That's a stupid comment. It's ignorant of what "this site" is versus what any individual or agency can do with information some have perhaps opted to place in public view, or didn't think they could be traced due to a use of some possibly dubious secrecy procedures.

When such information has appeared as a result of an accident or lack of knowledge by someone, I've deleted it by request. As to the only official investigation in and around this site of which I am aware, it's appropriate, legal and receives my full support and co-operation when asked for by law enforcement officials.

Are you calling me ignorant? Oh okay, maybe so and I can live with that, are I am living with it if true. I was told that my information likely obtained at google. I went there and that is not the case. My husband is an attorney and he said when it becomes threatening, such as people suggesting they can get my address indicating intimidation that is a problem to report. Also, the theft of identity say..I only hoped you could inform me if you have been getting other reports of this nature? It wasn't clear if I was being threatened when it was suggested my address could be obtained but I feel any attempt to obtain information about me a little strange. It never occurred to me to try to obtain personal information on other people making entries.

By the way, you did a nice job setting up the blog. It is likely you will be instrumental in helping to find Natalee. It is always good when ignorant people have folks like you around to make up for the lack of. Truth is very important and it probably takes many opinions to come up with what the truth really is sometimes. Just as long as everyone agrees it's okay to disagree from time to time too. I guess that is what blogging is all about.

PT I've responded in email. I find it a bit suspect that someone with a genuine privacy matter would want to work that out in public, as oppossed to email with a site administrator, or owner.

I'm done with this now. There is no more risk posting here as there is in any other genuinely open format on the Internet. Typaped is one of the most broadly used technologies for this purpose.
