Don't they have prison uniforms in Aruba? I'm sick of Joran looking like a college preppie all showered and refreshed and ready for a night on the town.

Well, once again Dan has proved that he has totally lost interest in this case and that he has nothing significant to add each day.
A re-capitulation of past posts is certainly NOT my idea of enlightning news. However, the discussion boards are still helpful for Natalee addicts such as myself. Thanx for that, Dan!
And for those of you who fell right into my sheeple category the other night, (by responding en masse that I'm Island Hopper (whoever she or he is),...please get a brain.
PS: Dan, For whatever it's worth, I'm glad your balls and testicles are OK :)

I agree with some that this timeing of the DNA samples from the tree boys indictates that the police have absolutly no physaical evidence in this case. When the duct tape with blond hair on it fell into the hands of the police, they used that to get the order for DNA samples from the 3 boys. The tape and hair may or may not be related to this case, but it was good enough to get the judge to order the DNA samples and the investigtion took advantage of the "find".

Stacy,
If I were truly on him, he'd be in ecstasy.

I've been reading through the post the last few days and I'm curious as to why the majority of people seem to be so sure that the police have no evidence just because they haven't announced what they have, they don't have to let us know anything.
I'm especially curious about the negativity about the duct tape. I'm sure that a preliminary comparison could have been done in Aruba to Natalie's hair(color, texture, etc) that may have indicated that it was a "match" - the only way they had before DNA - which gave them enough weight with the court to get permission to get the boys' DNA? Maybe a fingerprint was captured in the sticky part of the duct tape that was one of the boys'?

JenneDee: I am not negative about the duct tape/hair thing. But when I buy a lottery ticket, I don't go out a buy a new house and car because I bought a lottery ticket. I tend to be realistic in my expectations. The probability of prior physical evidence sort of speaks for itself.

Probablities?? This isn't the lottery! That's the negativity I'm curious about. There either is evidence or isn't - yes or no - not "I think there is only a 10% chance there is evidence that the prosceutor is not telling us about."

"i bet joran is dying for a drink and a game of black jack!!!"
Really? I'd think that Joran is dying for a game and a drink of Jack Black.

Well no matter if you accept it or not, investigations are based on probabilities JennDee.
Not all investigations have the resources that have been put into this case. That old man Miller from Texas did not use probabilities in his search, he used theory and other junk science and he came up empty after all his effort. If you don't rely on probabilities you just rely on chance and only dumb luck or a tip solves the case for you.

okay jessie and globetrotter, since you have spent so much time being constructive in finding her; where is she?
Posted by: blogreader | Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 08:59 PM
blogreader: I have been searching in the same places you have. Not very productive, Huh?
Posted by: Jessie | Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 09:06 PM
I figured I woundn't get a specific answer; no problem. I do appreciate what Tim and Dan are actually doing here, and we are all frustrated with this.

Well, probability (not fact) leads me to conclude that there is a female in the MBHS group (and not NH) that was down in Aruba that knows things that would cast some light on at least in part of what happened to Natalee Holloway. She would probably not know anything about where Natalee is now though.

Has the family consulted any psychics to help in the search?

Love those spinning balls. LOL

Thank you so much for the idea of the duct tape giving them the opportunity to demand DNA tests done.
Juran looks like he has lost weight in jail. Jail food would be fattening. Must be missing the booze and munchies of the casinos.
