like what did you hear OMG???
Posted by: roy rob | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 02:55 PM
just heard that there is a psychic on aruba who knows what happened.. and he told the police he would help them.. and he would if they asked them to, and he said that they are interrogating the wrong people and they should start questioning natalee's parents cuz the answer is with them...
and I also heard that natalee's insured for 2.4 million dollars!! of course I cannot confirm this... but I do think it's kinda weird.
and they said the parents are all after that insurance money... I don't know if I should believe this... but it could be a possibility .....
I guess we'll just have to wait and see..
Posted by: ohmygod | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 02:56 PM
by the way.. i don't mean the american psychic... this is a man.. who lives there on aruba
Posted by: ohmygod | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 02:58 PM
What a bunch of Crapola! I believe in intuition, and precognitive thinking...but that is one bogus report!

I know it might sound a little extreme but what if the parents really ARE guilty?
Posted by: ohmygod | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:03 PM
to OHMYGOD, you are a sick individual. Try focusing your vile imagination somewhere else.
Hasn't this family suffered enough without people like you making up more filth?
Posted by: melja | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:06 PM
OMG.
The RUMOR about the insurance policy was floated weeks ago about Natalee and discredited. I know everyone is entitled to an opinion, but don't try and refloat trash that was sunk already.
Posted by: Shocked and Appalled | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:11 PM
ohmygod:
I agree with melja, It's a refreshing thought anyway, people could use one here ;)
I'm amazed how many people "claim" to know the truth and judge a scared little kid, with no direct evidence whatsoever as to his guilt.
Posted by: madness | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:13 PM
Shocked and appalled i'm not trying to refloat anything... i don't read this forum every day so i dind't know that...}
and melja you are suck yourself... i did not make this up... i just heard it... and stop being so stupid
Posted by: ohmygod | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:14 PM
I never said this is true or anything... so don't blame me... i just wrote what I heard... and stop calling me sick... cuz I'm not...
And melja stop being so narrow minded..
sorry if i brought this up again.. i just didn't know
Posted by: ohmygod | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:16 PM
sounds like nonsense OMG....not nice to spread falsehoods, where would you hear that info?
Posted by: my O God | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:16 PM
I know the Holloway family well and I can assure you that her parents are not involved. As a matter of fact they are spending thousands of personal dollors trying to find her. When they get back home they are not going to have a dime. So, i dont think they're interested in the money. Not only are they spending everything that they have, but neither one of her parents have worked for two months. So just all of you think on that for a while. I haven't seen Beth or Natalie since November, but a family member told me that when Beth found out that blood was found in one of the suspects car she became so upset that she started vomiting. Does that sound like she's involved. I not even suppost to be running my mouth, but hearing the negative crap people say can be so hurtful.

my O God:
I was just talking to a friend who lives over there.. and the friend told me it was in the papers a while ago...

Psychics are FAKES
I used to do 'magic' -- illusions, misdirection, tricks, 'mind-reading', hypnotism. I've studied the art of fooling people. I've done it myself in the past. You can do your own research and find out how!
PSYCHICS ARE PLAYING GAMES -- GUESSING --
'DECEIVING and BEING DECEIVED'
Most everyone here has been trying to guess the scenario that took place. But most everyone here is honest enough to say it is just a guess.
Only a dishonest person makes the guess and then tries to make people believe it is due to some 'special knowledge' or 'magic.'
Your guesses and investigations are far better!

OMG, so you felt compelled to share your admitted "it was in the papers awhile ago" as new info?? Please don't insult everyones intelligence.

OMG: again... everyone is entitled to an opinion and their own thought, that's what this board is about I believe, but in terms of the insurance story, it was in some of the MSM for a brief moment and on this board, but I believe 100% discredited... so yes it was out there a while ago.

They were asked not to watch hours ago FOX probably just got around to it or are repeating an earlier item
Posted by: my O God | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:24 PM
I hope the 200 or so Aruban protesters of Beth Holloway Twitty freeze their butts off in Aruba's tourist industry's comming "nuclear winter". I'll bet it will be even more severe than after St Croix's "fountain valley" murders. I hope they remember protesting a distraught mother and suffer.

my O God: well I have a live besides this forum... so I did not know it wasn't new information... I don't come here every day... anyways... if you all know this is not true.. why attack me then? It wasn't my intention to be negative... you are the ones being negative by calling me sick and stuff....
Posted by: ohmygod | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:25 PM
Wasn't your intention to be negative? You even said the "friend said it was in the papers awhile ago" What made you think this was a positive input??
Posted by: my O God | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:29 PM
Yes, remember, It turned out not to be blood. (so they say) This happened at the beginning of they case remember. They said it may be some other type of body fluid, but they never came back and followed up on that. Thankyou for your opinion ohmygod. no hard feelings. we are all having a very hard time with this. it brings me so much comfort to read these blogs because i know so many people care about the case.
Posted by: kell | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:30 PM
When did they start draining that pond? According to the news it's going to take about 24 hours to drain the thing.
Posted by: madness | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:30 PM
lets move on please
Posted by: my O God | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:30 PM
they started draining it last evening I think like 10:30 EDT
Posted by: my O God | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:32 PM
they finally turned the pumps on after 7PM last night... it might have actually been even later.
Posted by: Shocked and Appalled | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:32 PM
Most people when posting "breaking news" or facts will site their sources. Most even check out the credibility of thier sources.
Kell,
It is clear to me that Beth knows more than she can say. As I stated back a few weeks ago, (sorry to say that it has gone on this long) investigations always withhold information until they have made their arrests. It is my opinion that they know a lot! I hope they are not going to make a deal to not disclose their information in exchange for Natalee. I think their information is going to be a bombshell that will Rock the Aruban LE.
But let me be clear, if I were in Beth's shoes, and if that's what it takes to get Natalee, I would do what it takes.
I have 3 children close to that age. I don't believe there is a nightmare any darker than this.

