Natalee Chat

As mentioned previously, Ian at Political Teen is hosting a Natalee Chat site. If I'm not mistaken, Ian has always had chat capabilities and set up BlogsFor Natalee after things started to get going. If any commenters from here wish to chat there, it's fine with me. I'll likely visit as well and make sure any updates get linked there. If it makes chatting back and forth easier - go for it. I don't mind a bit. The vast majority of my readers click by, read the latest and move on. It's the nature of the web log to some extent.

But community is important. And ultimately "news" communities will spring up and take hold - shrinking and growing with events. I appreciate Ian offering up the forum to readers here who'd like to check it out. Up to you.

And no, this isn't in competition with another forum. I don't manage the forum, and don't have it registered as part of this web log. Update: I did log in and make a comment about the new witness, however - pretty cool.

I have been reading on this site for weeks now and have not posted. I just want to say that I live in Alabama, near where Nat is from, I have a daughter her age and this is all so scary! I enjoy reading all that you guys have to say, kinda like a real live CSI investigation. May God bless Natalie and her family and may the truth be known. Thanks to all of you for your intelligent thoughts. I have been getting a lot more insight here than on the news networks. Also God bless Greta and all she is doing with her show to continue to bring this case to light. She catches a lot of flack from some about her continual coverage of this case, but atleast she cares enough to continue. May God wrap his loving arms around Nat and her family.

and no 2. papa sloot is in there, and papas friends on the inside reinforcing the seams daily, you know sometimes things get tight, they reinforce it so that the seams dont unravel..

papa and his inside buddies are making sure of that jorna baby gets mama and papa daily affection and then the moral support of papas cronies....so why should they crack, they are all implicated...if jorna goes papa will go.. why did papa file a petition with the court to be able to have visitation rights otherwise...and he won...because mama sloot was not enough going in there daily...jorna loves mama for the pats on the back and ego, but papa for his devious mischevious acts when he gets deep into poop..

This is the first time on this site, and find that all the reading, writings are very profound, as my friend and I are rehashing the entire disappearance. What we cannot fathom is how Natalee got away from her "alleged" friends in the so-called "drunken" condition that she was in without anyone questioning it! Then to have high school seniors going on a "snorkel/booze" cruise, in a strange country, with access to alcohol.... where are the chaperones...? Obviously, the tour personnel or someone should have seen that Natalee was growing more and more intoxicated, why was there no one held responsible at that point to step and intervene? There are so many holes to this story.... I can only pray that someone will come through with the truth, so that her parents may find peace.

Here is a thought.... Whats to say that while in the car, traveling to the Lighthouse, Deepak got jealous of Van der sloot kissing all over Natalee in the back seat of his car, and as boys will be, wanted to secure some of his own time with her as well. Maybe the "green-eyed" beast raised its ugly head!

Diane, See Forums 1-80 as this has been covered from so many angles. John Walsh is on Hannity tonight so how did his son disappear from him in broad dayling in a WalMart? They can be beside you one moment and gone the next.

No simple answer and many opinions and versions of what happened. Wish I had the short answer. Good to see you posting, however, and the archives are full of info on this very subject, too much to link to for not sure what you are looking for, too many discussions and interviews. You'd have to read it all and come to your own conclusions.

Some thought about your comment regarding John Walsh, and his son's disappearance. As I believe this case to be solved and appears that the case itself was predecated on "jealously" on the part of the boyfriend... and also case solved ...correct?

In the comments that I have placed here, I am concerned that no one is being held accountable in the disappearance of Natalee a high school student on a "booze cruise" for a "right of passage" evening, WHICH has nothing to do with Adam in Sears... so whats your point... and thanks for your comment.

I've always been concerned with the 'chaperones' situation as well. The first day or so, when asked about where the 'chaperones' were while many children were drinking at the bar, I recall that the interviewer (???) was set straight, by J and B. They they didn't hold the 'chaperones' or the students accountable, they did nothing wrong.

Jug went on to say that they weren't 'really' chaperones. He called them 'facilitators' or something like that implying there was no responsibility. They weren't there to control what the students did, or watch them; they were there to make arrangements, take care of things, you know...reservations and stuff like that. To make it an easy trip for the kids. I wish I could remember more of this interview.

Having 18 year old twins who also just graduated, these comments were on my mind a lot as to how I would feel about my kids on a trip with 'facilitators'. Or someone to 'get things done'. Then my reaction was, "Great. All we need is 160 more young adults growing up where the norm is people to 'do' for them."

I'm waiting for the criminals who have caused this horrible tragedy to come to justice, but I am also hopeful for a serious dialog and response from the grownups who were along for the 'chores'. I honestly feel like there should be SOME accountability from the adults on this trip.

The stalling is over now...the new Dutch skull crackers will grill Joran non-stop, according to Aruban Law(ha ha)...first time he changes or contradicts they will hammer him..any confirmation PVDS is done , that he has cleanedout his desk?...if Joran points a finger at Kalpoes they will be back in custody..u betcha..maybe Poppee sloot too...if NH was raped, with I feel she was...and all three of them were there then it was likely a multiple assault...

There will be a proper time to discuss the conduct of all from MBHS when the NH case is solved...there may be some things that will be distasteful to hear and admit...the lack of interviews and discussion with MBHS members may be due to the fact they have been interviewed by the FBI and told not to divulge info, pics, etc. until all this is wrapped up...watched Larry King again and his question to Jug&Beth about NH being at C&C's and her lifestyle and what transpired there that night was not well received..Beth fell into her stutter/sputter..ahh..well..ya know...Jug took over for her which he never usually does he kept making the poit about the kids being legal,here to have fun,new experience for them,...bet more than one or two have had a drink or two before...Im not indicting the MBHS group..but truth is truth..fair is fair...answer all the questions..this doesnt end when they find NH and take her home...media will need fresh meat...for Satan walketh about seeking whom he may devour...

If Joran was in the Us and he had not been officially charged, he would not be lock up, he would be free. Minors in Aruba all allowed parental visitation. This is true in the US also, and adults are allowed visitation in US as well.
