NEW YORK (AP) - A 13-year-old boy went to a restroom during a Yankees game and never returned, and searches of the stadium, nearby fast-food restaurants and train stations by hundreds of police and security guards were fruitless.
......
Ten to 15 children are reported missing at every Yankees game but are almost immediately located, police said.

Am I first??
Don't anyone laugh but I got lost once at Joe Davis Stadium in Huntsville after a game, one of the ones in which Michael Jordan played. Came out on wrong side of it and did not realize it until received several interesting invitations for transportation.
Sure hope he turns up and whoever has likely taken this child returns him and NOW! We need more control of predators so that if this is innocent, panic will not be so sure to ensue every time a child is out of sight. I pray he is safe.

I can't take it - not another missing child. WHY? We should not have to hold the hand(s) of our children every second of every day.
Thank you, Dan. Hopefully people are on the look out for this missing child. Hopefully he just got lost and is on his way home as I type.

Where could he possibly be? If they checked all the security cameras I can't even imagine. I can't see it being foul play 7th inning stretch Yankee stadium like any other stadium people are all over the place. Besides Yankee Stadium has extra security, there are gaurds at the exits and entrances the whole game. Don't know my hinky meter is really going of here, maybe they should check the cameras when they came in. Either way this boy is missing and I hope they find him.

Any updates on this boy? The media bias will unfortunately continue on this case...his picture will never compete with those that get the attention of the public! Sad, but true.

For crying out loud, what is the matter with the world? Why do bad things keep happening to our children?! This boy and his family will be in my prayers.

The world is becoming 'over-populated'. More people, more idiots. You think this is bad, wait till the year 2045, 2050, etc. People then are going to wish they lived back in our days which will one day be considered less tragic. This world is on a one way street towards doom & I feel very sorry for those that contribute towards the misery of others. They will lose their souls in this world & the next.

This is truly sad. Most people think there is no greater American past time than a Yankee baseball game! A family outing turned tragic. Unbelievable. My prayers are with Magelique and his family.

You know, I just don't let my children out of my sight anymore...I have a 13 year old son, and there is no way I would allow him to go to the bathroom alone in a place like that. Yes, it's overprotective, and no, I don't care what anyone thinks, including him. My job as a mother is to take care of my children. People need to realize that we aren't living in the 60's anymore. How many more children are we going to lose before parents take heed?

I think people had better come to Aruba than to a baseball game in the USA. People go missing by the minute in USA.

He obviously should not have been sent off by himself but the fact that he is found safe this morning, is good news. His mother should be smacked for letting him roam off unattended like that.

Roy, that they do. But here in the states, a search is usually conducted right away, especially for a child.
