Judge: Joran Van der Sloot Can Be Questioned By FBI

Was just informed that court results are now out in Aruba. All of the DNA evidence is said to have been thrown out - however, the tests can be conducted again through the proper procedures. Defense attorneys had challenged the testing as they claimed to have not been given enough time to argue against the procedure.

In possibly the most important development, a judge has ruled that suspect Joran Van der Sloot can be interrogated by both Dutch and FBI officials.

It just seems unfathomable that Joran and Kalpoe brothers could have left such a cold trail given the small amount of time they had to work with, their age and the level of activity even at those hours that must have been in and around the Marriott and the Holiday Inn. It is equally amazing that Natalee’s fellow classmates just left her alone at C&C.... something is very wrong there morally as well.

Some reports of late on this blog seem to give a picture of Natalee being pretty well out of it when she was at C&C...in that state she could have caught the attention of almost anyone there that night... who might have also trailed her so to speak.....I wonder if any LE types have went over the credit card receipts from C&C that night and tracked down those individuals to see what they saw and what their stories are.

Joran and/or the Kalpoes either got real lucky in how they disappeared her or someone else with more time and connections did it.

It is beginning to look like this mystery will remain a mystery for a long long time...and from time to time there will probably be Natalee sightings from the 4 quarters of the earth...I certainly hope not it is a parents worst nightmare....unbelievable…what people will due to others for there own gratification is horrific….as a species we have not evolved very far in our respect for the dignity of others….it seems to be to much about exploitation in one form or another…that also seems to be a theme when you look at many of these so-called tickle sites.

If I recall correctly, lying to the FBI is a FEDERAL OFFENSE punishable by up to FIVE YEARS in an AMERICAN FEDERAL PRISON. And yes, the U.S. and the Netherlands have an extradition treaty in place.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but if I'm not wrong it might be a good time for him to start telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

I think you are wrong in this case. This case is governerned by the laws in Aruba. The FBI is just serving as a consultant to Aruba PI. US law would not apply in this case.

There is no "confirmed" evidence Natalee was
drugged or had too much to drink. From what
I read..none of her freinds seem to think she
had to much to drink. And noone has come
forward to say she was "forced" into a any car.

I certainly hope the folks involved in her
disappearance get the maximum penalty..but
I hope others look at this case and learn
from it!!!

A tourist who was in C&C the night Natalie disappeared posted date time stamped pictures from a little after 12:30 which was right after JOran arrived.

One picture had Natalie dancing on the bar with a short skirt on. My guess is she did not do this sober.

My purpose is not to put her down, as it was a big party place, and I have had friends who have done the same thing. But you do need to understand that they were roaring drunk. Most girls are not going to dance on a bar with a short skirt unless intoxicated.

Good lord, even if she was drugged (willingly) and/or drunk off her rear NOTHING SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO HER. It does NOT give anyone the right to harm her or make her "disappear" I don't care if she slept around, I don't care if SHE made the decision to get in the car, I don't even care if she had consentual sex with all THREE boys, THEY ARE STILL AT FAULT! Natalee would be home by now if not!

I can't imagine that anyone would disagree with this point and I don't know why people feel they have to keep stressing this. This is given.

However, many posters have have tried to make a case that she was not intoxicated, that Joran drugged her or set her up, maybe carved her out, and she would have never gone willingly with him. It does seem that she was very intoxicated, probably by the time he arrived at C&C, thus he did not make her that way. And most likely he just liked her and was not trying to set her up. And yes, if she was intoxicated and to accustomed to drinking she very likely would have gone willing with him - if attracted to him - even if very out of character for her, and may have willingly had a sexual encounter with him that was not forced. Intoxicated people, especially if not accustomed to drinking, do lots of things which are inconsistent with what one would believe they would do.

I am an arubian and i pray that they find her(death/alive). I think it is so unfair that people think that we are trying to this cover up. You people only wath what the U.S. media is telling you. We also wath fox and we are SHOCKED at some of the lies they tell about us!! It's all BS!!! And that makes us so angry, because we are doing everything in our power to help find NH. Not to mention alot of money,did you really think that NH is paying for everything?? Think again!!

We do agree that we did not take this case seriously in the beginning and our gov. did agree to that!!!That explain why the police let them go.
Because we all thought that it was just another case of a runaway girl!!( that has happend before when tourist came here and did not want to go back).We want to find natalee alive (but i don't think she is).Our tourist industry can later be fix but we can never bring another NH to the holloway/twitty family!!!!!
We never said that crimes doesn't happen in ARUBA!! Crimes are everywhere!!
What we said is that ARUBA has a very low crime rate!!
We had 3 murder cases in 3 years( that is very low) with a population over 100.000.
I have to admit that i started to hate the americans for what they were saying about us(for calling us a 3rd world country and white slavery bs and lot's of crazy things that we can no longer laugh about) but then i thought to myself that is not their fault. It is just that you people don't know and that is why i do not want to call you people names like you people did to the arubans( not all of you ofcourse)but still we have to help each other, because this story has touch both AMERICANS and ARUBANS.
