Just reported on FOX there is physical forensic evidence that can be used but they won't say what it is.
That may have something to do with the post below.

I don't understand all the resources expended on this one case, the USA who seems to be screaming the loudest has how many people missing right here in the USA; how come they don't deserve the same (let alone any) news play. Just because Beth & Thug Twitty know how to use the news media & get 24 hr. a day play doesn't make it right that we spend all our resources & critize Aruba government etc. Maybe Beth should have considered going with Natalee to Aruba in the first place. Let Aruba handle this!!
Posted by: Donna | Friday, July 01, 2005 at 03:27 PM
Donna, that's fine. Let's take that approach in any situation where our natives are in trouble in a foreign land. Or for that matter, let's not step an ANY time there is trouble, big or small, in a foreign land.
It's people like you who would have let Hitler take over the world, because the other countries can "handle" it.

Let us keep in mind that if Natalee is being held agaisnt her will, or reached her demise at the hands of another party, that guilty party has an ample supply of forensic evidence to pass around Aruba to keep the kids as the prime suspect. It goes without saying that other interested parties have access to forensic evidence as well.
The good news is this new evidence may change the doom and gloom scenario on Monday.
Posted by: harry | Friday, July 01, 2005 at 03:48 PM
I'd retract the physical evidence post, as I'm doubting there is anything new other than phone and email records. If there were, it would be bigger news. Fox just mentioned it passing.

sorry about the blank post (hit enter by accident) CowboyGuy is right -there is no news anywhere (that I can see) about "new forensic evidence"
Posted by: King Kong | Friday, July 01, 2005 at 03:55 PM
the post about evidence was on hasibokos.com
Rep: Any hopes for a positive outcome?
Jan: You always have to be hopeful, but I don’t believe anymore that we will find Natalee alive.
Rep: Why not?
Jan: Because I know the details of the investigation and you don't !
The story was published by a couple of newspapers in The Netherlands yesterday and today. You can view one of the Dutch reports here in Haagsche Courant (local newspaper of The Hague)

Hi,
Have they gone searching in depth the "light house"? At the bottom, where false floors could take you to any tunnels built underground that can connect to many secret places, things that few people in the island are not aware of, but high profile people must know, in case they need to dissapear due to an invasion from other countries onto the island or to hide incriminating things until they can safely dispose of them?
For the father to say that "without a body there is no case" he must be so sure that Natalee is gone without trace, meaning that if he found help to burn the body of Natalee out of the island, maybe in Curazao, Colombia, Venezuela, whatever island can be used as a place to burn a body and to disperse the ashes. Remember that now is too many days after Natalee vanished, or was killed?
I don't think the father of Joran was going to be so "stupid" to put the body of Natalee attached with heavy blocks to avoid the body to surface the waters, knowing that diving is the first thing being done in an a case like this, it's obvious that the attention have been directed towards the ocean on purpose. Neither I think he was going to kill Natalee and cut the body in pieces, then burnt the body in his house?
Please this is a person with knowledge of how a criminal investigation is done.
Just look at the face of Joran now that he has the "message from his father, there is no body, meaning we did it in a way that they won't find her" yes look at him carefully in the last videoclip where he is taken to some place, he is almost smiling at the camera man, compared with the first time he was handcuffed where his eyes and face were saying "guilty as hell"!
Joran's father knows who helped him to burn the body, and where this horrible crime was comitted to protect his son, and who knows if he was involved too, when things went "wrong". Even Joran's mother has lied too.
What about that small plane that was mentioned when the dissapearance of Natalee Holloway was made public? To where, what time, this plane was used?
Should the USA put pressure by asking American citizens to cooperate by not going to Aruba on vacation, yes I will go with that, and to put a "huge amount of money for any info. after that", let's see when the people who work mostly in hotels, and always know "things" are going to talk or not; when tourists from USA stop coming and a reward for info. about Natalee Holloway could help out when there is no money to keep going, ah!
It is sad and a shame what is being on message boards about USA girls being a bunch of "sluts"!
Since all the excuses are: we are under Dutch rules. Well how about Americans not giving its support to the "tourism" in Aruba, since being in a "naive vacation state of mind" can put in jeopardy at any moment the security of any of the USA citizens since, Dutch, rules in Aruba! Ah, ah...no way,if that is the case, tell your people from Holland to support your tourism.
There are plenty of beautiful beaches, with great vacation packages where USA rules!
Come on people from the News you must be more aggresive too in doing questions, program after program saying the same, just looking for "ratings"?
You better do your job media people, what else can be lose, if these three guys are almost free, soon they will be laughing, drinking, having fun, gambling at the casino as always, with the "judge" appointed, in a great party.
Yes we Dutch rule and own this island!

