU and we are loyal listners to that show in the student U normally we have three or four laptops with the Subject To Discuss show on for others to listen to it, normally about 100 plus are listening.

awesome blog we love hearing you guys and then checking out your blogs

Dan, I listend to your webcast talk. A lot of air time and exposure. Great discussions...Great responses. Congrats...thanks for posting so we could listen!

Dan, what do you know about the bone the New York woman found a few days ago. She was on Greta tonight (July 18) telling about finding the bone with flesh on it. She said she took it to the police. She also said she told the Equisearch people and they took her back to the site to show them where she found it. Then they (Equisearch) found a pair of thongs and a yellow hair schrunchie there. This was the first I've heard about this. Oh she also said she went back to the police with the Equisearch people and they (police) said something about two other bones. Why are we not hearing more about this? This sounds like it would be very important doesn't it?

UNfortunately, that's the problem with the Dutch system. If it is evidence, they are prohibited from discussing. So, when you get to the end game, you either have a boat load of evidence and possible conviction ... or you have a botched investigation and a cold trail with lost, or mishandled evidence.

Take your pick. Maybe we'll find out someday. But, then, again ... maybe not. Hard to say at this point.

I think that the Dutch/Arubans are trying to build the strongest case possible in absence of a body. I give them the benefit of the doubt. It's hard to predict whether or not there will be a conviction without a body, but I am very, very confident that the Dutch/Aruban prosecution will have Joran and Paul guessing right up 'til the verdict is read whether or not he's going to be put on ice.

I am guessing that the investigation is going very well, based on all the evidence that appears to have been collected and based upon Jug's comments about "... if they let them go based upon what we know." If Jug knows, the prosecution knows.

It actually sounds as though the investigators are doing this in a thorough and professional manner.

That's one interpretation, Earl. And why I don't jump all over the Aruban Gov. At the same time, I detest the system as it is open to corruption due to a lack of transparency.

It's theirs ... I get that, but frankly, they can have it IMO.

The Aruban investigators can easily hide behind, "we do not release any information about the case" so they do not have oto be subject to methodical scrutiny and analysis by professionals who are highly experienced. The fact that this woman found the bone on 07.06, turned it into the Polis that day, and never heard from them since that day? Greta ran into the woman, by chance, and then took the woman to the station in NOORD where she had turned it in, and insisted on some followup.
Yikes! We know so little in our pusuit of the truth because of this stonewalling or incompetence or carelessness.

GLOBETROTTER = ISLAND HOPPER

LOL!!!!!!!!!

THE VACATION THAT NEVER WAS!!

dan's sheeple

i am a blogger

yup

she is back in full force

doesn't she live in florida too?

what a loser!!

Dan keep your blog going just to make her go crazy!!

GLOBETROTTER = ISLAND HOPPER

it sure seems that way.
the best part was how she wrote that she keeps coming back to
read this blog

guess hers is not doing that well after all!!
and what happened to that book she was going to donate the proceeds
to the center for missing and exploited children?

she reminds me of someone called IMON from webslueths.com

IMON WAS BANNED FOR LIFE TOO!!

I agree, I'm concerned about how opaque this whole thing is. I mean, maybe they are onto something and charges are around the corner. But maybe they are tinkering with things behind the door that we can't see in order to cover the actions of certain people who may be very well connected. Good call, Dan.

Globetrotter wrote: "That's it. I am done ranting and raving"

UHHM somehow I doubt it

she will be back tomorrow

same Bat channel
different Bat name

hopefully some medication

but i doubt that!!

she is going to gall herself into a heart attack one of these days!!

Dam hopper, MOVE ON ALREADY!!!
NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU!!!!!!!!

and by all means call the police in the middle of the ocean!!!

the FC Sea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO!!!!!!!!

jimi, i think hopper has a secret crush on dan, she can't seem to stay away. lol.

