Natalee Holloway Witness Stumbles: Leads Thin

ArubaToday, an Aruban publication in english, online here, claims that a witness discovered by Twitty family Private Investigator, T.J. Ward in the Natalee Holloway case may be of little real value.

Private Investigator T.J.Ward,who is working for the Twitty family,speaks to a journalist from People magazine about his investigation. Ward ’s recent finding of a witness sadly fizzled out after she couldn ’t identify the make or color of the car or even the date or time it passed by her home adjacent to the Racquet Club.

Reportedly, it appears her ability to place the car of Deepak Kalpoe at the location is in serious doubt.

The report from ArubaToday also disputes earlier claims found in Diario, another Aruban publication - that it seemed as though something had been found in the pond.

Crews expected to finish draining the pond on Friday,said Gabriel Kelly,a spokesman for the island ’s fire department,which was coordinating the effort.“So far we haven ’t found anything out of the ordinary,”Kelly said.

Yes - I heard this too and it got me excited that they are onto something. Plus, Tim Miller made some comments abot how they have learned that the access to the landfill has changed and it's different now than what they believed it to be at the beginning of the investigation. I got the IMPRESSION that whatever the access issue is - it leads them to believe that Joran (or someone on his behalf) COULD have gotten into the landfill and put her body there.

Makes me wonder if maybe the previous police chief gave Texas Equusearch faulty info in order to lead them away from the landfill. Somehow I think Van der Stratten was misleading the investigation, due to his relationship with PVDS.

The woman's information gained by TJ has no role in the search of this pond according to Tito's police sources. This woman hasn't even talked to investigators. There were SEVERAL other witnesses that backed or cooberated (sp?) the gardner besides this woman.

One of my step daughters ran away when she was 16. It took us almost a year to find out where she was and fortunately she was OK.

Beth is behaving with more courage than I ever had.

I have noticed that her attitude has changed recently. While she still talks a good game, she looks like she is slowly coming to terms with the fact that her daughter is gone. She is worn down, worn out, and exhausted.

Try this theory out:

"Something bad" happens to Nat and the three Amigos have a problem. Call to Papa VDS for help.
PVDS is no dummy and figures that if they hire somebody to dispose of the body at an unknown location, the boys will never be able to be broken and reveal Nat's whereabouts. "No body, no case." So, PDVS comes up with the cash and hires the neighborhood DJ (at Deepok's suggestion). Croes the DJ meets the boys at the Racquet club to pick up the body and buries her in the National Park.

After the 10 day grace period, the boys are picked up. The DJ gets a little nervous and decides that he better help the "Holiday Inn" alibi along, so he goes to the cops and verifies the H.I. story. Only he didn't know the boys were on a new alibi already. Oops. Now the cops have a connection between the boys and the body.

The "I don't know where the body is" cover is blown. Can't trust Croes to keep his mouth shut, so the body must be moved.

So, today in Aruba, EQSearch is digging in the landfill where a witness says he saw two men disposing of what looked like a body. Interesting that security was tightened at the landfill after
the Nat case was underway.

Now, that said, since they are SUPPOSEDLY bringing in outside people from Holland, hopefully they will make Joren open up. If Joren were being truthful and not telling lie after lie, I would be more open to his innocence, however when story after story from him is different and misleading, it makes him very suspect in my opinion. But someone who is completely innocent knows that they are, and they defend their innocence to the electric chair. They don't have to say that they dropped her off at her hotel, that security guards dunnit, that they walked home, that their friend dunnit, they say where they really left her. Yes, they might remain the chief suspect, but they provide something for the LE to start with and when the girl or body is found the next day without the suspects fingerprints on the murder weapon, the suspect has some sympathy from the public and innocent till proven guilty is much more widely applied. Now, if there are corrupt officials, they might try to pin the case on him, but that didn't happen in this case, did it? Quite the opposite.

Obviously there IS some compelling information/evidence that the officials are using against Joran and he just cant get it straight.
