Interesting, to say the least. From an email.
Beth and Jug Twitty have announced that the reward for the Safe Return of Natalee has just been upped to a million dollars, no questions asked. Although anonymity is illegal under Dutch Law, the Twitty's lawyer Vinda de Souza confirmed that all tips will remain anonymous.
The 100,000 reward leading to the whereabouts of Natalee dead or alive remains the same.

I just heard on Fox News "The O'Reilly Factor" that the reward (for her safe return) is INDEED one million dollars. I will watch Greta "On The Record" for more details. Okay later.

Larry King Live @ 8pm, all the Holloway parents !
Posted by: Kat_Gram | Monday, July 25, 2005 at 08:50 PM
I seem to have fans here! Well I guess I should answer a few questions then!
First of all I'll tell you that I feel the Lord has led me to help Natalee find her family, and that He intends for me to help people like the Holloways and Twittys find their lost loved oens for the rest of my life. I feel I was led to the people I work closely with, my 'trustys' as I call them. I know I cannot rest until Natalee is found!
I will also say that as of right now I feel in my heart of hearts that Natalee is alive and can be rescued. There is just too much that doesn't add up, and none of the evidence LE has come up with sugegsts death with any finality. What evidence do we have? We have Joran's confession (which he has changed 20 times now and counting. Interesting thing about Joran: a criminal profiler friend of mine tells me Joran enjoys attention and likes to feel important. He fancies himself likd of like an American movie star. Best thing for the media to do is utterly ignore him). We had hair, but that went noplace...big surprise. What else do we have? "No body, no crime"? Well...that can be interpreted more ways than one! Folks, that is about it! Where does it say 'dead' anywwhere? Now let's look at the rumors: Van Der Straaten is on the take with the drug dealers (Michael Posner, owner of the Excelsior casino I think comes up; he is rumored to have employed Joran as a dealer for his clients). Well, it's common knowledge that due to very lax financial laws Aruba is great for casinos and thus money laundering...you get one of your guys to lose a bunch of dirty money at the casinos, casino counts that as legitimate winnings...clean money! It is also known that Aruba is owned mostly by three families that have known drug or organized crime ties: Posners, Mansurs (that's right- Jossie's family), and Cuntreras. Finally lets look at timing: every time the family or the media or U.S. public expresses frustration or displeasure at the investigation, some new and very transparent evidence miraculously pops up! You know...the U.S. is the most powerful nation in the world...why does LE think we got that way by being STUPID?! Let me tell you guys one last thing: this forum doesn't seem to be locked down like SM is now, so I will tell you now you will never hear me badmouth the Twittys or Holloways. You will never hear me say anything but I believe Natalee is alive. You will hear me talk about the Lord a lot; I'm a pretty devout Christian and I base a lot of my beliefs about Natalee on faith.

Who is to say that State Farm hasn't put up the Million Dollar Reward. They have helped Dave and family in the past. ( Just a thought )
Love, Hope, Prayers for Natalee, Her family and friends

Dan in Tx, it's odd but I've notice this also. It's like they "come up with evidence" to make it look like the investigation is moving along, but then nothing ever comes of it.

From Fox News
"I'm really so grateful to the Aruban officials who have made it possible to release this information," the teenager's mother, Beth Holloway Twitty (search), said after announcing that the reward for information leading to her safe return had been increased to $1 million.
A family spokeswoman in Birmingham said the reward was increased after Holloway's relatives received an offer from an anonymous benefactor.