I think, I think, I think, over and over some people say the same thing and you could go back over the blogs and find the same sentences. What a waste of blog space....gesh...ignore people, don't reply or if you must, once said is enough! We know your opinion by now.

Thanks Dan for tolerance of all points on this blog and that shows maturity greater than your age affords you. I imagine your maturity will take you places and congrats in advance.

I'm getting very tired of coming here and looking for the good information Dan gets out there... and having to wade through trash like Globetrotter's post above.

This is a request to please ban his IPs, all of them.

We all see that the post, like the disjointed, confused ravings and inaccurate timeline on Island Hoppers website reveals very serious mental shortcomings, a complete lack of the most basic writng skills, a lot of "I"s, and no credibility.

hmmm geez i turn my back for one second and a fight breaks out lol ;)

can't take u kids anywhere....to your corners both of you NOW!!! lol sorry if i don't laugh your gonna make me puke lol

I'm kind of interested in the piece of duct tape that has been found with blond hair stuck to it.

I heard the guy who found it talking on TV about how it didn't seem wet, I'm not sure exactly what he was getting at but I think that what he was saying was that it seemed pretty fresh-looking, not as if it had been in the ocean or weathered on the beach.

Did anyone one else hear these remarks, what was your take on them?

Cuz I know the Holloways are about crazy with grief and fear that without physical evidence of any kind, no one, not Joran or anyone else, is going to be charged with a crime,

So what if these desperate parents, who likely had a brush or comb with some of Natalie's hair on it, planted the piece of duct tape with some hair down there on the beach pretty recently

Voila! Physical evidence of a crime, not to mention new information that keeps the case in the headlines.

We know that the Holloway/Twittys realize the hair is identifiable because they have already given Dutch authorities hair from a brush Natalie used for DNA profiling already according to news reports.

Now before you family supporters get your panties all in a bunch again: just step back and think for a minute---in an investigation like this one, all angles have to be considered: because as well as the dead (and I'm assuming Natalie is dead), the living, for example Joran must be considered if there's a chance he's being set up.

I continue to believe that teenagers lie for all sorts of reasons (for example, embarrassment, impulsivity, fear of getting set up and so they "improve" a story) even when not guilty.

It just has never made sense to me that a kid of his age with no history of antisocial behavior could have, in a couple of hours, disposed of a body and all evidence completely effectively and gone home to bed to take his exams as scheduled the next day.

I'd be checking that hair and duct-tape for freshness and time on the beach and fibres or fingerprints that might be a link to Jug or Beth and company, as well as doing a DNA analysis on the hair and analysis for Van der Sloot and Kelpoe evidence.

Caltha. That last post is simply absurd and hurtful.

Fabricating evidence does not benefit the family in any way.

The Twittys and Holloways want to find their daughter

and take her home.

Interesting. Don't you think the Van Der Sloots want their child home as well?

This kind of compassion-babble that attempts to put certain (testable) hypotheses off limits because, hey, we've decided what the answer is, it's just a matter of making the outcome look a certain way---well that makes me all the more certain that one has to be very, very careful that the outcome is not, indeed, being orchestrated.

Honey, there is nothing absurd about considering that desperate people sometimes do desperate things.

As for being "hurtful", well that need only be true if the Holloway/Twittys have concluded that they are somehow so very special and beyond any kind of explanation, that it is almost blasphemy for anyone to question anything about them. Is that where they are?

I would test that duct tape-hair sample very, very thoroughly. Your response makes me even more certain of this.

Dan is kind hearted soul. Anyone who does not like how he runs his own blog has a problem. Get over it and move on.
Thank you DAN so very much for trying to help Natalee's story stay alive. Thank you for all you do to keep us informed. There are many of folks that really care about Natalle and Beth and her family. This is a horrible tragedy and it must not die till those responsible are brought to justice !
And Thank you Dan for trying to help me too ! I will be forever grateful and I am here for you if I can ever do anything for you. Just ask !
