ARUBA--The Court heard five appeals on Tuesday against decisions of the examining judge in the disappearance of US teenager Natalee Holloway in Aruba, with the rulings scheduled for Thursday afternoon ...

David Kock, the lawyer for Satish Kalpoe, said he was confident the younger brother would remain free. “There’s nothing new against my client,” Kock said outside the courthouse. “I’m speculating, but perhaps the prosecution wants to appeal for PR reasons.”

Meanwhile, Dutch Royal Navy Commander Jack Goense said the three F-16 fighter jets searching for the missing girl above Aruba since last week couldn’t find any indications that her body was still on the island. The three planes made 11 flights above the island, mapped its entire surface and scanned specific areas by order of the Aruban authorities.

holy crap!!!! did anyone see the interview from larry king live with time miller of equisearch????// he said he is very angry about the investigation and they are NOT leaving the island and are bringign in more equipment and they believe they found the spot where natalee WAS buried and someone moved her..........WOW......Gee I wonder who would move her??? maybe paul van der sloot or the kalpoes and joran since they had 10 days to cover their asses......................boy I hope they find natalee.....tim miller says he really feels she uis dead...........

Wow, Thanks gwb! Regarding the abandoned well in the Van der Sloot's backyard, I have heard in another report that it is 800 feet deep. Is it not OBVIOUS to anyone in charge down there that is MOST LIKELY where the the Van der Sloots have dumped Natalee's body?? Other reports say that the body was buried at the fishermans hut, Tim's research backs that up and contends the body was MOVED.....yes, Paulus & Joran moved it to their own backyard well. The Van der Sloots have not allowed anyone to search their backyard, where the well is, doesn't ANYONE find this odd??

I was about to talk about the same thing! I also noticed that Tim said there's supposedly an abandoned well on the VDS property and that he'd LOVE to get his equipment in to search that well. Hopefully he will be able to do that. Tim sure had a lot of conviction tonight. Maybe they are on to something now. I sure hope so.

My fear is by the time they get to searching the well, the body will be moved again....if that is where she is. I'm thinking dad had her body take elsewhere..off the island. Why else would he say "no body no crime"?

why haven't the police gotten a search warrant for the vandersloot's or kalpoes houses? can the texas group get a warrant?

Things are starting to fall into place. Let's presume Joran WAS with Natalee on the beach. Whatever happened to her, casued her death and he buried her by the fishermen's huts. He goes home, tell PVDS who goes back there to exhume the body, puts her in the trunk (some type of evidence was found there - but BLOOD was ruled out) and Daddy puts her in the well or elsewhere on his property. Joran says he left her on the beach - true. Dad says no body, no crime. Maybe he didn't tell Joran where he put her but I will bet my bottom dollar that Daddy knows where she is. And I pray to G-d that they find her before they close this case.

The back yard well at the VDS's house. 800 feet? That's almost 3 football fields.

Question: How can you seek a warrant (or whatever) to search a property and avoid the back tard well?

And, 2, why have they denied Equasearch access to this area?

Can they (the VDS's) under the law do this? It seems the auth's could access this area ASAP.

And when all is said and done, they should send the bill for this massive search to the Van der Sloots.

I think you have it right Shari. I've said pretty much the same thing since day one. Daddy knows where she is. Joran isn't bright enough to get rid of the body where no one would find it. He went home and told dad or called him from the scene. Dad came and took care of her body. The fact that he helped the boys make up that elaborate story before anyone knew she was missing and told the boys no body no crime supports the theory about daddy taking care of things. I sure hope they find her too but they won't.

Outraged, they won't get a warrant for the well until after the body is moved again...if that is where she is. I do believe it has been a cover up since day one as well.

So, how do we relay this theory to the family and the searchers?

In that case, I'd put a private investigator on the property to watch the scene until it can be searched THOROUGHLY.

what is the island of Aruba made of geologically? is it limestone? i just learned that the word sarcophagus, or tomb where they bury people, means "flesh eater" because in the old days coffins were made out of limestone and "ate" the body in 40 days. only the teeth were left!!

lynn, most likely PVdS does have her in the well and knew they wouldn't search there. I am certain he had his friend at the home on purpose to guide the "search efforts" that the police made. Yes a cover-up. But could it backfire on him because of all the pressure? By all means. I think if he has her in the well, he would have a much harder time retrieving her from there without being noticed. I am certain he is waiting this out and assuming that they will not be pressured into searching the well. Thus the reason for him still having a big "sweat" because there is always that small chance in the back of his mind.

I have always felt from day one that she was probably tossed into a well and I just hope that somehow Tim's team does get access to it.