I wonder if they partly said something about some forensic evidence as a way to shake up Joran. I mean the guy must be just shutting up since Daddy told him to.
Posted by: Midge | Friday, July 01, 2005 at 04:26 PM
Zadeh...I think it might be as simple as a search of the local landfill. Too late perhaps.
Posted by: wft | Friday, July 01, 2005 at 04:28 PM
One thing for sure. All the senarios, wowowo if the truth does come out and this case is solved look back on this site and wonder how so many people come up with so many crazy detailed ideas and uhhhhhhhhhh? how do minds think up all that stuff with nothing to base it on? It really will be interesting to find the truth and then compare it to all the speculation and character assasinations, etc. Also, like a gamble I suppose some people predicted correctly. Only time will tell the tale.

We could probably hurt the aruban authorities more by demanding our govt. do more to interrupt their smuggling routes. Kill their underground economy.

pt, it's a dangerous world out there. "Nothing to base it on"? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1421182/posts

I just heard that the Dutch are sending 3x F-16 to photograph island and surrounding watters in search of Natalee...
very unfortunate that Holland is acting this slow. This all is under pressure of Aruban Government.

Zadeh Abdalh -
I agree with much you have said espicially the "No Body No Crime" deal. I have thought for a long time that the body was professionally disposed of. Would not be a bit surprised if it was done during the 10 days between May 31st and June 9th..
NH may have been in the Sloot apartment house (deceased) when momma Twitty visited. Daddy knowing full well he would have plenty of time supplied by his "friends" to deal with the disposal problem.

I assume the three are the brothers and JVDS.

Hello, what doesn't add up is why anyone would not tell the Holloway family if Natalee was known dead? I mean why let them search and search and all that. Well, I am tired so maybe just not thinking well but?

Fox News just announced that three subjects have been charged with murder. Janssen is rolling the dice. Without a formal charge, the kids would have walked on Monday. Now, she has to expose her case to the presiding judge and prove she has enough to prosecute the three kids for murder. What does she have to lose? If she does nothing, the kids walk.
I hope we can appreciate the kids gambling on the security guard alibi.

Don't get me wrong. The Aruba cops have bungled this. But I know of plenty of cases in which foreigners have been murdered in the U.S. or have disappeared and the police tactics were questionable. Does this mean that nationals of those countries should boycott the US?
I'm not going to punish the merchants of Aruba because their law enforcement sucks. Fact is, nobody in any country likes their own police. When I travel to Latin America, first thing people want to do is put me on the defensive for INS and LA police brutality against Latinos. So I ask them, "do you like your own police?" That always gets the topic changed quick!
No reason to boycott Aruba here.

Thank goodness this case is moving along. Please, please let NH family take her body home for a proper family burial.
If there is forensics then hopefully the boys will say where/what they did w/the body.

Summin still ain't right if you ask me. Weeks of additional pain for the family, huge amounts of $ spent on the search? Still smells fishy, at least it's some news. Evidence should be interesting. Praying for family.

the case is starting to come together. now we have something. i hope they rot in jail. i keep hearing report that if joran is convicted he will only be in jail until he is 21 under dutch law. does anyone know more about that?

Says:
========================
Three young men detained in the disappearance of an Alabama teenager have been charged with murder since their arrest more than three weeks ago, Aruba's chief prosecutor told The Associated Press on Friday.
========================
They had been FORMALLY CHARGED the WHOLE TIME!!

i like my police...sorry you feel that way though, and honestly, i would be more than happy to see other countries boycott the us. hands down we're starting to get a little crowded anyway. so they can go ahead and close all of our borders if you ask me, just like arnold said
Posted by: Tennessee | Friday, July 01, 2005 at 05:16 PM

Joran will stay underaged until he is 18. By Dutch law your adult when you are 18 years old..

Breaking News...Now look at CNN front page they are not reporting this as Breaking news on their site like foxnews, msnbc because there are conflicting reports that they is murder charges filed against all three.

I have never gone to Aruba. It seems very pretty. I didn't realize the drinking age was 16. After this, I am not sure I would bring my kids there or to another island w/out US laws. I think that boycotting Aruba is a little steep if the government doesn't play its cards right...but if proven to be a cover up and nothing done about it I am not sure if I would feel safe while traveling there.
I do not hold anything against the Aruban people-but the way the police and government has handled this case is very alarming.
Posted by: texmom | Friday, July 01, 2005 at 05:20 PM
Tennessee,
I like some of my police, but also see his point. I have dealt with good police but also very bad and corrupt police in my life.
As far as people boycotting the US, do you want tourists to do this? Their not the same as immigrants, which is what it sounds like when you talk of closing borders. I work in a business highly dependent on foreign tourism and would be ruined financially if a boycott like this happened.. I shouldn't have to pay the consequences if, hypothetically, my local PD botched an investigation of a crime against foreigner. It makes no sense at all.
Posted by: Larry | Friday, July 01, 2005 at 05:20 PM
It's reported that they knew all the time but out of respect for the parents didn't tell them. I think they were trying to get a confession to back up whatever evidence they have.

The legal drinking age is 18
