A reader sent in a link to an image compilation set to music. Not sure this is for everyone, if you tend to be over emotional - this web log does not provide tissues.
Also, I have heard that if you're following the Natalee Holloway case, you might want to keep an eye out for Jossy M. on Fox sometime tonight.

I went from ..... crying..... crying...
To getting .... angry ..... angryyy and more angry
It's the overall CONTRAST..
innocence (of a young girl) vs .... ARROGANCE (of a blatant ...)

Now I'm just sad....................

Can you give me a version with out pics of J?
Posted by: AkekoaHoAlethia | Sunday, July 24, 2005 at 07:13 PM
Very heart wrenching, such a long journey for Beth, Jug, Dave...and all. One has to wonder how long the journey was for Natalee? Very sad. Thank you, it is a great piece.

Watching it made me more angry than sad, too many pics of the boys having fun, and they still have their lives ahead of them, possibly, and not enough of Nat's short life, now pictures strictly of her from childhood till recent would have hit me.

Thanks Dan. Amazing visual story that summarizes things thus far. Some poignant reminders. I still see her high school picture and that moment captured in time. Every parent's nightmare.

Dan,
May I share my prayer?
You've brought me to something that touched me deeply.....
Dear God,
Father of All, please comfort all those with broken hearts like me, a Father with daughters as precious as Natalee has been to us all....
Amen

Well, even with the warning...I cried. My 3 year old daughter was laying in the floor coloring and when the song went off, she said "that is a sad song".

It was heartbreaking to watch the emotion behind their eyes.. who wrote the song??
Was anyone else as sick as I of the joren photos and his friends and their thug looks and faux gang symbols?
what a bunch of assholes....

Very humbling.... very beautiful... very well put together...

WOW...........Thanks DAN!
what a powerful photo essay and the song was beautiful. Any clue who sings that? ( Should make it a single! )
That was worth the wait on the pictures. Amazing how photo's can put together a timeline like they have.
Kuduo's to whomever put that together.
We must all remember to pray for Natalee and her family and friends.
~~~Love, THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS FOR NATALEE AND FAMILY & FRIENDS~~~
This song's mp3 says
Ericka Harvey - 'Natalee'
I don't find anything on the internet about her - but sure would like to find a higher quality version of the file.
While I would understand the writer not wanting to "make it about them..." maybe they could donate proceeds from a single to the "The Natalee Holloway Trust Recovery Fund" or Texas E.Search...
Never stop praying...
God Bless Natalee...
Email your radio stations and request the song. That is what I am doing.
Someone suggested I send the video to Fox News so I did.
My heart is broken for the Holloway Family! Such a tragedy never should have happened. I dont understand the poor parenting of Joran and the Kalpoe Brothers. Gambling,drinking and dirty dancing is no way for a seventeen year old boy to live. This was a precious life that has been taken from loving parents. God knows the truth!
Very sad and very touching. When I looked at all the thug friends of JVDS, there is no question that this kid is guilty of this crime and probably many others. I would love to personally escort him to his house if they ever set him free.
I thought that the video was very touching and very sad...it showed Natalee's family at a loss as well as those boys' families. Those parents are dealing with the fact that their sons may have possibly killed or kidnapped etc...a young girl. It is sad. They may have done something really bad and now they realize just how stupid it was, you can tell by the looks on their faces in the pics after all of this came out. It is sad. Especially for Natalee's family but for those kids that did something that they may have to live with for the rest of their lives...ONE STUPID MISTAKE>>>> The video was beautiful...
Speaking from my own personal experience, rape is not a mistake its a crime! This beautiful girl was a human being with a bright future that was taken by three out of control guys. This was premeditated and they should get the maximum sentence. Ok Aruba, take care of it!
This was so beautiful it made me cry. I will never understand why someone would ever want to do any harm to such a beautiful young woman. Natalee wherever you are I want you to know that as a fellow Christian brother "I Love You" as my Christian sister in God's family. I will continue to pray for you and your family. God Bless you sweetie.
oh yeah, millions are spent to find an blond maybe too drunk promiscues girl (I don't believe in her innocense on that part) ... while there are thousands of these girls are missing in the USA being raped, sodomised, beaten to death and oh surprising, the could use a tiny ammount of the same help they offer the Holloway-family.
That's Ame(Idontca)rica, you should be proud of yourselves to make a mediahype out of one girl ...
And as for fellow christian brother Nick, would you be as concerned if she was black or Hispanic? I don't think so ...
So keep sobbing peepz, keep your eyes and ears shut.
Barehuh, you have a hard heart. If a black or Hispanic girl went on her graduation trip to Aruba with her friends and didn't make it back home, if her family got it out to the news media so we would know about it, you can bet we would be as concerned about her as we are about Natalee. A young girl should not just disappear no matter the color of her skin.
