MSNBC Report Confirmed

A commenter stated that on MSNBC's Scarborough Country tonight Joe Scarborough reported that an eyewitness saw Joran Van der Sloot punch Natalee Holloway in the face. A call to MSNBC has confirmed that the report did air. However, I was not able to confirm Scarborough's source for the story. I've been informed it should appear in the show's transcript tomorrow.

After 47 days of this up and down, is and is not investigation, it could be true if:

1. This came from someone who has a low self esteem, feels not worthy and not in the class of a white Dutch Boy.
2. This came from someone who possibly thought it was a domestic fight and did not want to go between a husband and wife.
3. This came from someone who confessed this to their priest and took this long for the priest to talk them into coming forward.
4. This came from from someone who confessed this to his shrink and it has taken this long for the shrink to talk them into coming forward.
5. This came from someone who just wants their 15 minutes of fame and it is a lie like most of the investigation that has been told.

I personally think it is number 5.

It was a local Aruban who new who Joran was, witnessed it, but chose not to intervine out of fear (especially if female)of physical harm or legal issues since she already knew he receives special treatment on the island due to his family connections, say like could beat a murder rap.

and let's not forget, the MB student had to have ran after the Kalpoe car or jumped in a taxi and followed it, in either case, witnesses, waited until VS and Kalpoes left NH somewhere and then shows up and kills her. I missed the Scarborough show and am waiting for the transcript to be posted. I have mixed feelings about the truth behind this one - being from AL, I know a bunch of good 'ol boys won't stand for a girl to be punched - esp when it is one of their friends - add a little alcohol to the mix and I doubt a punch from Joran would have gone unanswered from the MB crew...but then again, like the rest of this mystery...who knows? I like Scarborough but am not sure of this story.

After 6 weeks, this witness is not credible. Will turn out to be "someone who looked like Joran may have had an altercation with someone who may have looked like Natalee". This is network "tease" for ratings.

As Dan stated in an earlier post, he knows additonal information and is not posting it in order not to jeopodize the investigation. Law enforcement never divulge all of their information. This is done for a few reasons. Usually withheld information is used to verify other witnesses information. I'm sure that is why Beth and the family are not divulging their information. It must be very hard for her to keep this information to herself, but I am sure she has been told that this information is best kept quiet at this point.
My belief is that the information is coming from the one of the brothers.
I am hoping that one of them will turn.

If Joran did punch Natalee and her friends knew it, why in the world would she get in a car with him and 2 other guys she didn't know and why would her friends let this happen knowing he had just punched her??? ANSWER: Here is what I know about a phone call: Apparently a friend of Natalee's received a call to his voice mail/answering machine. There was background noise and then someone said something like, "Are you calling home?" As far as I know the phones were then disconnected and nothing else was recorded. I do not know if that call was from Natalee or from her cell phone or one she may have used.

Incidentally, not all USA cell phone service works in Aruba. My AT&T cell phone works there, but my Verizon cell phone does not. And yes — I know — what kind of person has two cell phones? It is a bit nutty but I have two cell phones with different service. Why? For the very reason that some times I am in areas where service is limited. One other thing about the phone call — it is not clear when it was received by the person receiving the message.

The beach keeps coming up altho I thought it was a red herring to draw attention away from the vandersloot's house. I kept thinking they took her there and that is where it all happened. Jason - Big difference between carrying a torch and wanting to harm someone. No indications of that whatsoever have come up regarding the boy. However, JVDS has a history of violent behavior since childhood. Besides, of course, it is ridiculous to even waste a split second of investigative time on any 'suspect' from the AL group as they could never dispose of a body in Aruba. Some people forgot to sign up when they were passing out brains. (BTW, The Aruba LE obviously missed that appointment, too!)

Papa VDS dug up the body and with help of local police chief disposed of same. Probably in a dumpster. These guys, VDS, the dad, the cheif and at least on Kalpoe are guilty. As I have said many times, (June 25 etc) these guys are trying to get JVDS out on a technicality. Once he is released, then on a plane back to Holland, then a "tip" will come in about Natalee. This is a "TED KENNEDY/MJ KOPECHNE" type scandal. Justice for Natalee!

Great site… I came across it a couple weeks ago and keep checking back in.
What I think happened is NH ran into a couple locals days earlier, had some fun, they were all out partying, maybe a little druggin, rather it was forced or consensual, and maybe it was too much, or not enough and she fights back. They wanted to get her looped up to rape her and drop her off (notice it happened the night before she left, not a different night when she would have had time to think about it on the island) They were figuring.. “Ohh we’ll have our fun and dump her off and she’ll be dazed and confused with the massive hangover flying back to AL and she won’t say a word” (I personally think this may be a more common thing for this JVDS punk than we know.) So they get her looped up take her out for one last party and ride through the island. Something goes terribly wrong (I know… obvious) and she dies or gets hurt, maybe passes out, and the panic starts… I think they buried her or at the least “stashed her” and then got a hold of daddy. Daddy freaked and got NH moved. Daddy made a call to one of his best corrupt buddies in his office and had a few strings pulled to buy some time in the event the police suspect his kid…

Well whadda ya know… guess who’s knocking on the door in the next 24 hours… MOM Holloway… (Go Detective Beth!!!) yep then the crap-o-la hits the fan…”Daddy VDS is freaking and makes sure he has ample time to “take care” of everything.