Briefly, about the oil tanker: just an idea I had to tie the oil and oil barrel visions psychics had together. My thought was, if Natalee was kidnapped then smuggling her onto an oil tanker bound for Venezuela would be a great way to get her off the island. That guy who was supposedly killed by his girlfriend? I bet he was a witness- either some innocent bystander who saw too much or a helper who couldn't be let live afterward. I will just say again I firmly believe this is a kidnapping, not a murder. A private yacht would also be a good way to do this. The kidnappers (I suspect someone who wanted to sell a girl of a certain look into prostitution in South America or to an Arab sheikh) WANT nothing more than for Natalee's family to think she is dead, and their buddies in Aruban LE are happily trying to create that illusion...badly. And as soon as Beth and Jug, Dave and Robin think Natalee is dead, she will be...either forgotten or actually killed. I feel that NOW is the time for the Twittys and Holloways to forget whatever happened in the past, unite, and bring Natalee home! If they don't nobody else will.
Folks, I want to ask you to pray for this family and their lost daughter if you will. Ask the Lord to not only guide the Twittys and Holloways and Natalee to each other, but ask Him to grant them the strength, determination, and hope they will need to bring her home safe. Pray that He help us unravel the veil of evil around Aruba for its peoples sake, and ask that He touch the hearts of those holding Natalee, that they may realize that they hold not an object of desire but a real young woman with real hopes, feelings, emotions, dreams, and family who love her and miss her dearly. Ask Him to remind them that although they turn their back on the Lord, He doesn't turn His back on them.
Good night, folks. Hop on Scaredmonkeys and pm me with any questions you might have!

Dan, you couldn't have said it any better! Keep your faith and DO whatever it is you can to get this girl back! Thank you!!!
Posted by: Ria | Monday, July 25, 2005 at 10:19 PM
Dan,
Amen.
You got it. The Island is bought and paid for; why else is it an FOL for the DEA?
Also, I could be wrong, but don't think those 'kids' as bad as they act, killed her.
She was worth more alive to somebody than gone; the tennis club may be a better clue than anyone thinks. Where else would a drop-off for someone very well-off occur? What about boats in that area? TJ Ward are you reading this?
Keep up the good work, and NEVER NEVER NEVER QUIT! NEVVVVVVVVVVVVEEERRRR GIVE UP!

Nice post Dan in Tex. but your criminal profiler friend didn't just profile Joran, he profiled the typical teenager going thru hormone changes. But anyway I kept hoping Nat was alive too but now I strongly feel that the oldest Kalpoe brother murdered her & believe Nat's mom suspects the same thing. Maybe this is why she always stopped short from stating she felt he was the one who did something BAD to Natwhen a reported asked. She'd always respond by saying that she felt he KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED to Nat. I picked that up last week after she said it in several interviews. Now after all this researching Dan, Red & Tom has done I strongly believe it was them Joran was covering up for, which I've stated since day one that he's keeping so tight lipped for a teen ager because he's either covering up for shady characters or a strong minded adult is condoning whatever he did & supporting him. The brother's mother was supposedly fired from her job for stealing & I wasn't feeling her when I seen her first interview. It was the phony way she carried herself & rolled her eyes at the mention of Nat's parents. Also went the brothers went to give the DNA it was reported that they went seperately. The first thing that came to my mind is that the younger one may be trying to distant himself from the older one because he's pissed off at whatever his brother did. In a situation as critical as that w/ the globe watching, you would think the brothers would bond even stronger & the mother would escort & support them every step of the way. It may sound far fetched to some of you but I can see it. I may be wrong but it's how I feel.

With all of the speculation going on that Nat was kidnapped, I just don't see it. There are too many willing ladies out there, why bother with someone that would obviously be hostile. If a sheik wanted a girl, they would line up for miles.
Nat would be too intelligent to be controlled; except by force which would only work for so long.
I find it somewhat interesting that Aruba Polis are trying to build a murder case and the reward for the 'safe' return of Nat is upped to $1mil. Rather contradictary if you think about it. I realize the Holloways are hoping against fear, but up the reward to $1mil either way.

As if $1mil. can bring her back to life.

