This morning on Neal Bortz show a caller said this, (she was British). She felt it was the Muslim population of France who may have been behind the bombing in London.

She said there was a tight connection anywith between France and Sadam Hussein. And losing the Olympics may have had something to do with the attack.

I wish all Muslims (good and bad) would be shown the door out of all countries (that way no discrimination) and into a middleastern part of the world. Then let the Muslims duke-it-out between them. If the ones who don't want to kill Westerners live it would be peace and harmony. If the ones who want to kill all "Infidels, Christians, and Jews" live, then at least us victims out here would know who our enemy is. But first let Muslims take care of Muslims in their own way.

When is the world going to take the hint, and start teaching 'acceptance' in our schools?

I don't mean acceptance for terrorism. And I don't mean more lienient laws. I see something deeper going on, and it seems to me it is a mindset of non-acceptance that causes people to want to force others to see things thier way. Thats what starts wars and causes fights....lack of acceptance that each has a free choice.

When are we going to start accepting the fact that God, Allah, or whatever you choose to call the Almighty, has bestowed upon each and every human the gift of free thought and free choice?

Peace for the human condition demands that we begin from a place of complete Truth, based in fact, openly expressed, accepted, then and only then does the door remain open to free choice, which is a God given gift, and no one has the right to take it from another. You wouldn't want someone stealing your freedom, would you?

This rule would apply to and help to even heal many situations: Relationships between spouses, potential lovers, employer/employee... any business dealing for that matter....et al.

Acceptance is not the same thing as choice. But "Acceptance" IS THE KEY that opens the door of choice.

"Acceptance is the promise that makes trust, and therefore TRUTH, possible."

When we finally start to acctually learn this principle lesson of acceptance, that Buddah, Christ, Muhammad and many others taught, then, we will tell the truth in all our dealings and begin to see how, where, and even if we fit into each others lives as individuals, societies and faiths.

A study was done a few years ago at a High School in Washington state, where a class was taught in "Acceptance". After just one year the crime rate in the student body of that school dropped drastically, attributed mostly to the new course in ACCEPTANCE.

Yes, I ACCEPT that we all have differing opinions...and my CHOICE, then, is to maintain my own opinion.

I think You misunderstand my point.

As a citizen of a Country that has suffered from Terrorist attack, I'm all for justice, as I am for the people of any country under attack..

and being for justice, I am also for laws, and extreem ones, as punishment, not only for terrorism, but for any other form of evil or destruction that is unwarranted against individuals, organizations, properties or groups.

I did not say lets extend our friendship to the AlQuada or any other terrorists. I SAID> let us extend our ACCEPTANCE THAT THEY ARE WHAT THEY ARE >TERRORISTS WHO KILL BECAUSE THEY CAN'T ACCEPT OUR CHOICE TO BELIEVE THE WAY WE CHOOSE TO.

It is superficial, shallow thinkers who just don't get the point I am attempting to make. And there are so many who will not allow themselves to "go that deep" because it means taking responsibility for not only our choices, but also our thinking. Thought control can be hard work. Not too many people are willing to condition themselves to it, we are too lazy or too busy or too conditioned to just go with the flow around us and our emotional reactions to outside stimuli.

When we get past our own noses and realize that each of us is not the center of the Universe, though looking out from our own eyes it may seem that way.... we may just begin to find peace through starting with Acceptance.

Jesus said to shake the dust off your feet and move on when you are not accepted. He said nothing about tossing a bomb over your shoulder on your way out of town.

Sounds like an important point you are making, but I just cannot understand how it applies to deciding the best (most positive) way to proceed with this conflict between Muslim extremism and the western world. Maybe we alraedy agree with each other and are using different words? can't tell. I took the 6 train to work this morning. All was/were silent save the occasional burst from the overmodulated P.A.; it was clear that passengers were feeling the weight of this morning's attacks in London.

Now I am watching a helicopter surveil City Hall, the Federal Building, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Sentries with submachine guns are stationed on street corners.

Attacks are not done in the name of religion. They are done in the name of violence. To invoke spirituality in the name of death is allegiance to death, not spirituality. A name or religion might be invoked as a guiding force behind an attack, but that is an excuse for rage, not the function of the spiritual practice.

Our "homeland" cannot be protected. We live in a world with the internet, airports, multinational businesses, and global alliances. Your own history overlaps onto/across others, lump it or leave it. It was all over when the Irish and Germans (once considered evil non natives) migrated to the U.S., as well as when African Americans were emancipated.

That was more than a century ago. When Americans fail to realize this, they look (at best) like angry children who resent sharing their toys (air travel, holiday travel packages financed on charge cards (this is not directed at anyone here, mind you). Please consider distinctions between the devout and the violent before judging/casting stones. The recurring theme here, folks, is violence. How do we deal with it?