CNN reports that it will take 15 hours to drain
("The task began at 9 p.m. and was expected to take about 15 hours, the spokesman said.")
URL: http://edition.cnn.com/2005/LAW/07/26/aruba.missing/index.html
so it should be done by now or at least very very soon
Posted by: gwb | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:44 PM
emevval5,
Agree, totally. They do know more. After watching H&C conduct their interview with Jug and Beth last night, its very obvious. Hannity even went as far to say that when all is done, will everyone say "WoW". Jug looked right at her, she paused, and said YES.
Throughout the entire interview, they were very selective and careful over their choice of words.
As far as how much they will eventually DISCLOSE, I believe it will be ENOUGH to satisfy most appetites.
Posted by: outrgaed | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:45 PM
I just read that someone posted something about this yesterday but I only thought about it this morning...Is it a conincidence that the 2 new witnesses that have led to the heightened "activity" in Aruba right now have been silent until the reward for Natalee's whereabouts was raised to $100,000? Why haven;t they come forward before this? Were they just waiting it out until the jackpot hit $100k?
Maybe there are some cultural/class issues among the Arubans that prevented a "gardner" from disclosing this info...I don't know...it just looks bad.
Posted by: Ubiquitous Dread | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:49 PM
Sorry about that madness, right now Shephard Smith on FOX just finished his interview with Greta about the latest. 3:30 EST. Tonight's show with John Walsh and Greta airs on FOX at 10 PM EST.
Greta reported that the Twittys have been asked not to watch the draining of the pond. (already posted here) CNN reporting their photographer was asked not to photograph the draining of the pond. Tim Miller of Equusearch reporting that they are bringing another piece of equipment designed to scan ground for (could be used for) find where something is buried.
**Greta reports at the time Natalee went missing, this pond was empty***

Everyone involved here is tripping over their words , with the exception of the reporters....(not trying to be rude) , but hopefully someone knows what's going on here or there is a reason for the secrets ..... why bother telling everyone there is a secret , if it's not helping anything.....Just a thought!

I believe it was it was all dark there with the guys wading into the storm pond, salinja, whatever it is referred to.

i realize that 24 hours is the time quoted by most sources, i was posting the 15 hours because i thought it was odd that they (CNN) were the only source saying 15... i guess they were just misinformed
Posted by: gwb | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:53 PM
Beth knows about evidence that was found that she cannot share with the public. Most of it is leaking out though. If they find a body the Holloways want to be able to notify all of the family members before it is reported on this news. That way her grandparents aren't flipping through the channles and see there grandaughter being pulled out of a lake dead or something, but you know how the media is.
Posted by: kell | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:53 PM
Thanks for the point Kell...I'm just thinking out loud ... again, not at all trying to be critical , or rude!!
Posted by: \\\\CroSSBronXXPress//// | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:56 PM
I am a firefighter and during recovery efforts, it does not suprise me the parents were asked not to watch. Rescue personel have no idea what they are going to find and what condition they are going to find Natalee, if she is indeed there. Mutilation, decomposition, ect. are difficult images to view for personel let alone a parent. I feel it is fair to say that most decent people of Aruba are shook up about this, police and firefighters as well as anyone else who has helped with the search and rescue efforts. If it was me and I was there as a firefighter draining that pond, I would not be looking forward to what I might find at the bottom of that pond or buried within it. Truly a nightmare for all.....
Posted by: cj | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:58 PM
I'm off to watch the news now maybe there is some info.
Because off all the terrorist threats over here, the focus of the media will probably not be on Aruba though. :( Going to give it a go anyway.
Posted by: madness | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 03:59 PM
I just hope those witnesses aren't making up crap just to get the money.
Posted by: kell | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 04:00 PM
Anyone have any theories about the ALEs' request the Twittys do not observe the operations in and/or around the pond. As for the most obvious, I (like many others)do not believe the body is here.
Posted by: outraged | Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 04:00 PM
You know, the problem I am having with this witness whose information led to the pond-drainage is this: According to J. Mansur a man told Deepak Kalpoe in jail that the man's gardener witnessed something incriminating. According to Mansur, Deepak "turned white" and upset his dominoe board. Now the gardener has been coaxed into testifying by Mansur. The big question here is WHY DIDN'T THE GARDENER'S EMPLOYER GO TO THE POLICE BEFORE NOW? (I know all caps is screaming, but believe me, I am screaming the question). It makes no sense. Surely someone who employs a gardener is not fearful of losing his job. Why was it only a tabloid investigator who got this information? Oh, and last night on FOX, everyone was in agreement that there is no way that a body could be in that pond. They are looking for forensic evidence (clothing, shoes, etc).