FIrst, we do not need to bash the Aruban people. The government are the ones or I should say were the ones messing this investigation up. Has anyone noticed since the lovely Police Commissioner left on Friday, SUDDENLY witnesses are coming out? Could it be that they were afraid because of the ties that he and possibly Paulus Van Der Sloot have and what they are capable of doing? And isn't it funny that suddenly the FBI get see paperwork and become insolved? Until now they could be there, search if they wanted and that was it. It is amazing what happens when their is a change in government and possibly those who had been in charge are covering up or involved in something illegal are now not in control.
As for the 1 mil., Beth said on 3 major networks last night that they have a group of friends and an anonymous donor who is giving the money. To me by her raising this amount from 200,000.00 to 1 mil. for Natalee's safe return it sounds as though Beth may have gotten some info or TJ (the private detective) has and they truly believe she is alive. TJ said he has sent this past weekend 2 detectives to Venezula. One of the Aruban prosecutors said on Fox News last night they they think this case will be solved and closed in the next 2 weeks and that evidence has gone from a few things to over 200, I believe.
We all need to pray that Natalee was kidnapped and will be returned. No matter how horrible that is, she would still be alive. Beth is a wonderful, wonderful mother and no one, I mean no one, in their right mind could ever blame her for anything she has said or done. SHE IS A MOTHER!
As for the Aruban people, they have been so kind to Beth. She and Jug have both said that. Jug said he would send his son there next year on a Senior Trip. IT IS NOT THE PEOPLE OF ARUBA. We should not hurt their livelihood. We should push for those involved, NO MATTER WHO, to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of Aruban law.

Drummond Coal & Oil. They do this for other people who are kidnapped in Venezuela.

Did anyone see the movie, "Ransom"? Well, in that movie it was money the kidnappers wanted. Since no one has asked for a ransom in this case there is no reason to believe that someone would actually come forward to claim it unless the person is either willing to rat on their buddies who truly DID take Natalee or someone who has a hell of a lot more to lose than $1 Million to give Natalee up. If she was kidnapped and sold to some kind of drug lord or porno ring, they would make a hell of a lot more off her if they kept her.
The truth is: If it is kidnapping and not murder, I doubt she will be returned. That's just being realistic because there was no ransom to begin with. Again, unless some "partner" of the kidnapper was to sell out to collect the money, I doubt the one's holding her is going to come forward, regardless of the reward.
Van Der Sloot would have no other recourse but to offer the information to the cops if she were alive so that HE could collect.
That's not going to happen folks. Sorry!!

Ive read all the comments and theories, all are interesting! None of this makes any sense, the lies, the so-called witness's, none of it! Im hoping and praying that she is alive somewhere, her poor mother and family going through this agony for 2 months, its just horrible. I do believe, that Joran and Deepak have all the answers, and are covering for eachother. When the Kalpoe's mother was interviewed, if you remember, she said, i feel in my heart she is alive.. hmmm does she know something? She dont sit well with me at all, and neither does Jorans father, he just looks too shady....another thing, a few nights ago, natalee's stepfather had made this comment: When this is all out in the open, everyone will be surprised and say WOW...i guess theyve been told a few things from authorities, and cannot discuss what they know he said...interesting! maybe this means she could be alive? i do hope...

Anyone checking Joran's usual makeout spots & boat rentals. I mean hopefully the private investigators are asking Joran's old girlfriends where he liked to take the ladies since he was such a ladies man. Old habits die hard. I think it was a blessing everyone went on vacation, we may finally get somewhere. I give my prayers for life to the family.

How did Nattile get herself involved with the three young boys and seperated from Her friends. that is a dangerous position to be in. These young boys wee out for sex with the young Girl. The people running Charlies must of known what was going to develope if they were so friendly with the Dutch Boy. I hope withe facts that are appearing to come out that the case will be safely solved.

This is a tragic situation.
I wonder if anyone has thought of using a Psysic
to help find Natalee. Phil Jordan and others have been very successful at solving crimes and finding
bodies and lost people. Might be worth a try.
Keep the Faith

not enough evidence now wait a minute i heard the law in aruba if u leave a bar with someone and come up missing then the person or persons u left with can be prosecuted!!! Now is the aruban govt lying too about their own laws!!! Deepak and his brother and Joran need to get used to the idea from here on out they will be asked or accused of this missing/murdered child!!! Someone please hand them a bible Highlighted thou shall not kill!!!!! Or even "I know What u did 31 May 2005" Beth might have to stay away from Deepak but it is going to be hard to keep everyone else from him the rest of their lives asking these questions < i guess he will be taking restraints out on everyone so one way or the other he will be in court all the time!!!!
