MSNBC Report Confirmed

A commenter stated that on MSNBC's Scarborough Country tonight Joe Scarborough reported that an eyewitness saw Joran Van der Sloot punch Natalee Holloway in the face. A call to MSNBC has confirmed that the report did air. However, I was not able to confirm Scarborough's source for the story. I've been informed it should appear in the show's transcript tomorrow.

Why in the hell is this information just coming out now? If an eyewitness saw a man hit a woman in the face, you would think that that they would have tried to intervene or at least find out what was going on.... But, perhaps that is just an my insane way of looking at it. The Aruban way of life continues to completly baffle this southern American...

What would be interesting is to know where this occurred. How reliable is the witness? Perhaps witnesses are starting to come forward because this has been dragging on so long, they are now seeing that Beth and Natalee's case are not going away until Beth has her answers.

What is important with this punching-eyewitness is that the prosecutor can add that testimony to her appeal in order to detain Joran. Whether the witness is credible or not is immaterial. His credibility will be adjudicated at trial. This an old legal angle: to insure an attorny has his/her day in court, the attorney prepares a signed affidavit attesting to some fact of the case. Affidavits (witness statements, etc) require adjudication. Take the fiasco over Dole's contention of the presidential election a few years back. Dole's attorney pulled some really questionable tactics, yet he retained his license to practice law.

Well I fell for it and just had to watch old bottom feeder Joe on the rerun.
The sum of it is that some male friend from MBHS (maybe her Xboyfriend) saw Joran make a pass at Natalee twice and twice she rebuffed Joran. Then according to bottom feeder Joe's sources, Joran hit Natalee in the face with an closed fist. The the big tough from MBHS who saw this suggested to Joran that they "take it outside".
Now if that male pussy cat from MBHS actually saw this and did nothing about it, the is the biggest pussy cat that ever lived. My opinion. Bull crap.

there was talk early on that joran had a fight with some mountain brook guys at the casino....but there is no way I believe that natlee would get punched in the face by a guy and just stay in the casino or carlos and charlies or wherever and just act like nothing happened then get in a car with joran........the only seemingly senseful story would be the guy from mountain brook is the one who hit her and that is why she left with joran but I doubt that either because if that happened joran and friends would have been telling that to anyone who'd listen as evidence someone else probably hurt her after they left her on the beach as they claim.............this case just gets more screwed up each day

I've been thinking for awhile now that maybe one or more of the MBHS students may be pulling the wool over everybody's eyes and possibly got extremely mad and jealous over Natalee's attention to Joran. This will be some kind of bizarre ending if that turns out true. The thing is the MBHS kids had already boarded their plane and returned home so the Aruba authorities never got to question them. I doubt her ex is "close" to the investigation considering Beth Holloway Twitty doesn't know any more info from the Aruban police then the general media.
