Troubling Developments In Search Activities

Have received multiple and confirmed reports of problems developing in search procedures resulting from interference by the press. Initial reports suggest main point of interference from "foreign," press, also identified as some members of the Dutch press. "Foreign" not fully accurate relative to geography, but more a reflection of primarily American make-up of portions of search team.

At least one report of rocks being tossed in water and slurs being yelled at searchers from professional individuals sporting camera equipment which suggests their identification as members of press is reliable.

Acts of interference said to also include entering the water in and around divers, roiling water and otherwise getting in their way. Have been informed of at least one attempt to call individuals together in an attempt to settle things down so search could continue.

Additional reports suggest some members of search team may have also been more confrontational than necessary. Report reliable, but unconfirmed from additional contact at this time.

Keep in mind that multiple locations are being searched at the same time by different groups; conflicts in reports can stem from incidents at different locations.

Many locations which may have provided suspected individuals with quick access to likely disposal points yet to be searched, or searched completely.

I made a comment a few nights ago concerning a son that has an attorney for a father and how his son won't say anything until his Dad tells him too. I think we all have come to the some conclusion, Joran is biding his time. It is so dishearten. I believe Natalee's mother wanted to raise a daughter that is a happy, healthy, productive member of society and she did do that. Natalee thought Joran was safe. He said his father is a Judge and he is an honor student soon to study in the U.S. The only fault lies not with her but with the last person who put her family through agony.

I believe that Joran did something to the girl, either by accident, possibly skinny dip and drowning? accident? violence? only he knows and the two other brothers detained also know, why do they keep covering up for Joran? unless they participated in the crime also. And the father knows also, but is covering up for his "little boy", after all, he has not much to loose in his judgeship, perhaps his personal property and his comfortable life. I hope Beth puts all the pressure she can on this so called "investigation" and I would really love to see the US Goverment get involved into this one!

There are some pictures of the water at this beach posted earlier. At the time the pictures were taken, the water is very calm. There appear to be few waves. If the water stays like that all the time, it would be difficult to see how a person drowned unless they went out pretty far. It would also be hard to see how a body that was disposed of there would go anywhere other than float on top of the water. These same pictures showecd that the hotels were not all that far apart but there is supposedly a fence between. There is some new construction at the Marriot. The real question at this point is how many of these kids are lying. The Bros are saying that they dropped them off at this beach and went home. If that is true, then it appears that whatever happended took place on this beach-which was not too far from civilization. If there was a rape, it seems more likely at some place like the lighthouse which was also in the pictures-very secluded. However, the search team went there yesterday and found nothing. However, it is possible that if drugged, the rape took place at this beach since victim would not be expected to resist. The newspaper editor expects more arrest. It sounds like they have something on the father but the judge did not think it was enough to hold him. They will continue to investigate him. Again, someone had to helo this boy move the body.

After watching the latest Fox News and Scarborough Country updates, I believe it would behoove the authorities to abandon the idea that the three kids committed a crime ... other than lying. If the authorities do not, they essentially are concluding that a 17-year-old, island boy has out-smarted the combined Aruban police interrogation and the FBI investigative forces for over two weeks. How can that be possible?

Actually it is not uncommon for a woman to leave her purse behind if she's going to a club for the evening, I don't see that as suspicious or an indication that she returned to her hotel room (unless witnesses confirmed she was carrying it at C&Cs and I haven't heard anything to suggest that happened). A purse is a burden, something you have to keep track of while you're eating, dancing, socializing. It's easy enough to put money in a shoe or pocket, why bother with a purse? Just because the purse in the hotel room had money in it doesn't mean Natalee didn't take money with her.

Rosemarie, I too hope the government will put the pressure on Holland. I think the judge they sent over from Curacao is probably close friends with PVS given the small justice system in the islands. What a shame. Even the prosecutor was shocked at his release.

Fox seems to be the only channel keeping a regular report up and even Greta seemed so discouraged tonight. I do pray that the Texas team finds something. I too thought it odd that her bags were packed and money and purse were in her room. Someone has posted that her friends packed her bags-could be possible. However, she reportedly had a fear of missing her plane and probably packed everything before she went out-It sounds like the group planned to stay up together all night and catch their plane in the morning. I heard one of the students indicate that this and her friends stayed up all night. She may have packed ahead if she anticipated doing this. The money and the purse may seem unusual but if you were going to a bar, you might not want to carry around a purse-she could have put her money and license in her pocket. That is a reasonable explanation. If she had come back to the hotel, it is likely that the cameras would have recorded that or her friends who were staying up all night would have seen her or perhaps her roommates. I got the impression from what one of the male MB students said that the group planned to spend this last night all together staying up. This trip was the end of their lives together and it would not be unusual for them to want to spend it staying up all night by the pool. They expected Natalee to be there and she indicated to someone that she would be there directly. It would be nice to hear what happened when she left C & C directly from the person who saw her leave-none of the MB teens that have been interviewed saw her leave. There are just so many facts that we do not have.

I have a good friend whose sister was murdered in front of an academic hall in Michigan. Authorities told her parents that they knew who did it but they could not prove it.

Then the SOB went to Texas and murdered a few more girls. But although he went to prison Texas authorities screwed up and had no choice other than to release him.
