Natalee Holloway Update

It's been a frustrating day all around here - worse on the island, I'm sure. I forgot to mention one item in my ealier update.

Individual's observing the residence of Paul(us) and Anita Van der Sloot reported seeing no sign of activity yesterday. The metal front gate was locked. It is believed they are no longer staying in the home.

When the elder Van der Sloot was released it was "requested" that he not leave the island; however, his passport was not held. The most likely scenario is that they are simply staying elsewhere, perhaps due to vandalism first reported here.

PT Excellent Post - I am an American too - but have long realized that our country has no respect for other cultures or their way of doing things - this is a perfect example - and Fox which I usually watch has truly turned into the Enquirer and some of the anchors on there should have their houses searched and their body language analysed and every minute detail examined - and if Mark Furhman has turned into our leading example of law enforcement we are truly in trouble. In the US crime is investigated. That is what they are doing in Aruba. If you come up missing in the US it is unlikely you are going to be the top of the agenda of your government. Likely no jets out either. I am an American. I hope to see Natalee found alive. I think an eighteen year old girl flirted with a seventeen year old boy and supposedly left a club with three guys in a foreign country and is missing. Where is she is important. What happened is important. At this time many people are trying to make those determinations and find her. Three boys are in jail for now. There is not much crime in Aruba, few murders. The lack of crime before this incident suggests isolated and not typical front page news on the island, as it is in the US. How many girls missing in Aruba? Misleading information sidetracks, takes up time, has people looking in the wrong places, discredits, slanders, etc. Have hope that Natalee is found.

Just got through listening to an interview on TV. I had missed it earlier tonite. There is a lot to be read between the lines of this interview as well as a lot of the other interviews i have heard in the past weeks.
I think that this whole case comes down to big time orginized crime all the way from the top down in the ARUBAN goverment. The are all involved in drugs and other crimes.
I noticed tonite that George Twitty said "we know a lot that the WORLD and the USA does not know yet." I suspect that if the corrupt goverment of ARUBA does not come clean no matter who is in danger there of getting their throats slashed that the TWITTY'S are expose everything that they have found out and I am sure that have a big story of a Huge ring of orginaized crime to tell us all about. You can bet on that.
The whole justice department is involved. Most Everyone in the justice department is involved. A complete and totally corrupt government. You can bet that the DAD is a part of it. Everyone is adding everyone pockets. Thats ususally the way it works.

News tonight. Fox trying to get plea bargins, already decided who to put in jail only with information, most which proves to be invalid and lack of information. Crazy! The Fox reporters are highly aggressive. The commercials get really loud and the reporters are real aggressive and there is a lot of spin. Having noticed Fox never corrected or had Jug correct his misrepresentation of the VDS family during the initial visit when Jug went to their home. Jug's character assasination of Mr. VDS, "slimeball", refuse to help, etc. when in reality the man who questioned Joran did not indicate the VDS people were rude and Joran did answer the questions. That was the first attempt to character assasinate Mr. VDS. It was reported on air one night on Fox that a car was following Natalee and that was never corrected or mentioned again. That was the BIG STORY. Fox ready to jump on corruption because Jug says that, regardless of the red flag Jug has misrepresented facts about Mr. VDS. Fox, on and on about FBI going to Aruba. Aruban man says they can come, just can't take over in Aruba or any other country. Fox just can't get it. They ask over and over, knowing we have many missing people too. Also, people have seen how US pee peed on prisoners. Why would they want the US interrogating theirs? This is not an invasion. This is a missing person. I think the dutch people are not use to all the aggression. While the aggressive behavior might have worked for a while, and maybe a little of it necessary, people might decide to bite back. I don't feel confortable with making enemies all over the world with the we know better and pushing people around attitude. I think it is best to accept that when you go to a foreign country you also accept you must abide by their system. Aruba appears to be in 5th gear, high on their agenda, trying to deal with this case. No real evidence of corruption. They had the boys wire tapped early on and without other evidence maybe their way was a good thing. It is not the American people making enemies around the world, it's the people who are representing America around the world who are making a lot of enemies. The biggest enemy making mistake, my opinion, is to use unnecessary aggression when it is possible to work with other people. It's the we rule the world attitude and we are seeing it again here. This is not terror. This is a missing person case. I don't agree with response such as if you don't like it leave America. Okay, I can quit watching Fox but I'm not leaving America. This is suppose to about finding a missing person, or body, and not to tell these people how to plea or run their system and investigations. People representing America are making us look like the terrorists everywhere! What are we going to do when everyone in the world bites back at the same time?

