David Kock, the lawyer for Satish Kalpoe, said he was confident the younger brother would remain free. “There’s nothing new against my client,” Kock said outside the courthouse. “I’m speculating, but perhaps the prosecution wants to appeal for PR reasons.”
Meanwhile, Dutch Royal Navy Commander Jack Goense said the three F-16 fighter jets searching for the missing girl above Aruba since last week couldn’t find any indications that her body was still on the island. The three planes made 11 flights above the island, mapped its entire surface and scanned specific areas by order of the Aruban authorities.

I think that Lemmy may not know the depth of the well on his own land.
Still, Mt. Constitution on Orcas Island is well over 2000 feet, and Mt. Dallas on San Juan island is close to 1000 feet tall. I doubt he lives on Mt. Constitution, though he *could* live on Mt. Dallas. There are fresh-water aquifers that bottom out at a little over 100 feet below sea level in the bedrock of the San Juans, so in theory he *could* be right. I doubt it, though!
It is true, however, that in some parts of the country 1000+ deep fresh-water wells are not uncommon.
FYI: Sandy Point is on the mainland north of Bellingham. There is a refinery not far from there, but no wells.

Thank you for the correction. You have confirmed that my memory isn't as good as it used to be. To my recollection, only seahawks would habitate Mt. Constitution, and they might have difficulty with the hydraulics of 1100-foot fresh water well, not to mention acquiring an email address.

Morning all~
First, I cannot imagine a well being 800 feet on an island, but who knows in this case anything is possible anymore!
It's seems if some pieces are beginning to unfold and let's hope the BHT, this is true this time around as she has been through so much, too much actually and we all know why.
We don't know what exactly happened and may not know all of the details but we need to send lots of encouragement/support for the Holloway/Twitty family at this time.
Please keep them in your thoughts today as a new set of turns and events begin for them.
And if this case is not resolved, due to whatever reasons- botched investigation, Dutch laws, cover-up, political scandals.
always remember Natalee and keep her in your heart and know that as tragic as this has been at least the world has a new awareness of travels to other countries and the events that could occur for you and your loved ones, stay safe and go give your kids a hug and let them know how very precious and dear they are to you.

Noted, but the auth's initial search of the property (via warrant) included the entire premises. Did they give any explanation for overlooking or neglecting the well?
However, go back and check wasn't it later discovered that some that were part of this investigation actually very good friends with the vds's, ex. Polis commisioner- who some have reported is jvds godfather?

The investigation is a circus itself..... NOT the media.. if attention isnt brought to this, it would have been put on the back burner 5 days later! Put yourself in her shoes. Dont talk the talk unless you have been there! Dont walk the walk until you have been in her shoes! Most of all- keep your 2cents in your pocket..looks like you need to hang onto it!

gab - yes PVS does have a friend that took time off (vacation time) so that he could be present when the police investigated the house. I am pretty certain he was specific to the police what they could and could not look at. I believe his friend is the Head Prosecutor for the island (and the police report to the prosecutors office from what I recall). He is not the one involved in the case and he is the godfather of Joran. He "believes" in their innocence, yadda yadda. At any rate he was present when the police searched the premises. I suspect they only searched inside the house and the vehicles and didn't even really look around much at the outside. Press was there and they didn't appear to show pictures of any activity going on on the outside, only the inside.

Yes...lime will stop or almost stop the odor from a dead body. We found a dead deer in the woods near our house, covered it with lime and there was no odor...

Two body language indicators that I picked up while watching the friends of NH on Greta tonight.
they were Francis Ellyn (sp?) and Kathryn.
On girl kept pursing her lips so tightly she no longer appeared to have a mouth! She seems to be almost physically biting her mouth closed in an effort not to say anything. The other, many times when she answered questions giving an affirmative or assertive answer, kept shaking her head back and forth as in "no". I believe this is called negation. I would tend to be skeptical of what was being said when someone is negating.

Will someone please tell me why Joran's father refused to let the FBI search the well on his property? If it is a water well, I am sure that Aruba has a public water system and that the water in the well is either drinkable, potable, or septic tank.

Does Aruba have warrants issued to allow the search of the water well based on the possibility of finding more clues?
Aruba is approximately 9 miles long and about 3 miles wide, and the authorities are slowly running out of places to search.
I think the Aruba Prime Minister or the FBI should issue a search warrant or something to be able to search the well on the Van der Sloot property, since Paul refused to let them before. Does he have something to hide? I heard that the judge in Aruba for the investigation if Joran's godfather. I guess that is why they can't get anything done, because everyone is related somehow.
Come on people of Aruba, the whole world is watching all of you to look really really stupid, at the hands of a teenager with raging hormones and a sick love for a website filled with rape, and no respect for a beautiful woman. Joran's website had gang rapes, rapes in general, and torture before it was removed. It was www.Joran.com.

I have read several of the posts placed on this website, and I wanted to mention that last thing I heard was that Paulus did not want anyone to search the well but never said why.
I would like to ask all of you to take a minute and send an e-mail to the Consulate General of Aruba, Robert Sorenson, to respectfully request that the abandoned well be searched.
If enough concerned Americans send e-mails to the Consulate General, maybe something can finally be done to let the well be searched.

I have another question abouth the Holloway case.
If they took her back to the Van der sloot home and all three had sex with her did anyone ever think that Paulus may have been in on this action as well? I wouldn't leave anything to be unquestioned.
