How Did Natalee Holloway Leave Carlos And Charlies?

New information has emerged suggesting that one of the mainstays in the Natalee Holloway mystery, that she left the club in a grey car with Joran Van der Sloot and the two Kalpoe brothers, Satish and Deepak, may be incorrect.

It appears she may have left the front of the club on foot with Deepak Kalpoe.

Beginning with an Internet message referenced here:

When we saw her leave she left by herself. No one was with her but we did notice some local guys talking to her while she was in there.

the story of Natalee Holloway entering a car and calling out to friends begins to unravel. One individual who may have played a pivotal role in initiating that version of events is now re-considering and says she "hasn't heard it first-hand from a single eyewitness."

Evidently many of the students on the trip were discussing that version of events early on in the disappearance but further conversations have been unable to pin down any solid first hand account.

"The actual words change each time it's told. Possibilities are: "Woohoo!" "Aruba!" "Seniors 2K5!" But did any of it *actually* happen? We can't get an eyewitness to confirm."

Now, another source from Mountain Brook has come forward and offered an eyewitness account more in line with the Internet message which suggests Natalee Holloway did, at least once, walk out of Carlos and Charlies alone.

A witness outside of Carlos and Charlies that night states that Natalee Holloway came out of the club alone and appeared to be looking for someone. She stood in front of the night club for a short time and did present the appearance of someone who had been drinking, though she was certainly standing and in complete control. The words used to describe her appearance were "a little tipsy."

It's unclear what she may have been looking for, but it is possible she was looking for Joran Van der Sloot, who, along with Satish, "was nowhere in sight." At least one student on the trip suggests that Natalee, along with other young woman from Mountain Brook were actually quite attracted to the young Dutch boy.

Unlike the image painted by some in American media, his behavior to me, as described from a member of the Alabama community with knowledge of the trip suggests a rather laid back boy, charming, who seemed to draw women to him as opposed to taking a more aggressive approach. I've been told that it was actually Deepak Kalpoe who was more of an "in your face" type.

While an earlier report of a confrontation between Joran Van der Sloot and a male graduate from Mountain Brook may be true, I have not been able to independently confirm that story. I have been able to confirm a skirmish the previous night between Deepak Kalpoe and a student from Mountain Brook. It was presented more as a minor conflict soon forgotten and easily broken up by a friend other than a Mr. Reynolds, who has claimed to break up a fight between Joran Van der Sloot and a Mountain Brook student.

As to the possible Joran confrontation, one Mother of a student on the trip reports, "I tend to think it must have been the most minor of events. We did not even hear of it until it came out in the paper, so obviously it was not on a scale to even elicit gossip on the trip. Often as not these things occur when one boy bumps into another, causing offense. It very likely was something as small as that. It couldn't have been very heated if one guy could step in and verbally break it up."

As to what became of Natalee Holloway, one witness insists that after standing in front of Carlos and Charlies alone and looking about for a short time - she actually re-entered the night club for a brief period. She then emerged not with Joran Van der Sloot, but with Deepak Kalpoe, who is said to have had her by the arm in a manner suggesting he was helping her to maintain her balance.

The two are reported to have walked off down the street, turning the corner - possibly into a small alley, or a side street.

One possibility is that Natalee was actually looking for Joran Van der Sloot and relying upon Deepak Kalpoe to take her to him. That opinion is speculation and unconfirmed.

Update: This shouldn't be interpreted to mean that the three suspects and Natalee Holloway didn't eventually get in a car together. It is simply another thread in the story. It is quite possible that the four came back to the front of C&C. But this is a solid report, as solid as anything else. More so in some ways to me as I have spoken to the source for an extended period of time. The version has not changed and is, as stated, an eyewitness account from a verified source. 130 anyone's can see 130 things and many may fit into a timeline which makes none of them wrong. I am only reporting what I have verified through sources and what I have not.

One time , watching one of those court TV episodes, a murder investigator said that he hated when there were witnesses on a crime , because if there were 10 witnesses, there were 10 different histories and then they would change with time. He said "I prefer when there is NOT a single witness, then I can work and have more firm facts ro watch to solve the case".

Everything that the MB students who were attempting to be witnesses to the events of that night, must be taken with a large grain of salt, as they were all partying. Are there other witnesses from inside C&C's who say she left alone? Or with Deepak?

Except that Joran and the brothers readily admit she was in the car with them. The Kelpos even told their mother they gave her a lift so I am not sure about this report and think it no more reliable than the MB grads stories about what happened.

If she did have asthma she might have gone outside to get fresh air or it may have begun to bother her. As for Deepak since he was the owner of the car, seems odd he would be on foot and I thought C&C was a free standing building away from other buildings and alleys.
Like everything else, maybe time will tell which versions are true and which are not.

I am not going to take any of what we thought we knew to be true to in actuality be the truth. Oh, we've heard it a hundred times, from everyone that she was seen leaving with the three guys. If that's not true, it's time to start over.

I've been wanting to hear more from witnesses who had actually seen Natalee leaving the club. The only reports I've seen so far were from her friends who left before she did.

What about the witness who said she talked to Natalee, and Joran was standing next to her? This witness said Natalee told her she was going back to the hotel with another group.

Doesn't this screw up the famous time line? There is a big hole now, of how Deepak and Natalee hook up with Joran and Sateesh.

When I was young, (many moons ago) but over 21 or more, even after I was divorced and used to go out with my girlfriends, we never lost eyesight from each other, even if we were grown women. I never was put in position where my friends ran out on me and left me either standing on the sidewalk or inside a club. Perhaps only once my friend had me take her home and I had to drive home by myself when she was supposed to go home with me, as she was living part time in my house, but I never forgot and never forgave her, how could she let me drive all the way from Hollywood, to my residence at that time almost 30 miles away after we had been partying? And this was early evening, like around 9 p.m. We went to a "tea party" that resulted really in a wine party.
My question is, how can a bunch of kids and friends, completely disregard Natalee? where was her best friend? What about the other girls in her group? or boys? why everyone went to their rooms without checking if N was in? This I will never understand. And the chaperones, I don't care how many documents the kids and their parents signed releasing them from any blame, why did not they at least made a roll call every night to see if all of the kids were at the hotel? That would have rang an alarm if Natalee was not in at those hours of the morning.
Well, too many ifs, too late!

I just read in the Monkeys blog that the park rangers found a piece of tape with shoulder lenght blonde hairs stuck to it. In a cave near where someone said there traces of a freshly dug grave. All different versions, enough to make your brains explode. I am profoundly impressed by this because of the mother, I feel so much for her, and such anger at those three slugs. Yes! the Satish Kalpoe has a site in socials and had the audacity to post his photo coming out of jail and has a list of "friends" with their photos including the other little worm of his brother, but Joran is not there, he has removed his photo, what? they are not friends anymore?

I believe the reason that none of her "friends"
noticed her missing or that she had not returned to the room was because none of them returned back to the room until daybreak - remember, it has been reported that this was the final night of the vacation and these kids were running wild everywhere and that a large majority of them were out at the pool until 5am - and it has been reported that many were looped and probably couldn't tell you what happened that night in any great detail if they wanted to.
