Wow, my alma mater and hometown! What a surprise and a disgrace. You shame both institutions.
Oh well, losers and rednecks are everywhere. [sigh!]

Lurker - I thought it was established that Cheryl Twitty is Jug's stepmother, not his real mother who is deceased. Is that not so?

Lurker:
I beg your forgiveness. I went back and read your post about Scarlett O'Hara. Gone With the Wind is truly the greatest chick flick of all time. No man would reference it.
Have you announced your homosexuality to your parents or are you still struggling to convince yourself that you are merely bisexual?

Lurker:
You are really from Baton Rouge and graduated from LSU.
Prove it.
Tell me your neighborhood.
Tell me your major.
Tell me the name of one of your professors.
You, sir, are a liar.

Justme,
For Christ sake, don't have a chip on your shoulder about the term "redneck." I meant it in an endearing way. Enough people in our country have a chip on their shoulder about the "N" word. We as a country need to get over these hangups and stop being so oversensitive about words. A little ribbin' builds character. And, I agree with you... JVDS is a chap that I would have little qualms about taking to the woodshed.

Next comes the book - or will it be a TV mini-series?

derooj> Thanks for your explanation.
I trust you will excuse me if I have some reservations. It appears most likely that, under the current state of the investigation, joran will walk when he makes his appeal.
I would further maintain that, due to the results of the investigation to date, the disappearance of an American teenage female from the island of aruba, a dutch protectorate, will not be solved, much less 'resolved,' in the words of the dutch ambassador.
Where is Natalee Holloway? What happened to her?

PKT:
Thanks for your explanation. I call people rednecks everyday, and people call me that. Just the same as some people refer to each other each day with the "N" word.
I guess my point is that when those word are used outside individuals' ethnic groups they become hurtful.
I am not terribly offended when another white southerner calls me a redneck. My observation is that blacks are not terribly offended when other blacks calls them by the "N" word.
What starts a fight is when outsiders use those terms.

Justme,
"What starts a fight is when outsiders use those terms"
Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. We Americans need be tougher when it comes to words and laugh them off. When someone takes our freedom away or our security or what we hold precious, then it's time to fight.
This case of Natalee Holloway is very tragic because it will never be resolved. Joran will walk. He will have to live with the guilt. Maybe he is such a gutless coward that he can live like that. Where will the prick go? I doubt he'll stay in Aruba or go to the U.S as he originally planned. To many people will hate him in those places. He'll probably hide in Holland.

LURKER:
I'm still waiting.
Where in BR did you grow up?
Where did you go to high school?
What was your major at LSU?
When did you graduate?
WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO STOP LYING?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!
Posted by: JustMe | Monday, July 04, 2005 at 10:41 PM
PKT:
You know what? I agree.
I just want to know what happened to Natalee and I want her mother and father to have sone closure.
Oh, and by the way, whoever it was that caused her misfortune I want to burn in hell.

LURKER:
I'm still waiting you fucking liar.

justme,
"I just want to know what happened to Natalee and I want her mother and father to have sone closure."
I hope so too but I am growing more and more doubful that will happen.
"Oh, and by the way, whoever it was that caused her misfortune I want to burn in hell."
I am more confident that this will occur.

Hello everyone. Happy 4th. Sad day for the Holloways.
Brian: I agree with your post completely, well said.
Just Me: I went to Istrouma High School!
Lurker: Southern gentlemen from Louisiana are nice but there are better ways to "agree to disagree"....use some maturity.
Where's Mary?

PKT:
I'd like to buy you a beer. I think that you and I could become friends fairly quckly.
After a couple of rounds you could sit back and watch me whip LURKER'S ass.
Posted by: JustMe | Monday, July 04, 2005 at 11:17 PM
LURKER:
Did you graduate from Istrouma High School with DeeDee? If not then what high school did you graduate from?
Wait! I got ahead of myself by assuming that you actually did graduate from high school.
Where are you, LURKER?

If those boys change their nationality, it will be very difficult to extradite them to Aruba, because Suriname is independent from The Netherlands and has no bond with Aruba. And to change your nationality in Suriname takes a couple of weeks, if you know the "usual ways". Their mommy is a smart woman. As Suriname don't deliver their countrymen to another country.

MY GOSH THE VERY BEGINNING WHEN FOX NEWS REPORTED THE ARUBA TOURISM MINISTER( I BELIEVE IT WAS HIM)'' ARUBAS REPUTATION IS AT STAKE'' OR SOMETHING TO THOSE WORDS- I THOUGHT TO MYSELF ... THIS IS A COUNTRY THAT VALUES MONEY OVER LIFE !!
I KNEW WHEN I FIRST SAW THIS BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN'S PHOTO , BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THAT SHE HAD BEEN MURDERED..
I HAD THEN STARTED IMMEDIATELY PRAYING FOR THE COMFORT OF HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
THEN FOR JUSTICE TO BE DONE IN A QUICK MANNER.
THERE IS MUCH CORRUPTION IN THE ARUBA GOVT...WHEN THESE 3 WERE DETAINED AND SUPPOSED ''SURVEILLANCE'' WAS DONE( BEFORE THEY WERE ARRESTED) THIS SHOULD SHOW US ALL SOMETHING.
BY LETTING THESE TWO BROTHERS GO , WHEN THEY ARE CLEARLY ACCOMPLICIES TO MURDER IS OUTRAGEOUS
MAY GOD JUDGE ALLL OF THESE PEOPLE SEVERLY- WHO ARE INTENT ON COVERING UP THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH WILL SET NATALEES FAMILY FREE... AND ONE DAY THEY WILL FINALLY HAVE PEACE AFTER THEY GRIEVE. GOD BLESS THEM ALL IN THE KING OF PEACE'S NAME, JESUS CHRIST
