Perhaps an Aruban reader would care to help with this, though I suspect I get it. Some objective insight on the publication might help, as well. Anyone?

I sent my two cents in to Google. It really turns my stomach to see such filth.
I've now removed Google as my tool bar.
Thanks for the email addresses.

I'd like to know what that paper says, too. Hope someone will come forward with a proper translation.

yesterday was announced a decision in the (murder?) case of suspects Joran & Satish against the decision of the judge comisario in the DNA case. It was annuled and the procedure wasn't done correctly ... *it gets hazier, not using translator) with out a motive? to base it on?
Posted by: Granny Toad | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 06:53 PM
Hi all, not on my own pc and very busy but came in to see if there was news. . befudled, I can't enter the paper, they ar not giving me a registration code. can you copy and send the text of the article to me?
Posted by: Dolores | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 06:56 PM
I think it's pretty close to what we've read in English.
Posted by: Granny Toad | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 06:57 PM
You all mean the article on the front page, in yellow?
Posted by: Dolores | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 07:01 PM
I assumed they meant that one, not the one below it.
Posted by: Granny Toad | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 07:03 PM
Thanks Dolores....I just got your email....
I am going to run it through a translator right now

Yesterday in the afternoon the Court announced it's decition in the case that the suspect JvdS and ex suspect Satish Kalpoe started against the decition that they had to give samples of their DNA.
Both decitions were annulled, not because the procedure wasn't correct, but because there was no basis for this tests to be ordered.
This is the article in yellow, can't enter the rest of the paper.

WHOA! That means there is DNA on Deepak, by implication.
Posted by: Granny Toad | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 07:09 PM
I don't know why that didn't occur to me yesterday. The Madness, probably. I quit & went to sleep, really did.
Posted by: Granny Toad | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 07:10 PM
Hey, Dolores, I'm getting better at Papiamentu, didn't even start with the translator crutch.

Posted by: Granny Toad | July 30, 2005 07:09 PM
Why do you say that Granny Toad? From all I can see the DNA tests were taken but have to be tossed out because of the fact that the court felt there wasn't enough evidence to compare the tests against. At least that is how I interpreted the above article. So how did you draw that conclusion? Just curious if I am missing something significant there.

Annie-
I was wondering the same thing. I must have missed something.
A little light on this Granny?
Posted by: staticsilent | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 09:19 PM
The article stated they weren't able to use Satish and Joran's. Didn't say anything about Depak
Posted by: Hooch | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 10:04 PM
Not mentioning Deepak could mean they are able to use his DNA.
Posted by: Hooch | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 10:05 PM
It was said on one of the news programs yesterday, that since Deepak's lawyer did not file a motion concerning his DNA sample, there was no need to have a ruling concerning it.

Hey Guys Read the big articles title too. Something about Terrorists? Top title includes Natalee Holloway. Is it about the threat to the water and beef?
Posted by: RJ | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 11:20 PM
Big headline sorry.
Posted by: RJ | Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 11:22 PM
Well Beth is going home indefinately! I pray that Natalee is found soon. I guess the medium was right, she really is "unfindable"! The Aruban government has covered up this crime and the guilty will walk. Shame on them! If you had asked for help instead of being stuck up and try to handle which now you have bungled this investigation, it could of been solved! Aruba, what goes around comes around. Don't be surprised if sometime an Aruban citzen goes missing in our country, don't expect our government to help ...

MTS that just sounds so childish, and Beth is not in Alabama indefinately she is going back to Aruba next week or sooner is need be.