I'm not sure how to relay that information to the family. Hiring a priviate investigator to watch the property 24/7 until it is searched is about the only way. Maybe I'll send an e-mail to Gretta. She said she reads all of her e-mails. Sad thing is, if she is / was in the well and dad suspected someone may search there, he has probably already moved the body. I feel for her family.

I think we just solved the mystery. But how can PVDS stop the search of his property?

Tim Miller is getting as inconsistent as the three kids. First, he tells us that his cadaver dogs covered the entire island, ecxcept noted places. Now, he tells us that he found a place where Natalee could have been buried. Why didn't his cadaver dogs discover this before? Natalee's decomposing scent would have been detected by the dogs, even if her body had been moved.

I just emailed Dan, with the hopes of him notifying the search party or Nat's family.

This is where their laws differ, Shari. Who knows really since I don't understand their laws. But it seems like a scene that is under criminal investigation is not corded off and kept "clean" for further investigation like it is here in the US. It appears the VdS family can continue living there and going about their business like any other day. Evidently they are still there and just not leaving the premises according to what was said on one of the interviews last night (can't remember which one I watched so many now I am confusing them all. LOL!) But if that is the case, she still could be there. I am sure the house has been watched since the boys have been arrested, if nothing else, but by the press. Therefore, if she is in the well, she still is likely there. It is a lot harder retrieving from a deep well than it is from a shallow quick burial that you knew was only temporary.

There is one question though...is there a possibility that someone could get into the well without actually having to access his property direct? I seem to recall him living close to a quarry. Could the well have direct access from that? Are there back ways into the well?

Annie, I hope you are right in that if it is a cover up it backfires on him and they find her in the well. I'm just thinking he will move her again being that it is now public information that she may be there. He is a snake.

harry - I think Tim is exhausted and tired and stressed out. The lack of support that the police have given (which I am sure there has been no true cooperation, maybe support, but minimal at best), the emotions of the family, the hot days, long hours and few meals has bound to have an effect on him. I think he realizes that while he felt at one time they had look at the entire island, he also trusted other search parties' input in that search activity. Now I think he realizes that his team probably is going to have to revisit areas that other teams claimed to have searched.

How do you retrieve a body from the bottom of a 800 foot well? Are you telling me they have her on the end of an 800 foot rope. She is down there for good. But sensors could pick up the evidence. Could dna still be in the water?

lynn - I agree. He is a snake and I am sure the thought has crossed his mind. But I do believe he knows it would be far more complicated to do that this time around given the fact that the press (if no one else) is watching his house like a hawk. It would not be easy to retrieve from a well that deep. Plus I don't know if the well has access to other bodies of water through tunnels. If that is the case, then he could stand a chance, but again I suspect if he leaves the house, the press follow him like a hawk. I do think he suspects he is safe, but still always wonders if she might be found. Thus the sweat!

Yes sensors could pick that up, unless the F16 crew were told to specifically only look in certain areas (by the police). Again, I am not convinced they combed the entire island with their infrareds. It may be that they were only given specific areas.

Not sure about the laws probibiting them from searching the propert either Shari. Their laws are so different...of course...doesn't sound like they have laws and / or they make them up as they go along.

Noted, but the auth's initial search of the property (via warrant) included the entire premises. Did they give any explanation for overlooking or neglecting the well?

Also, why deny Equasearch access without any apparent reasonable or rational explanation?

This facet of the inv. requires more attention and explanation from the aruban auth's. Pressure needs to be applied and questions answered.

Without reason, and there is none, it's obvious that a conspiracy or cover up is in place. Rregradless of wheterh NH is there or not.

As for actually getting her out of the well, you guys are probably right in that it would be nearly impossible. I just would't put it past him to have a plan in place to get her out if necessary. Not sure about the dna thing if they do search it. It depends on what they have her in down there. Momma VDS probably wouldn't get suspicious if dad pulled her out of the well. He would just tell her it was a large animal that fell in and he was getting it out. She would believe it...lol.

If the well were 800-foot down, they would need a strong pump with associate piping runs in order to remove the water. Remember, Aruba is an island, so how far do you suppose the Montana area around the van der Sloot's house is above sea level? Can it be 800 feet above sea level?

As to concerns that P.VDS will move the body if it IS in the well on his property. I don't see how he could remove a body from an 800 ft. well without special equipment and being noticed. So I don't believe there should be a lot of concern that he would/could move her.

I don't think, even with his dinero, that PVDS could have the body removed from the well. I am sure that is where she is, to stay, until Tim gets her out. Pray that he has the capacity to do so. Bastards.

If the well is 800 and not 80 feet, what better place to dispose of a body. Especially, if you're certain that aruban technology or equipment would never detect her. That explains his adamant demeanor towards equasearch. Stay out!
