Diario Reporting Natalee Holloway Remains Found?

This came in from Dutch blog Hasibokus ... I have not been able to confirm.

Diario is reporting that they learned through various reliable sources that the Natalee Holloway case is (almost) solved. Diario reported today that around midnight the police closed of the pond that was being drained in the vicinity of Aruba Racquet Club. Immediately after that the local police and FBI went to the site with special equipment to conduct a thorough investigation. It is believed that the remains of Natalee Holloway have been found in the pond. Diario has approached the local authorities to get a statement from them regarding the finding of the body.  The police officers got nervous and wouldn’t go into details.

This feels like just an overstatement of what Diario really wrote and another RUMOR that should not have been posted until confirmed.

This isn't stated anywhere in the Diario. The rest of the translation is correct.

I think Tim Miller said they previously searched it with dogs.

He said that they kind of got a "hit" but could not zero in because of the wind.

It is possible Natalee's body was there all along and was missed.

I happen to live in the Houston area and know the kind of work that Tim Miller has done. I certainly hope that a day doesn't come where you will need Tim's and his teams services.

i don't think you can really call Mr Miller a fraud. Perhaps he could have done better, but i think he is doing more to help the Holloway/Twitty family than 95% of the people posting on this blog (including myself and you)

I think that the pond may have been mostly dry, and it sounds like it may have had some mud and moisture. The pond filled later.

Thus, the stories about muddy shoes. If you buried something in the muddy part, it would probably be hard to tell after some time that the mud was disturbed, especially after the hurricane. TES came much later.

Looks like the Aruban powers realized that this story was not going away and that their tourism will be forever damaged by their attempted cover-up.

So, voila....bring in a witness and the body is miraculously found. I ain't buying what they are selling.

Now, the next step will be the three stooges stating that she fell, hit her head, and died on her own. They got scared and buried her. They will say how stupid they were...but it was all an accident. Yeah right.

But, the Aruban powers will accept this explanation. The three stooges will walk free. Despite lying, despite setting up two poor black guys, despite never stepping up and doing the right thing.

I think your anger is missplaced. Why blame Tim Miller? Just because he couldn't get a true "hit" due to wind (yes, nature does sometimes interfere) and it wasn't in his power to drain the pond himself (just as it wasn't in his power to check anything on the Kalpoe or VDS property) doesn't make him the culprit for not being able to find Natalie.

After everything is over (trial, etc.), Beth might need to make some good come of this tragedy (the way John Walsh did) so that Natalee didn't die in vain.
For example, Beth might help parents find missing children.

I'm sure she also needs to rest.