The Kalpoes were more open for interview and so on than many Americans would have been under the circumstances. They just didn't realize the more they do the more they are considered weak. It is not that the dutch or Aruban people are weak, they are just obviously more polite as a whole than what we are use to anymore. Maybe it is that the people representing America are getting abusive? Not many Americans want foreigners to show up asking to search their property? In other words, people in Aruba are being demanded to do things that we know people in America would not agree to. The VDS family did tried to be open and visit Mrs. Twitty and ended it appeared only a manipulative attempt to find more to abuse them using the press, such as sweating. Hey, the black security guard sweated too! So, is it really a surprise that the Aruban or dutch people might finally say oh well forget that it isn't helping matters but just fueling a feeding frenzy for the press.

I think the best thing to keep America respected is to start showing more respect for other governments. It is not surprising that the dutch or Arubans are getting tired of the "demands" because of the twisting of facts taking place, character assasinations, and Fox ready to jump on all of it and report as fact. We all want to know what happened to Natalee but we want to know what really happened and what the real facts are and what the real outcome should be as a result. Fox has already decided who goes to jail, who pleas, and who should take over the investigation. Gee What is it going to take? Fox getting sued a lot and enemies all over the world to get it?

There is a big difference if Natalee was murdered, overdosed due to drug taking and someone panics, who she was actually last with... what really happened ..a lot to figure and sort but FOX already has it all figured based on rumors from here and there that Geraldo brought back or Jug told them and they didn't check out. Hey, guess what the people say they are not complete investigating. FOX already into a trial. So, am I surprised if the government is tired of all the demands. Well, I am especially sorry for Mrs. Twitty because I have a daughter and I would be sick too is she was missing. I can see how Mrs. Twitty is too emotionally involved to be rational. FOX is suppose to be rational, truth seeking, and this has been like Enquirer reporting. The Aruban government will probably have to do something not to appear weak or the abuse will continue. Mrs. Twitty could not have pushed the Arubans to this point on her own. Only with the help of the American media mainly FOX, who has twisted facts like predators on anyone they perceived as weak, could this result in making more enemies unnecessarily around the world.

It was obvious to me from hearing Mrs. Vandersloot on TV that she was one of those oppressed women who is unable to think for herself and is not cared for by her family. Y'all, please don't start knocking Beth Holloway Twitty. She is just doing all that she can to keep Natalee's name out there and let the Aruban dog and pont show of a PD and Gov. that she isn't going to go into hiding.

SHE HAS to stay out there day after day doing SOMETHING so that Natalee and her plight stays in the public eye.

Aruba would like her to go away and STOP passing out anything that reminds people of Natalee.

Big problem with this case (other than not being able to find NH dead or alive of course) is that if the authorities arrested every male local and tourist in Aruba that had sex with a female under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs they would need a MUCH larger prison there. And if a drug were involved (other than a drug used exclusively for date rape)there would be the matter of proving that the victim did not take the drug of her on free will. It is possible (but maybe not probable) the boys got rid of the body simply because they did not want to be associated with being with a female dead from a bad reaction to a drug when they were in the secluded place they were just to have sex with the girl. And then once they lied about it to start with, the only ones that are going to believe them after their first lie is their parents. Maybe the police have some evidence that will point to what really happened.

Beth is saying only what she can so she doesn't jeopardize the case. Whatever she knows right now, it's in her daughter's best interest that she says nothing until either the case goes to trial or Natalee is found.
If she is haning out bracelets it's to keep busy and not go crazy, at least she feels she's getting out there and putting her daughter in prayer with everyone she comes across. There is nothing wrong with that.
What mother of a missing daughter has gone out and said whatever was on their mind out of frustration? No one I can think of? Look at the class and the composure that Elizabeth Smart's mom and Laci Peterson's mom had in the midst of their "three ring circus".

They have been threatened by the officials that if they say anything about the case that it will be a grave error and the murserers will get off. You have to remember that Beth and company have done the majority of the investigating not the Aruban polis. Beth has given all of her information to the polis but that action has NOT been reciprocated.
